Amazing but…. I’m gonna be completely honest this game is crazy fun. But it feels almost incomplete the start is super fun and the mechanics are amazing but the game itself is kinda empty. I really think this game is amazing but I think after 1 or maybe 2 updates it will be a game I would recommend to my friends. But until they add some thing to use the essence for or make armor worthwhile it’s a bit half baked.
Incredible. Have not had this much fun in vr in a long time. The graphics are great if that is your thing. The combat is one of the best I have seen. And the spellcasting is incredible. This game is an easy 4 stars without multiplayer but with it it deserves 6. I hope that the devs continue to build out the world of ironstrike. Only complaint I was in the final battle against a mini boss in the long desert biom at dusk and I was running from the boss and he started clipping into the ground I think it had to do with the change in altitude. Overall one small bug. Devs y’all did great on this one but please continue building this game world. If you are not sure about this game just buy it play with some friends one of the best games on the store right now!
Awesome blade mechanic’s. I love me a good sword game. B&S, Swordsmen and Battle talent are all great in their own way and all use heavy physics combat. That being said I find this game more technical with its blade combat, more like 🤺 instead of just finding an open spot to stab or slash. I never played this Devs first game Iron lights so had no clue coming into this. At first I was confused and almost asked for refund but then I went to the Discord and asked the general Pop on how the mechanics worked. They were very helpful and now that I understood it, the game turned out amazing. If you enjoy games with blade combat you will enjoy this one. It is way different from all the other physics style sword games on the market and that is ok. Each style has its place in VR. My favs now are this game, Battle talent and Until you fall. All have their own unique combat style and I love them all. Thanks Devs and please expand and make either another game or DLC with a story campaign like a legend of Zelda inspired game with these mechanics. Chefs Kiss🤞🤞🤞
Great Roguelike Fun. Ironstrike is a great game with unique visual style, combat, and environments that are a refreshing break from most games. Environments are vast and open, and the combat is fluid and heavy.
A unique playstyle for each of the three classes helps you stay engaged, ranging from the heavy melee focus of fighter, precise damage from a distance with ranger, and elegant magic with spellcaster keep each run interesting and unique. Not to mention that multiplayer makes it even more replayable.
The Best Roguelite Experience. By far one of the best roguelites I've ever played in gaming. The skills feel great, the hits are heavy, but the greatest accomplishment of this game...is the spellcasting baby. You don't just select stuff and press a button, you take that wand and wave it around in motions that make sense for the spells and then cast them. Nice job McNeill.
The best game I've played in a hot sec. Rather, you're playing alone or with friends or hey, maybe even with just randoms. This game never gets boring, at least in my opinion it's got a fire soundtrack as well, which just adds to the amazing atmosphere, speaking of the atmosphere the game looks great one of the best looking games I've played out right. Now, what you're probably wondering the most is, "Is the combat any good?" And let me tell you, it's GREAT. Rather, you're swinging heavy weapons destroying enemies in one hit, launching high-speed arrows from the back line, or casting powerful spells to help your team it absolutely fantastic, and I've loved every second of it so it definitely worth a shot.
Amazing game and creativity!! Ironlights (Another game created by EMcNeill), was the first VR game I made friends with. Ironstrike has been in development for a while now, and while waiting for it, I have made tons of friends in the Ironlights community, and I couldn’t be happier. Though the community is amazing, the game is even better.
Ironstrike is a singleplayer, and multiplayer game where you and or your allies pick different weapon classes, (Mage, Duelist, Archer, etc) and fight alongside together to defeat your enemies. Each class has their own weapons with special abilities. Each wave you defeat, you get your own choice of upgrading your weapon, or yourself. Fight, cast spells, shoot, and destroy your enemies into victory.
You can also get money, which can get you armor of your choice, and even colors!! The customization in this game feels endless. With another form of currency, you can upgrade yourself permanently to help you survive. You can earn this currency faster by completing challenges.
The story of the game is very fascinating, and it will make you think about the game more often, wondering what other stories you can unfold.
Ironstrigh. The game is great. The game is good in single player, the amount of weapons and builds make it really replayable. Please though, please make sure you play this with a group of players. The amount of stupid and fun bullshizz potential this game has is insane. Great game and port it to steam?!!!!!!!&!;&!!?!!!
