Love this game! This game is my favorite, but it needs a desperate update. You don’t stay in the path, it takes you through buildings instead of around them. The goals you go through are way off track. Please update the game. Thx.

Unpolished game. The game is fun, it is translated into my language (Spanish) and it has things that I really like, such as raising my arms or moving my body to be able to see over buildings, it is really fun.
However, the game has a big problem, the sudden appearance of the background scenery or even the appearance and disappearance of central elements such as the enemy boss plane, even my own plane disappears at times.
On the other hand, the distant background of the stage is really bad, it looks polygonal (in a bad way, it's not part of retro graphic art).
I like the simple polygonal graphics (except the background), the "retro" style is a good option for "1941", but these graphic errors of the appearance and disappearance of objects completely spoil the experience. Furthermore, due to its graphic simplicity, it is all the more reason that there should not be this type of errors. If you make a game with these graphics, few things can go wrong, because the little that could go wrong; It has gone wrong.
I have requested the return of the game. If the developers fix this and take advantage of the graphical possibilities of the Quest3 and mixed reality, I will buy the game again and I will surely enjoy it a lot. Saving the mistakes is a good game. Meanwhile it is a big disappointment.
Wonderful game!! This is a wonderful game but..... not for an old guy as the one level, easy mode that I played is much too long. Fingers were tired from pressing the continuous shooting button and waving the controller around. I love the instantaneous movement of the airplane that made me feel like a kid zooming my plane around and ducking the slow moving bullets coming towards me. Great game. Only played one level and because of it was so long I was sweating and tired by the end of it; had to go take a nap afterwards (just kidding) but the level was long and repetitive. Perhaps there might be some variations in the next levels but I only play one level to get the gist of the game and I write a full review based on the first 30 minutes of playing which is one level. I'll still give it a 5 for a great concept of a game and the zooming of the hand held plane. Might get around to playing another level someday... but for now... too tired.

Played an hour, then it became boring. The title... game is repetitive and unpolished.
Much better than you think. I was in two minds weather to get this but I'm glad I did, great gameplay very smooth, really got that just one more go to improve score vibe.
How are there only 39 ratings for this game? That’s criminal. This game was made with genuine TLC. I was looking for a Raiden VR type game and this is it, IN SPADES.
Very Enjoyable. Simple but fun. Especially in the later levels. I wasn’t that excited about the blocky world war visuals but the game mechanic was very enjoyable. Looking forward to trying the harder difficulty settings and co-op.
Awesome. The game is fantastic and the co-op is super fun. A couple quality of life features and some bugs keep it from greatness. Correct me if I’m missing something. So I’ve been playing with less skilled younger players and when their hearts (lives) go down to zero inevitably they have to wait until I beat the entire level as I still have my hearts full. Then when the next level begins, they start out with no hearts and just enough money to heal but not get more hearts thus dying sooner in the next level than the previous one. So they end up watching me play for most of the time wich defeats the whole co-op experience. A simple fix would be to share my hearts when they loose their own. Or maybe to pool our money together. Also my daughter and I where on the third level but when I started a game with my nephew, we had to overwrite my daughters and my saved game to start a new co-op campaign. Allowing more than one save and the sharing of hearts would elevate this to greatness. Bugs: I started a new co-op campaign and my nephew had the same plane and upgrade as my daughters plane that was from our third level save but I had the starting plane and guns. After several restarts this continued until I suggested he start the game on his headset and send me an invite and that reset the planes to the starting campaign level with only two guns and full hearts. Then three times when we when into the load out screen his headset went dark and he couldn’t see so we had to reset the game three times again. This has not happened on any other game and it kept doing it only in the load out section so I know it’s not a headset issue. So between him always dying and watching me play and having to reset the game six times it ruined the play session. We love the game though so we’ll continue to play and that says something about how fun this game when it’s running as it should despite these shortcomings.please consider changing the heart thing or making it an option. Maybe as well as sharing money to help the less skilled purchase items. Thanks!!!!!!!
Update: Please fix the co-op mode. Every single time we go to start a new campaign in co-op mode one player always starts out with the airplane that was being used that has no hearts and half life, from the previous campaign. This happens continuously we cannot fix this. We’ve tried loading the game from multiple headsets and sending invites from multiple headsets but one of us always has an airplane with no hearts and halflife or wherever the airplane was from the previous campaign. It’s not resetting both profiles when we start a new campaign. Also on the airplane that is always the one from the previous game the screen constantly turns black in the load out menu which makes it unplayable at that point. This keeps happening again and again ruining the co-op. I bought this primarily for the co-op and it’s not working out. To summarize here’s what happens: We start a co-op, I host a game, my daughter chooses said game, we choose co-op campaign and we start a brand new one, and then when we get to the loadout screen her airplane crashes on the ground then her screen turns black and sometimes it turns black in mid campaign, But always in the loadout screen. Sometimes in mid game the other player can’t see the other players airplane just a Health bar as well. After the plane crashes in the loadout screen if the screen is not black she always has the previous airplane from the previous campaign with whatever state of health that plane was in. Please fix this it’s getting super frustrating. Sorry if this write up was redundant but man it’s been wasting a lot of our time dealing with this issue. The game is amazing and super fun we just want to be able to play as it was designed to be played.
Wow, fantastic game, well done ..! If you love Capcom games then you will definitely love this in Vr,what a different approach to the style of game play. Love all the 1941etc old school shoot em up's,this is great and the graphics are amazing and gameplay is addictive, which is great.
My only little issue is the collecting hoover or magnet 🧲 as sometimes your not able to collect them,as if they are to far away.
Well done developer you done an amazing job on this game, the soldiers and tanks and planes and heavy artillery, even the parachute soldiers jumping out of the big planes, there's more to come, Battleships, subs firing missiles, can't wait to get back into the game and see the other great levels and upgrade my plane and ammo. Looking forward to more games like this, like someone mentioned R-Type,maybe Gradius, Nemesis, might be great or even something like Capcom's Commando. Well worth the 9.99 price.Thank you for this great classic arcade remake in Vr.
My Review + 25% OFF. I was a bit suspicious, but ended up liking it more than expected. The checkered style gives it a charm. The game is short, but has good levels. A festival of colors when the environment fills with targets.
Amazing but glitchy. I am thoroughly pleased. The sound, graphics, and gameplay are all perfect. I got to the second level and when I finally got to the boss, I went through the back wall and ended up outside of the level without a way to get back (it didn’t warp me). I had to quit. Wasn’t motivated to jump back in again but I’ll give it another go later and hopefully not waste more time on that level. I’ll adjust my star rating once I’m able to advance
edit: playing the level again worked! Such a fun game. Pretty challenging at times even playing on normal. It’s worth every cent already and I’ve only finished four or five levels. It’s kinda hard to get things like coins with your offhand but I’m getting more used to it. Also there’s a typo in the menus that says “campaing” instead of campaign. Once they smooth out the kinks, this game will be perfect.
edit 2: okay so I got through all but the last level and it’s so fun! Updating to a five star review. Didn’t experience a single glitch since the early one. Chalk it up to just being released, which is totally forgivable. What a fun game. Even just playing through once I feel like I got my moneys worth. If you like the gameplay videos you’ll love the gameplay itself
Minecraft Spin-off?. My 8 year old granddaughter plays Minecraft, so if you’re into that, it gets 5 Stars. However, if you don’t want your right controller to be the actual aircraft instead of you flying the plane and the left controller sucking up coins and various other options, it gets a 1 Star. Reminds me of my first Atari, well actually Atari was much better. Waste of money! Then again, I didn’t review it so shame on me! https://youtu.be/4LIkp4G_Nfc

