My favorite! I absolutely love this game! It's not even really a game, it's more of an experience. I'm not a good dancer and I'm an intrinsically lazy person, but I obsessively play this every night and end up blowing past my Apple Watch goals and it just feels like I'm bopping to music and having fun. I do wish there were more music options like actual 80s music and IDM (as opposed to EDM), but it's not a huge drawback because there are still tons of songs.
I especially like that you can set it to play a random song and a random background so that the game doesn't feel repetitive. I also appreciate that the game is super customizable and allows people of less mobility to still enjoy it. Some people have mentioned that this is an easier rhythm game, but that's a selling point to me. I don't always want to be stressed out and trying for more points or avoiding getting killed. Set Synth Riders to no-fail mode and just have a good time!
Fav game. Has so much replay value. I have other rhythm games like Beat Saber, Pistol Whip, audio trip, yet I haven’t touched those since I got synth rider. The modded songs support is amazing and the experience pack is the first in game dlc that I have not gotten buyers remorse from lol. Highly recommend.
Wow what a game! What have the developers created! I’ve been playing VR games since the Quest 1 was launched and this is one of the best VR games I have played. In particular the experiences! The Muse Starlight experience is the best VR experience I’ve ever ‘experienced’
A very fun rhythm game! Even for seniors. Me and my family do enjoy the music that comes with the game, and the play able to get you into movement like a flow, which is superb to me as I’m a programmer and I sits most of my days - I don’t even have to do stretch before doing the “workout” lol
I like how easy it is to navigate through the game and customize my game play such as the blocks/music notes and the feedback as well to make them pop in the color that makes sense to me!
The older generations in my family also love this game and feel the Normal level was like a full body workout to them. The Swing pack is their favorite lol
The only thing I wanna warn people about is that if you have motion sickness (easily feel sick in a car ride, 3D movies make you feel uncomfortable etc) find a background that doesn’t trigger as much dizziness first. My dad is totally OK with Beat Saber, but he felt nauseous and dizzy when he first started playing this game, so just thought to gives people a headsup.
