Experience the New Game Mode Fire Fight! A dynamically designed 6v6 PVP mode where each side will set up two Fire Teams and one player on each fire team will be assigned as the Corpsman. The Corpsman is the only team member who can help bring back critically injured players back to the battlefield using the new equipment item, defibrillators.
it's very good. but I would add the collision with other users, bots and walls both with weapons and with the body, but beyond this it is the perfect game.
Very Fun. It’s a very fun game, and the recent updates have been keeping it alive and well. I like just messing around in a free roam lobby or a shooting range lobby instead of the team based game modes. But when I do play the team based game modes they are pretty fun. Though I do wish the settings menu was a little bit easier to read, and I wish there they would add better movements for players that sit down and play.
Great. For those people who open the game to a black screen, open the oculus app on the PC, go to setting > general and change open XR runtime to oculus to fix the issue.
best milsim ever 👍. absolutely my favourite VR game, some people complain about kids playing the game? there's loads of them playing, obviously if you join lobbies for kids they'll be there, assault, escort, shooting range, lots of kids there but if you join lobbies for adults like - competetive uplink you'll find that there's very few kids there and the ones that are accepted in these lobbies are much better gamers than most and smarter than most adults, anyone complaining about kids - join a team, partake in competetive gaming, play league matches in private lobbies, if you're annoyed and can't deal with the fact that kid is better then you and outsmarted you in pub lobby its your problem and blaming everything and everyone is a bit sad,
The GREATEST game on oculus. If you dont want to read an entire paragrph let me shorten this up. If you like social and/or tactical games GET THE GAME! After having to leave PCVR with its better graphics, I have been on quest, and they aren't actually as horrible as people say. Sure they aren't the best, but being built for quest 1, they are decent. The game brings goofiness, and taticalness together, which makes it incredible. The community is a solid 9/10, as there are some children (that I am suprised that know how to fire a virtual gun), which is to be expected from any game. The customizations in this game make it INCREDIBLE, for example, you can put a 12x scope on a small assult rifle. There's everything from balistic sheilds, C4's, molotovs, and night vision. Competitive leages and groups, to casual free roam with friends. There are an incredible amount of creative maps that are very easily accesed. I could go on for hours of why this game is so good. Save yourself time from looking through reveiews and spend your money on this wonderful game.
Awesome. I don't know why there is a difference but when you download it on the PC and you play it with the oculus the game looks 10x's better. It's an amazing game and I love it
Terrible AI kills PvE. The overall shooting experience is fine and it's definitely one of the better realistic shooters in VR. The issue is that AI doesn't even remotely act realistically. If you shoot once (even with a silencer) every enemy in the map will swarm to you. They will just walk in your direction, never taking cover nor acting strategically, queued up in a straight line. At the higher difficulty levels it's the same thing, except they have aimbot.
Potentially great game marred by incredibly basic AI. Complaints have been made and acknowledged by the team for years with no change.
Blackscreen after loadingscreen. I really really love this game but i can't play it on my pc and i asked for advice on the reddit, 500 views. no response. it really sucks
Stay away. I strongly recommend staying away from this game. It was a world class fps, with some bugs, but far far less then current when it was only on pc. I would have made the same choice as DPI and ported to Quest. Its a no brainer, but their work was only the start of what they needed to do. It was only 20% of what the old PC build use to be. Over the next few years, updates contained very little content and just damaged core parts of the game that further added more and more bugs. They never addressed any existing bugs or took advice from community feedback. The current point system is absolute trash. Its hard just taking a flash as a volk. It is far far less strategic. I use to be able to use a c4 and a flash. Now it is just run and gun. Movement system actually makes me sick now. Its really wonky. Direction is based on off hand, but speed is limited by where you look so you have to look forward. It just makes you have head based loco, but in the most tortuous of ways - either check your angles crawling or commit to just running without looking and shoot at whats in front of you. Its very stop and go, sluggish and cant look around while moving. Very awkward and uncomfertable. Disapointing since Onward once pinioned off hand based loco, how far have they fallen. Long distance shots are gimped with the horizonal recoil, just does not make sense to do them anymore, even tapping seems to start off where the recoil built up to. So now its a mid range to cqc gams. If just seems like after they launched the port and made bank, they stopped fixing their game and just rearranged what was there. Even less seemed to happen once Meta bought DPI. It was like they all decided to put their feet up and take a nap while their game rotted from a compatative masterpeice to expoits corrnor. Stay away from the game, there are many other fps - contractors, breachers.... Go to them, dont waste your time.
Used to be the best... This game is great and pulled together a great community. However, the devs stopped caring about the community and more about the money. Essentialy, the devs sold the game to meta quest, basically reducing the graphics and causing major errors for true virtual reality enthusiats, pc vr. They really left us in the dust ,the pc community, not valuing the opinions of the ones who bought their game in the first place. It is dissapointing that I am writing this review as now I have to play in lobbies filled with annoying children and crappy graphics. THANK YOU ONWARD DEVS!!!!!!!

昔の方が良かった。でも、1.7を削除してしまったのは残念だ。

Old was better. The ruined the game dont get me wrong its a good game but the got rid of 1.7 Thats a bummer still llike the game but we need 1.7 back.
Only reccomended for PCVR. This game is crossplay with quest, however, the quest versions of these game looks like a PS1 game, but that would be an insult to the PS1. However, The PCVR version looks stunning, older PCVR players say that the graphics got downgraded when the quest version had to come out which made the game look worse on PCVR, yet, these current graphics still look good, and its a fun game, but i just cannot reccomend if you're going to play this natively on quest.
A problem with this game is also its animation, everyone that is a player walks hurrendously through out these maps as if they had an accident in their pants, this affects PCVR and quest users, when you spectate someone it isnt animated properly either, it looks very odd and just plain weird, and considering Pavlov (shack beta) on quest looks and has better anims and is FREE just feels wrong that Onward is being sold at a much higher price than free. it doesn't really change up the gameplay that much if the animations were different but it would be nice to see.
The AI in this game is a pretty big problem as well, the AI only appear in Co-op, yet they aren't that good, i've heard apparently before the quest update the AI was smarter and more fun to play with. The only plus i can think with these NPCs is that they have decent animations to go with them. On rookie difficulty the AI are extremely easy, im talking 128 duo easy. However, the absolute millisecond you deside to bump it up to experienced, veteran or even elite, you will have a living nightmare. In experienced they feel more like what veteran should be, they react fast, and have good accuracy. The thing is, theres not a single option inbetween rookie and experienced, lets say for example your slightly experienced at the game, like, played for 2 months experienced, so you decide to boot up onward and play some experienced since your "much" better than what you were before, you're going to have a bit of a challenge... Right? Well you will have pain instead.
100% worth it. i have this on quest and pc, extremely fun everytime i play but DEVS, i have an awesome idea, what if you could pick up an enemies radio and listen to their comms so now you can hear what the enemy team is saying, i just think it would be cool
