LOVED this Short Game!! I’m new to VR and saw this game. It’s short 1-2 hours and super cute. Helped me to learn the basics of VR movement. Loved the story and the graphics. Also taught me ways to overcome the nausea I was feeling using vr. Basically, had to keep my calves touching the couch so I had continuous bearings the real world, and then had to move my feet in place gently to give the brain the idea that the body was moving with what I was seeing in vr. Sitting made the nausea worse as I think the brain was confused by the conflicting message of interpreting movement but the body was not moving.
I’ll play any games these guys make. Great for family!!!
Beautiful. This was also my first game in VR, so did help with learning it, the scenery was awesome did wish it was a little long to enjoy it more, was astonished with very huge then life Robert at the end through did like why wish it actually had put more then 1 dollar towards the fund would even have paid 5 more just to see at least 5 go towards the fund. Thank you all for producing this marvel.
You could wish more from movement. Teleport and turning often conflicts, and there are other glitches. You also can't solve it sitting down all the time. But an ok story.
Horrible glitches... What a mess... turning often doesn't work like it's supposed to. The climbing is horrible, often resulting in glitches or falling randomly, I even had situations were I fell endlessly and had to shut off the game, and because it doesn't save any progress, had to start that horrible section again. Today I even had a thing where the climbing glitched so much I suddenly rose up in the sky, way above everything, then slowly fell down and ended in limbo, again having to reboot. And I tried again, this time my teleport logo was stuck, so couldn't go anywhere.... should be able to walk down the stairs, but could only do it by teleporting and that broke... Bad programming... and I really tried to like this... but what a mess.. and not even an option to refund anymore, as I tried to like this game, but the timeframe was up...
Very short but I enjoyed it. The video preview and screenshots look dark and muted, but in game the visuals and environments are beautiful and immersive. The simple puzzles offer an invitation to explore, climb, interact with musical plants and animals, and soak up the gentle, peaceful atmosphere. The soundtrack includes soothing jungle sounds and beautiful music.
An additional quest is mentioned right before the game ends, which makes the ending feel unexpected and abrupt. Perhaps it was meant to be a teaser for a future game.
It feels good to know that 5% of proceeds go to support wildlife conservation, which is highlighted in a brief video presentation by Robert Irwin partway through the game.
Despite being simple and short, I found it enjoyable and memorable. Thanks ROTU.
More like this please! Everything felt magical! I loved exploring the interactive surroundings and truly feeling “in it.” It was sweet, gentle, I love that there was no violence. Did wish it was longer, though. The VR world needs more otherworldly magical uplifting experiences. Not more darkness. Thanks developers!
Maybe sequels?. I absolutely loved everything about the game. The story, the graphics, the gameplay, the mechanics, all of it. But it left something to be desired after. Like I want to know/see more of it. The ending feels like a cliffhanger that would make me curious and wanting more.
To be honest if sequel/sequels were made I would buy them in a heartbeat to know more of the mysteries that were left behind
Cute…I am sure lovely things are to come. I really enjoyed this game…the aesthetic was nice, the game play was fairly simple, but what is more promising is that it can be seen where the future of this kind of gaming is going. Without putting game developers weights up too much, you can see spectacular landscapes/gamescapes, creatures and characters being crafted that will be profoundly compelling…perhaps more than non-extended reality!
Not good for sitting. It says that you can play it while sat down. But I'm unable to as I'm below everything. It looks a good game otherwise but unable to interact with it as to low and there is no way to adjust height like other games
Just a demo. The $9 version is just a 20 minute demo that thanks you at the end for donating to an Australian wildlife organization. Gameplay was ok, the scenery was nice. Fairly easy puzzles.
Ionia. This game was extremely hard to follow and their were no clues or direction. I had no clue what to do. I got irritated and uninstalled it. My 15 yr old couldn’t even figure it out. It was really dark and hard to make anything out. Didn’t like it at all.
