I want to live in this game. Maybe annoying, but the best compliment I can give is to say: I hope there is a Moss 3, and that we don't have to wait as long as for Moss 2! The game started out feeling very like the original, which made me happy. (Though I was annoyed to lose my super-charged sword!) The gameplay changes kept coming, though. The new weapons were cool,. and not too hard to figure out. The final section with its weird mirror doors was mind-boggling. And the end was heart-wrenching. And the after-scenes were awesome and gave me hope another sequel is in the works! But if not, it ended beautifully, and I thank you at Polyarc for taking me on this fantastic journey will such a delightful companion.
Amazing, even better then first part. Just finished the game and wow. What can i say studio who did that performed something amazing. They got first part of the game and actually made it better. The story is amazing, the game is not feeling lonely anymore, bosses, friends, weapons and most of all everything is balanced. I have no words. This is THE game that you buy quest headsets for. Huge thank you to creators for setting up a gold standard of what could game should be. Btw graphics is just stunning, first thing i did in every scene were looking around the scene because its that great.looking forward to next moss chapter
Cannot praise it enough. This is so much more than just a game. This is the best VR experience I've ever tried. The story is engaging, the locations are stunning, new mechanics and puzzles are entertaining. You can feel that the world and the characters are made with love. It made me cry of sadness and laugh with joy.
Big thanks to the developers and hoping for more titles like this
The best ever. I bought the Meta 2 solely to play this game. It has not disappointed yet. I wish all VR games were made with the craftsmanship and detail that Moss offers. It is the reason I love VR as much as I do. I simply have not found another game that even comes close in comparison.
One of the best VR games. This game is great!!!! It picks up right where the last one left off, it has challenging puzzles, epic boss fights, and fun new characters as well as all that the first game had. It has happy moments, and sad ones. New weapons and armor, and the story is longer than the first and there are new enemies. One of the coolest things is that there is room for a third game!!! (Please make another game)
Wish I could give it 10 stars. I just finished this game last night. I have been gaming since the mid 1980s and I can confidently say that Moss Books I & II rank as some of the best games I have ever played. It’s not that they are the most challenging, or the most action-packed, or the biggest, because they are not. But they are some of the most thoughtfully designed and crafted games I have ever seen. Not unlike the hero of the series, they are small but mighty and bold. When you boil them down, these are puzzle platformers, which I normally don’t feel very excited by. But the extraordinary level of craft that has been put into the Moss games elevate them to what feels more like an experience, a journey, and a real adventure than just a solid game.
Moss II is a direct continuation of the previous game and includes everything I loved about Book I while peppering in clever new mechanics (in terms of both platforming and VR interactivity), puzzle designs, characters, weapons/abilities, and environments (some of which are jaw-dropping). My connection to main character Quill (and her friends) truly felt deepened throughout this sequel. I’m used to playing loud, violent games, and here I am getting choked up over a tiny mouse’s emotional journey. This is a testament to the character design, writing, animation, and world-building. You really feel like you’re doing what you can to help your little buddy save her world.
Highest recommendation. Hoping for more Moss to come!
どのパズルも難易度は高いですが、周囲をよく見て、目印やヒントに注意し、試行錯誤すれば、必ず解けるはずです。もし助けが必要なら、"A Wolf in VR "によるプレイ動画がおすすめです。
Moss: Book IIは、The Game AwardsでBest VR Game of 2022を受賞しました。最も愛され、最も評価の高いVRゲームの1つであることには理由があります。誰もがこのVRの名作を体験すべきです。

An experience not to be missed. Meet a tiny protagonist so endearing she will melt your heart. You also become a character in the game, helping, protecting, and healing her throughout your shared journey.
Discover environments so detailed, lush, and beautiful they will take your breath away. Make sure to look around in every direction (including up).
Experience a story told through outstanding narration, beautiful music, and moments so affecting they will sometimes leave you speechless.
Though not necessary, I recommend starting with the first game (especially if you are new to gaming). This sequel begins where the original game left off. The gameplay is similar but more challenging. The environments, combat, and puzzles are even more creative and varied. The experience has been enhanced in every way.