Retro gaming! 80s/90s style design will bring you back to the golden age of arcade style gaming, with a historical twist!
I absolutely love warplanes: World War I, and the sequel warplanes: battles over Pacific! This game is wonderful! But it’s something a little bit different. You are reenacting World War II battles! You fly in third person view. And as I said, it is a “bring me back to the 80s/90s“ with a modern era style… VR! I am not joking when I say that it is exciting, first of all because you’re in actual World War II battles, but also the way the devs designed this game.
The flying and steering are very well done. steering and battling is done with the right controller, while you reap your rewards with the left controller. It is easier on the stomach than trying to get used to the motion intensive flying of a few other flying battle games, which is a nice change. Although I love those games, it took me several tries to get acclimated to being in the cockpit. Unless you are extremely sensitive you shouldn’t have that problem with wings 1941.
Honestly, this game was a no-brainer for me. If you’ve ever played Anshar 2: hyperdrive, the third person space combat game, for which you can see my review also, it is similar because of the view that you play from. But of course in this game you are in the atmosphere and fighting an infamous foe!
For those of you who enjoy flying without the motion sickness, or if you are interested in World War II, and enjoy retro gaming or not, I would definitely say go for it!
A wonderful experience. I think this game is honestly great with two minor issues, the gameplay and presentation is really well done, I think the idea of one hand for the plane and one for the purpose of collecting is great, and I really like the choice of pixel/ voxel graphics fits the gameplay.
Here’s a couple issues;
* when In seated mode it is occasionally hard to avoid the terrain around your plane because you are by default lower to the ground
* the method of collecting coins/ chests/weapons/power up-items is generally solid but it can be easy to miss them occasionally or for your hand to be at the exact right angle to collect.
I suggest a method so that any collectables not picked up are worth half as much or if it is a power up/ weapon, have the power up have less of an effect and if it’s a weapon have it stay in same spot for easier pick up. Again this is just a suggestion as other reviewers said similar comments.
But even with these minor issues I completely recommend this game and think anyone who enjoys arcade shooters or modern shooters as well as rouge likes/ lites will enjoy this game.
People surprise me lol 25% OFF. I was looking for a retro, arcade flying game and this was exactly what I was looking for. I haven’t played it yet but can instantly tell from the trailer this was something I wanted and I just had to buy because there’s hardly any recent purchases and it’s a shame. The lower ratings for this game are mind boggling. One person says it’s not a sim with Minecraft graphics and the other person says it’s like a 32 bit Atari. (Atari was 8bit) and this has better graphics than (PS1 32bit) Resolution wise. And this is coming from older generation and you’d think they would appreciate the retro graphics.?! They must of not read the title of the game or even looked at the trailer lol. Anyway this looks AWESOME! Can’t wait to play it.
People use the 25% OFF down below and purchase. Type it in your browser. Sick of people missing out on hidden gems.
