Let’s be honest…. Most of us will never break into houses in real life but now because of this amazingly fun game, anyone can be a thief! The thrill of sneaking around in the homes and robbing them blind is such a rush and keeps me coming back for more.
I purchased the “everything bundle” and I suggest you do the same because once you start thieving you won’t want to stop. I just started the story in Ritchie R street and the houses there definitely have bigger ticket items and homes than the first map of Greenview St. I started the game 5 days ago and I haven’t even played another game since I’ve started this one. It’s so addicting and the replay ability is endless as there are so many ways of robbing the homes. I haven’t made it to the motel yet but if it’s anything like the first 2 maps I know it’ll be just as amazing.
From what I can gather, the developers are constantly updating the game and are committed to keeping the game fresh which is impressive because there are so many devs that publish a game and then abandon it. This definitely is not the case with Thief Simulator.
Gameplay is great…the amount of items you can interact with in a house is insane for the Quest platform. I also love the fact that you learn skills to advance your criminal career and that there are a ton of side missions that keeps the game fresh.
I am so happy I gave this game a chance because, as of now, it is my favorite game to play. Bravo, developers…you have made a masterpiece and I really appreciate your commitment to making this game the best it can be with the frequent updates you provide. I would totally buy another map DLC should you choose to make one!
Dev please read this!! Thief simulator vr is the best pc to standalone game out there and I love it! Anyway I have a suggestion to make or you could say it’s a question, are you working on an industrial st DLC? You know where the Lombardis blow up your garage and you steal all of there stuff and blow up there mansion, and also in addition to that the hacking laptop and hacking laptop pro, like the actual ending to the pc game and stuff. That will be cool!
Amazing but…. I think the game is great but can you try and make multiplayer robberies? I think this would be a great addition to the game to play with your friends and to rob stuff and be the bosses of all crime
Best game port to vr. This is the only vr game port that was done correctly. All fun no grind, best way to play. Built like the good games in ~2010 with the general looseness and humor a game is supposed to have.
Best of the best. I've been playing this game so much and enjoying more than any other game I have, and in the year I had my vr, this is soon to be my first 100% completed game (storyline, im on the last mission) I can't wait for new features and to see what the electronic upgrades are going to be. Anyway, thank you for this amazing game and all my love to the developers.
Edit: A question for the developer: Will there ever be a difficulty setting because I want more pain while playing this game, and will there ever be a sequel to this? Thanks.
EditPt2: I finished the game :( Is it possible to get car upgrades for our car? Like more storage with less speed or vice-versa.
The most sneaky and best game! Thief simulator, after having it for 1 month it has been a new challenge. The gears the skills ain't staying broke if we make it inside! Well, the pawnshop has the worst jokes. But anyways we ain't staying broke!

so funnn. it’s a really really fantastic game in my opinion i’m hoping one day the developers will add some sort of a mod menu in there for players to have fun and explore and experience different mods with the game but overall amazing game good job!!!!
Wonderful. Loved this game quite fun to sneak into peoples houses might have to look into it as a career hehe. For the base game without the new dlcs tho felt like they’re were to little houses and I was just going to the same houses again to level up but that might just be me. Gonna give it a 9/10

m not into shooter games an more into adventure games so I took a chance on this game. I'm having so much fun! I love that you can drive a car. I've only gotten as far as having 2 lock picks so maybe Level 4.. I've been busted and I've been able to get away from the police. I can't wait to try the add on.
BUT--- I've notice a couple things. I was casing a house an 2 of the residents walking outside were glitching. They were walking in place. I went up to them to get them to stop but as soon as I walked away, they were stuck again. I think time goes by a bit too fast too. I have 2 hours to do a job but time goes by too fast. Also, it said no one home between noon and 3p but someone was there. I was in a dumpster hiding for literally 10 minutes(not game minutes) and the police were still right by me. Are they suppose to stay there? Also, is the clock suppose to read zero at noon as well as midnight? Noon says A.M. And finally, when I went into a dumpster or under the bed, I was in the ground or something and I couldn't get out so I had to leave the game and go back in which erased all I did. Very frustrating. Hope that gets fixed.
In the short time playing, I'm having lots of fun with or without glitches. I think you game makers did a very good job. Would be nice if the people were all different and didn't look the same. Anyway, I'm enjoying playing and never thought I could be a good thief..ha ha

