This game is the best VR game. i got this game and was immdeiately obsessed. you can swordfight people, use magic and sorcerer abilities, and one of the best aspects is how moddable the game is. there are many amazing mods that make the game really fun and i always have a blast with them. this game will get you hooked immediately. thank you warpfrog, i am so excited for crystal hunt to come out.

You can get mods through nexus, and they just make it a whole lot better. This game lets you do a whole bunch of stuff, throw people off cliffs, slit their throats from behind, put them on a hook, and then again, you have even MORE options with mods.
If you are looking for a good mod to get right now, I recommend the dire wand, it adds a whole bunch of stuff to add to sorcery.
If you are looking to buy a beautiful fighting game, get blade and sorcery.
Not sure how to download mods for this. I absolutely LOVE this game. It's fun as hell, and it's probably one of the best VR games out there. The issue is though, I'm not sure how to install mods for it. All the tutorials are for Steam versions or they are only for Nomad, so I'm not sure how to get mods for this. If anyone could help me out, that would be great.
One of the best games in vr. This in my personal opinion is one of the best vr games on the oculus store, not only does this game have a great mod support system where you can get vibrant and great mods, the fighting, the graphics the setting, everything is to be expected from a game about combat. I promise that most people who are wanting to try the game will have as great of a time as i have had (and still having) in this experience.
Mods = yes. I installed this game along with many mods and now I do not want walking dead saints and sinners if I can be Vergil in a sword combat game. Mods from Nexus and I just paste the folders to streaming assets and the mods folder in blade and sorcery files
Immersive. I purchased this game because I had seen Youtube videos about it and I don't regret it. It feels so much better than in a video, this game has so much possibilites to explore and will let you feel like you are in the game. For example, i came across a "butcher hook" and I was like "No way I can do what I'm thinking", I think this guy is still hanging from it. So there are a lot of chances that what you want to do is possible. And even if it's not, there are a lot of mods online (I recommend Nexus Mods, it's the biggest mods site) that are super easy to install.
However, there is still a lack of gamemodes. You have access to Sandbox and Dungeons which is a little bit repetitive. Yes there's this Gem Rush gamemode that has been teased but it's getting long.
I'd not be happy if i didn't have this. This is the best game on vr. I literally don't care how much it costs. I love the gore and violence, but add more to the gore. Like the gore should actually have organs. I understand this is in development, but still amazing. I'd bored as heck if i didn't have this game. I've been playing for atleast.... 1,127 hours? (46.95833333333333 days.) (Mod Page: Nexus) Suggestions: Add more to the gore. I want to rip organs out of their body and cut'em in half. Fix the choking, like maybeee add them not like opening and closing their mouth 24/7. Blood should stay longer, and make it so you can pour potions into a cup or something. Imbues should stay on if it's like a tier 4, and imbues do NOT last long on tier 1's and 0's. Dismemberment should make it so it's not a insta'kill. Very annoying though. Onnneeeee last thing, add a teleport device for the right controller in the book thingy, and only works on land, not in mid-air. Thank you, WarpFrog Studios.
One of the best vr games made so far! The game is absolutely amazing! There is a ton of interactivity and detail in this game. The devs are constantly doing their best to make an immersive and fun vr swords fighter and they succeed. I honestly can't stress enough how amazing and talented these people are! Warpfrog's motto is "underpromise and overdelive" which is just such a great thing to go by. The game has a huge modding community and the devs embrace it making the game so much better. The combat feels very real and visceral like, "I just stabbed that guy in the face!" Even the out of combat moments feel real and like theres so much you can do. Overall an amazing game that deserves lots of support and attention. It makes me and many others very excited about the example that this sets for future vr games and what they may accomplish. So if you like fantasy and sword fighting, buy it. But if you're disturbed by blood and gore, I would suggest looking somewhere else.
T*ts up, heads off. One of the best VR melee combat games to exist. The base game alone is a heap of fun but where this game truly shines is within the deep, deep depths of the modding community, gathering thousands and thousands of game altering mods that dramatically improve each and every aspect of the base game, not to mention the overabundance of crazy weapon mods you can find to take your brutality to the next level. The core gameplay is simple, but so effective in what it sets out to achieve.
If you're looking for a brilliant melee combat sim to satisfy your need for brutality then look no further.

