Ready steady go! Thanks to all robot-gods out there we will not take this journey alone - our humble (with a tiny control-everyone mania) assistant is waiting for us (she is so sweet, isn’t she?). The Most Excellent Assistant Zero-Seven (she said that humans may refer to her simply as ‘Your Highness’). So the player’s task is to impress TMEAR07 with experiment on volunteer to unlock new healing technology for humanity. The problem is she doesn’t believe in that possibility because humans are simple and illogical (and she is genius… as always).
To cure our volunteer Mrs. Jane Smith and impress TMEAR07 players must select the right way through the objects (organelles) to the cell’s nucleus and do their best in innovative radial racings between selected objects. Each object provides unique abilities to improve racing params or to protect cell with different strategies.
Remembered my first VR game... fondly. Back when I first got into VR, I bought a "headset: you slide your cell phone into. Interesting, but waaaay primitive compared to the immersion factor of the Rift. And this was one of the very first games I played. Looks and sounds gorgeous. Still, the speeds and the sudden loops twists and turns tends to make me a tad dizzy for a few. It's kinda like a racer game, but the backgrounds are worth looking at. Drive fast, hit the green "speed up" things, avoid anything red and capture the white icons when you see them. It's a good fixed track game. Haven't delved very far into it but I do enjoy it when I pick it up. There's some story about delivering proteins to the nucleus or some such craziness, but overall it's a speed rail driver game.
Simple but effective time-waster. Not a whole lot to it - it's a sort of on-rails racer without the racing - but if you're in the mood for something uncomplicated and relaxing this is pretty decent. Runs smoothly, visually simplistic but still looks OK, and for free there's nothing to complain about.
(The name, on the other hand, is pretty unfortunate. Whether it was intentional or not it's hard to say, but it's a bad choice either way.)
Might get confused with InMind VR. That was essentially a 'demo' for this. Here, you get more courses, some kind of a plot and hub/level selection, and you race for time instead of shooting the evil racist mitochondria. These are perfect VR 'driving' games, even if you only rotate and move your head. The graphics and look are top notch, and these are great ways for you to reduce your motion sickness and gain your VR legs. It's a perfect port of a cell phone game to the Vive.
A good game. I'm ok with the helping voice, others are not. But I missed that the green things are speed boosters and have been avoiding them, which made me fail the 1st level... the green and white is good, red is bad, got it now.
