Very great game and fun. This game is really fun me and my brother played this demo and it was fun but I want the full game so I might buy it later or in a couple of days but it was such a fun game and I'm glad there is a singleplayer thing because I have no friends and I Don't have full game but I will get but for $10 very great price for this game this is a great game that it gets a 5 star I hope you guys can make more games like these like a five nights no escape 2 or a dlc it's fine if you don't make a dlc or another game but atleast this one exists
A very familiar feeling first night demo. To be honest I spent around half an hour trying to figure out if this was just fnaf 1 with a reskin or a more free roam experience or a mix of fnaf 1 2 and 3 gameplay. From what I know understand this is just fnaf one, and that’s all it is to my knowledge. The first night felt more difficult than expected and if they wanna make this stand more on it’s own then maybe adding new animatronics on newly designed nights could be fun. If I didn’t already own Help wanted then I’d probably pay $10 for the fnaf 1 experience. But since I do I think the game will fail to stand on it’s own if the comments and demo are to be believed. The game does what it sets out to do quite well though from what I know doesn’t step out of that multiplayer fnaf 1 experience. If it is more than that then feel free to correct me as the marketing of the game does not convey anything more than just the classic in multiplayer. If the game stays like just fnaf 1 then i think it’s alright, it has good environments and the hub areas look good. My issue is how much graphically is copied over, the door animation to my knowledge is ripped from Help wanted, the camera angles and character placement is identical to fnaf 1, even pirates cove looked identical from what I could tell anyway. And it’s a shame since I feel like if the game would (or maybe does if it is more than the demo implies) spread it’s wings and try to be more than just fnaf 1 then I feel like it could be so much greater. What is original in the game looks fairly good if they did (or do) take more of a PolarDread approach then I think I would have more motive to pay the $10. Since Fnaf 1 is already in vr, and pretty much the full game anyway. If it was a difficult fnaf game formula like Fnaf 3 or 4 (or something original 😅) then I think the game would have a better selling point. Maybe even a sister location approach could be great, exploring the mall which I may of forgotten the name of and the walls are hard to read due to the darkness. The game has me so conflicted to be honest, I’ve written two essays trying to figure out my thoughts on it. As a fnaf 1 experience it seems sort of fairly priced and has some nice area design. As a game it’s good! But it felt like Help wanted. And if it’s more than that then the trailer should be more gameplay focused or description be more indepth. The demo is free so you can check it out if you want. Overall if I was to describe the game with my expectations and my perception of what the game would’ve been then I feel disappointed. Maybe it’s my fault for expecting something more original but the hidden plot section and multiplayer focus made me feel it would be different. As a fnaf 1 game it’s good and seems to do everything right, but due to the fact that help wanted already exists I just don’t see the merit in a $10 fnaf 1 port with new graphics. I’m sorry this review comes off harsh but the game has me so conflicted. On sidequest someone has ported fnaf sister location and ucn to quest 2, two games that are not playable in any form on the quest 2 and maybe pcvr though I’m not in that field so idk. If they ported over a fnaf game that was already on the system then I wouldn’t be as wowed as I was playing through them. In my opinion I just feel like the concept in general is fundamentally flawed. Instead of filling a void in the market or adding onto the market, this seems to be a port into a market that has a port. Now I’ve yet to consider the multiplayer aspect of the game, and maybe it is truly great and fun for friends. But fnaf 1 multiplayer just doesn’t sound like something I personally would buy the game purely for since I have fnaf 1 in vr. This review is just a lot of ranting, I have hope that the developers can produce a fairly quality experience. But I wish/hope that that experience is a new one or more original one. Sadly I don’t think I’ll be buying the full game. Personally I just don’t think the gameplay would warrant that price for a HW owner assuming that it follows the same 6 night format. The demo’s free though so you can go check it out, it’s not a virus I promise at the time of writing this. Please make the title something other than “Horror demo” btw. Idk if that’s just on my side or something but when I first saw it I thought it was really sketchy. The comments on steam give me hope for the game’s future as they seem to address some complaints, most importantly about updates. Only time will tell if the devs go through with it or not but this could be a good base to go off of. I wish you guys good luck and I’ll try and stay up to date on the game incase something big happens