Sooooooooooooooooooooo GOOD BUT THERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT I DON’T LIKE 1 I wish there were some cars that u can keep like a Ferrari that would be great 2 it would be cool if when u ring the doorbell and the people actually come and answer3i love how they keep making new maps like the motel and riche r st 4 I also think that u can own like a house the garage is ok buuuuuuuuuuuttt…5 please consider my suggestions :) I going to bye the motel soon and then get the riche r st but also I have thought up a few more suggestions 1i think it might be cool if u could put on a disguise and pertend there somebody else and Odd jobs and secretly steal stuff and when I was on yesterday I saw a billboard and a junk yard is a Awesome idea and maybe it can be the dude at the pawnshop cousin 2 you should be able to rob a Bank and then have the police come and chase you in a car cuase yea
It’s a pretty great game! 💙. (Updated thoughts below) I really liked my time with it for the most part, I’ll start with the negatives first however. The post story stuff made me pretty frustrated 😅, I can’t exactly remember what specifically did but it highlighted how I wasn’t a fan of the police ai. It doesn’t feel the most polished compared to other games I’ve played. The ai has always felt a bit simple for mw at least when I last played, and certain missions (mainly the post story stuff) can be sort of annoying. But it does fulfill that thief urge, i had a good deal of fun with the main story. I have yet to see the Richie street stuff but if it’s more story and house stuff then It’s likely good stuff. I like how you unlock new equipment to help you break in or enter houses, as a rougelike player that progression is something I crave. The main guy who gives the missions, Vinnie I believe?, is quite fun . The stealing stuff feels pretty fun when your into it. The update with the extra box in the car was so well needed I am very glad was added. Some of the big object storing in the car can feel a bit annoying for me but that’s only since I don’t scan what size the item is before I bring it all the way out to the car. Overall It’s not the most polished but I quite enjoyed my time with it and I’m comfortable putting the game down and picking it back up sometimes later. For a quick channel recommendation I would TheNamesMonte. He’s mainly known for his thief simulator stuff and is a really fun watch. And has been sponsored by the devs of this game himself! Anyway you did a pretty good job 3R Games! 💙 it may not be the best, but it’s something I’m pretty glad to have gotten. (Updated thoughts as of 1/12/24) I’m loving the graphical change that happened since I last played. The houses look a lot more alive. The police also seem to leave sooner which is a great change as that was definitely the most boring part of the game 😅. I really appreciate all the updates even to the base game that the game receives. It makes it fun to see what has changed since I last played and I admire the dedication to the game. I’ll put in another main review part here when I finish/get mostly through a second play through with my full updated thoughts. The game looks a lot better though the fog can feel like a bit much. The visuals work best when your just thieving around and not looking off into the distance and all that. Anyway, I think the current game deserves around a 4.7-4.8 now after all the new additions. I wouldn’t call it a must play like one or two other games I’ve played but if it interests you at all you should really give it a try. I think this game has a bright future ahead of it, and I’m very glad 3R games is making meaningful updates to it. One thing I would recommend though is a big in-depth change log since to my knowledge there isn’t one in-game? Correct me if I’m wrong on that, the newspaper on the floor of the title screen would be a good spot for it I’d imagine either through text or read out loud. Great job 3R Games! 💙
Danger 😈. This game is a legend, but there’s one thing- danger. You should have it so they need to pull out a phone to call the cops, giving you enough time to WHACK EM so they don’t. If we could knock people out? It would make it easier, and more fun.