5/5. Oh yah everybody giving this game 1/5 star please stop being haters there is going to be glitches there is not a single game that doesn’t have at least a small glitch and there company isn’t perfect they can’t just fix everything in a snap.
Great game, Never seems to amaze me. I have this Game for almost 2 years. And it just doesn't seems to amaze me everytime. it doesn't get boring. You can do so much in this game. and with mods it just keeps going. you can make your dreams real in this game. literally everything is possible. This is the definition of a Great game. 5 stars for me!
This is some of the most fun in VR. Hell, it is some of the most fun I've had in general. With mod support this game only gets better and better. Even vanilla version is amazing. Nothing like grabbing someone by the wrist, slapping their hand on wood then shoving a dagger through their hand getting them stuck to the wood. Physics are great, graphics are decent... content is a bit lackluster though. We need more weapons, hopefully a story/siege mode including protecting fortresses, and for the love of God, please better looking blood. This is decent, but not much more than a red dust/mist
Update (2022): The game is in a great looking state, and still the best melee physics in VR. The blood is looking better, but the absolute best would be one I saw from a mod a while back that added dripping and bleeding effects based on where they were hit. Made it look like that game Overgrowth and it was amazing but it doesn't work with new versions. Would love a feature like that
Good Soup! This game is gotta a childs dream, and with the blood, the fighting, and arsenal of weapons, you might find your self bloodlusted or attracted like a moth and some light, the modding is also fun and a bit annoying but if it works it works. I Recomend for people who love medieval fighting and that want a Vr game.
Incredible. This game is so much fun, and it is obvious how much work the development team puts into it. The dungeons feature is so fun to play as it creates completely random and new levels every time, adjusted to your liking. Overall, incredibly fun to play, so many interesting mechanics, and if you love vr fighting games, you have to get this one...you won't regret it.
Best sword fighting experience in vr. This game is fantastic for its improved visuals, fun magic mechanics, and sword play. I would argue that this is the top of the market for games that allow you to duel with medieval bows, swords, and shields. Jumping, movement, and combat all feel really smooth.
I hope to see some single player dungeons similar to the sample currently out in the nomad version of the game. It would be really fun to see some new locations, have some form of progression, and collectibles.
Also, because we can climb in the game, it would be nice to have some form of better indication when I am gripping something to climb.
We have gotten new weapons over time. If I was asked what weapon I hope they added to the game, I’d actually say no weapon, but a tool instead. It would be incredible if the developers somehow added a grappling hook that when it attaches just has you hang from. When pulling down fast on the controller, it could shoot you upwards slightly higher then the attached part to get onto the surface you grappled.
I am well aware that a grapple hook isn’t that big of a deal, but think about the combos, the methods of sneaking in the dungeons mode, and the better ability to climb because that is where the game has the biggest weakness. I also believe this isn’t overpowering us as a character either, but instead offering new ways to enjoy this awesome game.
best vr fighting experience you can get. Way better then any other game for vr imo. Boneworks has nothing on this at all and its not even a finished game yet. The fighting is better then boneworks and many other vr fighting games it is the superior game for vr. if you have vr this is a must pick aswell as the modding commmunity being amazing.
Roll back to U9! If you're thinking of getting this game roll back to U9.3, U10 and U11 beta are fundamentally broken, telekinesis, keeps breaking, has since u10, enemies constantly stuck in the floor/walls, has since u10, weapon keeps dropping out of my hand, instead of adding more crap how about fixing the game first?, what was once a lot of fun is now rage inducing frustration, stick with U9.3 if you still wanna enjoy the game

Endless Fun. Better than "AAA" games by a whole hecking heck of a lot. Blade and Scorcery is without a doubt the game you'll spend the most time playing. Once you master fighting in VR it only gets more enjoyable. SOon enough you'll feel like some "Chosen One" capable of powering through any number of enemies. Easy to play, fun to master. _And even more fun once mastered. Mods make this game an easy 11/10.
