Good but its missing something... This game is missing a vital aspect to game of this caliber, This game needs frequent updates and more hero selection! They sould also add villians so if you get bored of playing hero you can switch to the darkside. Personally I think if they did more frequent updates added villians and maybe a mode that allows player versus player would be really cool.
Abandoned hope. Game never gets updates and you can only play as heroes not villians, their is a nice variety of heroes tho and alternate appearances and unlockables to be earned and the idea of the gameplay isn't bad just needs more maps and diff objective ideas and stuff but the game feels abandon and like has no hope cus it never gets updated and no 1 plays it so you're always playing alone, it really needs more updates and attention to make it cool and let us play as villians also, I want to be venom! Then the game would be solid and make a lot of money!
Great but flawed. I've had this game for a while. I picked it up while it was on sale and I have loved it ever since. The gameplay is pretty repetitive... with it being more or less an enemy wave-based co-op game. When I first started playing the game I wound up getting teamed up with some pretty young kids who were pretty obnoxious. I got lucky with most games, however, and had some great match ups with some fun players of varying ages. The matchmaking kept getting more and more difficult when it came to finding players... so I wound up giving up and uninstalling. Months later I fondly recalled the game and decided to reinstall it and revisit it. I have had it installed for 2 or 3 days now, and every time I've queued it up I have not been able to find anyone to play with at all. Playing solo just isn't as much fun as having real players coordinating their efforts in a match. The lack of active players combined with the fact that there is seemingly nothing being added to this game in terms of add-on content is terribly disappointing.
If there is anyone out there who still plays and wants some company, hmu!

They tried, but failed. Ok so let me get this straight, they say “other iconic characters” in the description and they have Ronan the accuser and not iron man.... yeah I remember Ronan being more iconic than iron man for sure.
Falls Short of epic. This game had great intentions. I agree with most reviews in that they killed the game with lack of new content. Developers made a game to be played as multi-player and co-op but failed to introduce new and most requested iconic heroes. After they added some decent upgrades to the gameplay that added some depth and challenge to a multi-player experience but makes the game to hard for a single player with poor AI support. This game has been abandoned and will leave you playing the same predicable levels over and over in a single player experience. They missed the oppertunity to offer challages anf upgradablity to single player games, better heroes and villians, boss stages or fights, individual story modes for each charactor, new and more excitting levels, and the ability to play as villians would have given the game a much needs twist in game play experience. Lastly the Final stage and boss was far to easy and leaves you with a sense of incompletion.
The Most Unforgivable Cash Grab by Devs. I bought this game when it came out, almost 2 years ago. I am a Marvel Fanatic, and hearing about this game is why I decided to by my Rift CV1. I loaded up the game and played the prologue, and if I would have reviewed the game right after that, I would have given it 5 stars and said it was a masterpiece!
Then.. I played the actual game.
To call this a Marvel game is such false advertising that it should be a crime. Yes, some Marvel characters are in here, and you can play as them, but that is where the ties to Marvel end. In this game, you can play as a handful of popular Marvel characters, and enter a small wave shooter arena where an endless army of Hydra agent, Ultron robot, or Skrull spawn in and try to destory your Mcguffin while you defend it. ( Seriously, would you call Fortnite a Marvel game because you can play as Deadpool and Captain America? No.. cause you're still just playing Fortnite!! ...P.S. Dont play Fortnite...)
Anyway, back to the game.... That is all.
The fact that this has 4 stars, yet you can literally wait in the lobby for an hour and NEVER find another player dumb enough to play with you, tells you that all these reviews were made by people after they played for 10 minutes. Because at that point, its kinda fun. But when you realize there is nothing more to come, and that there was never any plan to update this game with new characters or missions by the devs, this very expensive game will sit in your library collecting virtual dust.
I love Marvel. And for every Marvel fan who has yet to fall victim to this cash grab, I know it looks fun, but seriously save your money. Get the free Spiderman Far From Home experience and swing around the city for a half hour. THat is far more content than youll get here. If this game ever goes on sale, (it never does) and you can get it for $10 or something, try it out and tell me I'm wrong. Or be honest and leave your own review to help out our fellow true believers from making the same mistake we did.