The game includes collectables and achievements. I especially recommend trying to collect all the scrolls, which will be used to complete beautiful artworks. It is recommended to play the game seated so that you can stand up and reach around in order to explore the environments and find hidden treasures.
All the puzzles are challenging but can be figured out if you look around carefully, take note of markers and clues, and experiment. If you need help, I recommend the video playthrough by "A Wolf in VR."
Moss: Book II won Best VR Game of 2022 at The Game Awards. It is one of the most beloved and highest rated VR games for good reason. Everyone should experience this VR masterpiece.
Just mind blowing incredible ! After a year of owning an oculus, this game (and the first Book) stand out as leaders in both game design and incredible graphic detail. The story telling that goes along with it (story and the voice actor) are in a league of their own.
This game is great for both kids and adults, but may prove to be a bit too challenging for younger kids.

WORTH IT FOR THE ROLLING BEETLES ALONE. This game is incredible, but you should never pay full price on a game if you don’t have to (esp if it’s $30+) so type this in your browser to pay less!

The parallels between Moss 1&2 and the God of War reboot, are insane. I’d love to explain all those ways but I really don’t want to spoil any of these experiences for anyone, but if you play them you’ll see it. The way the sequels perfectly built on and improved everything the first games did great while also listening to the criticisms of the first games and fixing those issues. Moss Book 2 not only gives you more abilities and weapons to use as well as more tools to solve puzzles, but there are more enemies this time around… my favorite being these rolling beetles that you (the reader) can grab and crank back to launch toward enemies… using these guys against other enemies made this game worth the price alone… and there’s a surprise I don’t want to spoil, just as there was in Ragnarok. But this game is 100% worth the price esp if u use that code.
Loved it beginning to end. I enjoyed the first one, but this one blew me away. Visually stunning scenes and background. Fun game play. Introduction of new things (won’t spoil) really put this sequel on another level. The story is amazing. It pulls you in and endears you to Quill beyond any other game I’ve played. I can’t say enough about this masterpiece. Well done devs!! Do not hesitate to buy this game right now. You will not be able to put this down…then you’ll play again.
Inside a Storybook 🤩💜🧚🏻♂️. Just finished Book 2 and BIG SWOON for visuals and world. Book 1 was hard to top but they managed to go so. It truly feels like you’re inside a storybook. Stunning and fantastical! The puzzles are on the easy side of medium. Just right for the style of game that doesn’t take away from the visuals. You really want to spend time in this game world just looking around. Some of the levels are more challenging but give it time and you’ll figure it out. The final showdown was actually easier than I expected. Really and truly it’s the enchanting world and cute comrade Quill that make Moss 1 and 2 some of the best games on VR. Can’t wait to play it again!!
Not enough stars to be accurate. There is no way a 5-star rating is high enough for this game.
After Moss Book I, I immediately missed Quill and started playing Book II. I finished it this morning and was literally teary eyed when it ended. I'm 49! I'm not some young hormonal teenager lol
I have been sitting in a sense of emptiness today, trying desperately to find a Moss-equivalent. But no luck. There is no such game!
If you loved the first Moss, you will be THRILLED with this one! I do not want to give away anything that makes this game even better than the first.
Trust me: if you are debating at all, just buy this!!!
DEVELOPERS: I'm begging you for Book III!!!! PLEASE!!!!!
