Relaxing and fun. I really enjoyed this game because it was so different ( and the $6.99 sale price was too good to pass up). The visuals were good and I definitely had to think some things through. I do wish there was a full walkthrough on the web. When I couldn’t solve level 9 I contacted customer service who sent me a video clip.
I would also suggest that you can pick up where you left and not have to start the whole level again.
This game needs voice acting. Find a couple friends to act out the dialog and add more story. Otherwise its a very slow boring marble balance game with very little story. Shame because It had potential. I thought is was going to be more like Table of Tales.
Innovative mechanics and a fun story. This game is a really cool experience, especially if you played with little marlble labyrinths as a kid. You travel through the world using similar mechanics to the old fashioned toy, but interact with the world in a way that reminded me a bit of moss… fairly basic story based on King Arthur and Guinevere but fits the gameplay well and serves its purpose of giving you reasons to travel through the world. Not quite a AAA experience but for the price you really can’t beat this title!
Innovatove and Well Adapted. It was a surprise how well applied physics were in this game, simple but grandioso !! I wish more games like this and not all the time first person shooters.
If there was a Zelda I wish it was like this concept.
Unique and fun experience! Just purchased this gem yesterday. So far I'm really enjoying this beautiful game. The artwork and puzzles in this game work perfectly. The story grips you in as you go further in the forest searching for the king. Every level provides something new and challenging that makes progressing through the game so much fun. For the price of only 9.99 you can't go wrong with this title.
Surprised. Wasn't sure about this game although I thought it looked cute. I went a head and got it. So glad I did. What a hidden gem. I have only played about 30 minutes so don't know how long the game last but I had to write a review. Very impressed!Very different game play. Graphics are nice and smooth. Controls are great. Very nice get lost in game and puzzle. Well done! Can't wait to get back to it!!
A Knight in the Attic. This game is a cute idea. The puzzles are fairly easy, however the interaction is glitchy and clunky. It is slow to respond to your movement. I have reached out to the developer through email and discord and have received no response. If you enjoy frustration this is the perfect game for you.
Deceptively simple. I didn't think there would be much to this at first but the price was irresistible. It does start out pretty simple but with a unique charm. I'm up to level 8 now and the puzzles are stepping up in cleverness. If they don't become very frustrating, I suspect I'll be left wanting more when I finish the game.
Great to pick up even if you have limited time. The levels aren't too long. I should add I'm playing with the joystick which, as another reviewer said, doesn't detract from enjoying it (I'm not a huge fan of this marble mechanic to start with).
A surprise, and a fun one so far. My first impressions weren’t good.
Initially the game had a slightly primitive presentation that made me fear that this would be yet another unsatisfying indie game with good ideas but without the technical prowess to execute them properly.
The premise of the game is very clever. You have to roll a little marble person through an adventure inside a magic toy that you discovered in your grandmother’s attic.
Unless something changes for the worse, it looks like the developers had the technical skills to pull it off.
A few minutes into the game I was smiling and having fun. The graphics are quite pleasant once the game gets going.
I’ve seen only one minor technical issue so far. There is a brief slowdown when dropping a new level into the box. The music also ends after a short while in each level, but I don’t know if this is intentional or a glitch. Either way it doesn’t bother me so I hesitate to call it a technical issue.
The basic “roll a marble through a maze by tilting the box” mechanic works very well and feels just like the real thing.
Some other object manipulations are a bit clunky, (I don’t want to say what they are to avoid spoilers), but after a little fiddling and practice they work fine.
This is more of an action game than a puzzle game which was a surprise. However it’s so enjoyable I found that to be a pleasant surprise. (There are some puzzles and they’re occurring more frequently, so the puzzle aspect may get more challenging over time.)
I’ll update my review after I’ve completed the game and adjust the score if necessary. I think it may end up warranting a five star review, especially considering its low price.
Roll into Camelot. This game took me by surprise. I was expecting an easy, fun, cute game like The Curious Tales of the Stolen Pets, but I got much more.
The game takes place in Camelot, where you play as Guinevere to save the kingdom. Here is where the game gets interesting and really fun.
You don't move the character around like you would in a normal platformer type game. Instead you roll them around the world like a marble. Think of one of those old marble boxes, where you had to roll the marble through a labyrinth without falling in any holes.
This really adds a fun challenge to a cozy game. The hand controls on the box feel amazing, it's like holding the real thing.
This is also a game you want to show your friends and stream to the TV. Everyone watching me play wanted a turn to jump in and see if they could face the rolling challenges.
Cute litte game with good ideas. Cute little game with great ideas for interacting with the game board and the character Guinevere. Controlling the character works great. At the beginning, it's fun and interesting to control the game board by tilting and holding it, but I quickly switched to using the joystick - which doesn't detract from the fun. The puzzles start off easy and become more complex as the story and chapters progress, but they are never really difficult and rarely challenging, but - and this is very good - never frustrating or unfair. The execution is charming. The little world is beautifully designed, the ideas for interaction fit very well in VR and are well implemented.
I felt entertained throughout the entire game. However, there is still the feeling that more could be done in terms of puzzle depth, story arc, music, combat, traps, (hidden) collectibles, etc.
For puzzle enthusiasts and the low price, in my opinion, it is worth picking up without hesitation.
So much fun. I went into this thinking it might be just another maze game, but for $10 I would gladly try it. After about 10 minutes I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly hooked. The only reason I didn’t finish the game in one sitting is because I really need to get some sleep. This game is absolutely worth checking out
Frustrating…FIX BEE 21 GATE GEAR! Gear doesn’t show up properly to use and get past level/spot
why can’t you actually start where you leave off? You have all the blue placemarker spots that it shoots you back to if you run into something and mess up it puts you back to but if you stop the game and are not at a full game break chapter, you have to REDO THE WHOLE LEVEL!