Bar SET. The reviews say it all! Moss 1&2 have set the bar! Support games like this and we'll see more developers create magic... And the barrier to entry for making your own super sweet game/experience is low. I wanna play your super sweet game! This is insanely exciting! Thank you Polyarc for creating Moss and inspiring us ❤️
Great but short. If you're reading this review then you're probably already familiar with the moss gameplay and what the game is like. From start to finish it took me 8 hours and 50 minutes to complete the game and get all of the scrolls. There's no real reason to collect all the scrolls though because they don't do anything other than giving you a cool picture to look at in the main castle area. Also, once you beat the game there is absolutely zero replayability value. One last criticism of this game is actually quite common for a lot of VR games, where they're just too short IMO. Maybe it's just that when I was growing up I was playing games that were 20+ hours in length like the final fantasy series or dark souls. This isn't really a knock on this game, I just wish that it was a little bit longer is all. I wouldn't say that this game is worth $40, but I got it on sale for $23, and it is definitely worth that. Despite these minor complaints, I have to give this game 5 stars because for the game play that you do get, it is so fantastic that it would be an insult to give it anything less
Worth it. Book 2 is more expensive than book 1 and the first 15-30 minutes are a rehash of book 1. I choose to believe this is designed to get used to the game again after such a long break in the story. I beat the game in 3 or so days but I still immensely enjoyed every moment. The devs really took their time creating an immersive world with so much detail. This is a sitdown game but stand up, turn around, look up, down and everwhere. The details and views are incredible to see. I return to Moss every now and then to replay it and I'm sure I'll return to Moss 2 and replay it again. I hope the devs keep it up and create a 3rd book. Thanks for creating such a great game. Cheers!
An Amazing sequel ,worth your attention! Wow i had such a great time with this game. The sequel that i was waiting for had me hooked from day one. Visuals are stunning, story is great and gameplay is addictive. Took around 8-9 hours to complete, but i took my time and explored every corner and inch of this amazing expanded world, never wanting it to be over. In my opinion its much better than the original, that was great as well. I even got emotional a few times during the game, and sure you will too.
Echo all the accolades! Moss 1&2 are worth every penny and minute.
The latter puzzles toward the end in Book 2 were amazing and more entertaining than the challenges of the creatures in both books. Yet, even toward the end, those annoying creatures became “slightly” endearing.
I do wish there was more of a closure in that we got to “see” the fruits of all our trials and perilous journey. Even if it was faded animation of what had been written. Even so, the ending was exciting!
I’m sure I will play both books again. You invest a lot of time and emotion into this game and you’re not ready to say goodbye.
Like a movie or a series you’ve enjoyed so much — you watch it again and enjoy noticing so many things the second time around.
Kudos to all who had a part in making this engaging journey. Now get to work on Moss III !
No one mentions this... Ive been using VR for 5 years now and have played about 800 VR games. Id say about 500 of these are just OK while 200 are very good experiences, and about 100 being awesome. People are complaining about the price but Moss 2 is a AAA VR experience. Its a high production, high quality game and easily in the top 100 VR games available today. Id rather pay $40 for games as fantastic as Moss 2 then pay $20 for a so-so, just OK experience. Moss 2 had me continually saying "wow!" with set piece after set piece having a visual masterpiece art direction. The developers put a lot of love and detail in every direction you look...and make sure to look up because it adds that sense of scale. Lean in and see all the small details too. The sound design rivals almost every game out there. The music is fantastic and plays only when needed while all the ambient sounds surround you and put you in that space. Brilliant sound design! People dont understand that sound is more important then visuals to suck you into a game or movie. Dont believe me? Go put on a movie that has a huge battle scene and turn off the sound. It will have very little impact then watch it again with the sound. Moss 2 visuals, art style, sound quality, puzzles all mixed together to bring you a fantastic VR experience that is definitely in the top VR games made and worth the asking price! To the 2 star review. Play more then 15 minutes next time before posting such a misinformed review. Yes the 1st 15 minutes of the game seems and looks like Moss 1 however that was done to get you reacquainted with Moss. If you actually played the game just a few more minutes you would of made it 5 stars. I wish people weren't allowed to review games until at least playing 30 minutes.
(To the developers. Please make an RPG in this 3rd person view, with the same attention to detail and make it at least 10 or more hours long. )
One of my favorite games. I absolutely love this game. It is in my opinion better than the first. I love playing these games in a revolving chair. So you can freely turn and look at everything. I also enjoyed collecting all the extra stuff. It has a great story. And the game play is the best. I also like that it is a setting game. The game isn't cheap. But it is a reasonable length for a VR game. I'm looking forward for book 3. But if it was like this one. That could be two too three years off. But worth the wait. Keep it up.
