It grow to a super sport game! Good start. I hope for following developments:
- small field option or teleportation - thumb stick is a NoGo - strong AI opponents for single player exercises - autorun or teleportation for multiplayer - same ranking system like Eleven TT
Be aware, that 95% of all player are limited to 2 m x 2 m playfield at home.
Promising future. Physics are good and the trainings are fun. Most enjoyable was playing against the wall for now.
Be aware this is in Early Access and the is no Multiplayer or Bots available at the moment.
My play area is smaller then the court and moving around with the joystick feels pretty sluggish. I could see that being an issue in a real match when they come.
So Much Potential. Game is still in early access, so there are a lot of features still in development. But what is there is a lot of fun. One possible issue is that you need a lot of space in order to truly enjoy this game. Other than that, this reminds me a lot of eleven table tennis, but for pickle ball. I'm very excited to see this game get closer to release, specifically looking forward to the multiplayer and bot matches for practicing.

Off to a promising start! I!UPDATE!! Just realized these are the same people behind Eleven Table Tennis! With that in mind, I have COMPLETE faith this will be awesome once fully released!!
Original review:
n the interest of transparency, it’s important for me to note that I’ve never played pickle ball in real life. I’ve played table tennis and regular tennis (badly) but this game, that falls somewhere in-between is still new to me.
At the time of writing this review, the full game isn’t yet available. I only have access to the practice “mini-game” section.
That’s probably for the best because it’s helping me learn what I”m doing (and some of the jargon of the game).
For something pre-release where they don’t even have the main mode ready, I’m really impressed with the polish this already has. I don’t know if it’s different on the 2 but on the Quest 3, the graphics are surprisingly good for the type of game this is. Light reflections on the paddle you hold reveal little scratches and divots in the paddle - indicating a sort of worn, used look that really just jumped out at me as a level of detail I wasn’t expecting.
All movement is fluid and the practice stuff I’ve had access to has worked exactly like you’d expect it to.
I dare say, if they keep this up, this could be a serious game in the store. While I love Eleven for table tennis, this one already has a level of quality in the menu system and in the visuals that surpasses that one and the physics already appear to be solid.
If they pull of the regular gameplay, I think this will be a hit.
Promising Pickleball Game in Development. I got the game for free thanks to Impact Lab in exchange for testing and feedback, but no restrictions were put on my review. Opinions are mine. That said, the physics seem solid in this, and the drills and MR mode are pretty solid and very useful. However, this current build only has the drills and MR mode, so I can't speak to multiplayer or singleplayer stuff.
The drills are well done and the ability to move the court around you is quite handy for having MR on while retaining access to the entire court. Even though the court is essentially a full-sized court, larger than the room I'm in, I can position myself at any point.
One drawback to that is I feel like there's a slight tendency for the court to move with me when I move IRL. That could be anchored a little better, both for better comfort and for more consistent play.
I'm looking forward to when they add multiplayer and singleplayer matches, and hope those are just as good if not better than the drills.
A good start for early release. A good start for an early release app. However as I have never played Pickleball at all, I found it a bit confusing for a total beginner. I would like to see tutorials and explainations on how the game is played, how scoring works, etc. For example, the game mentions the “kitchen” and I had no idea what that even meant. I just had to keep hitting the ball to figure out that it has to bounce in the front section of the court.
I have a fairly decent sized play area, but it still felt too small. I think this is best played in a large space or outside.
Aside from that, the sounds and physics are really enjoyable. The ball has realistic movement and a satisfying *plink* sound. I realize it is early access but I hope there are plans to add more engaging mini games so it does not get boring or repetitive for a single player. But I could see this being a great tool to improve your skills for real life games, and fun for multiplayer matchups. I am looking forward to seeing the app as it is developed!
A lot of promise. I have the luck that I can try this sport in my city too, so I was able to directly compare it. And I have to say that the training mode is already pretty good! It really surprised me on how much better I got after having some hours practicing! But it isn’t finished yet! All you can do right now is practicing, but that is already pretty good! So I hope the developers will keep on updating this with all of the promised features! But even if not the game is already pretty good
Great start! Very lifelike. Longtime pickleball player here, 4.5 rated. Really enjoying the alpha so far. The physics need a slight bit of tweaking still, but are very serviceable now and most casual players wouldn't be able to tell much difference between the game and real life. The alpha currently features several minigames focusing on different shots--dinks, drops, etc. There's a ball machine where you can customize different shots to practice, as well as a practice wall to hit against. Single player and multiplayer matchups are going to be part of the final game, although those aren't enabled at the moment. There's four different visual environments to choose from.
If you've played Eleven Table Tennis, this will all feel very familiar, since it's the same people doing this game. They're very responsive on the discord and very receptive to feedback and suggestions. I have every confidence that they're going to knock this game out of the park once it's released in its final form, and I can't wait. Super fun!
Great Game w/ good physics. Overall, this is a very fun game. The physics feels real (the ball reacts and moves exactly how I'd except it to, even with spinning.) and the immersion is great. This game has a lot of potential and I think a lot of people will love it once it's ready to go. The ability to practice non stop without having to chase a ball around IRL is amazing.
Good physic. I am writing this based on the incomplete version of the game. There is a lack of content, but that isn't something that I will complain: it's to be expected for an alpha.
amazing physics. The ball actually feels like there is some weight to it. I have never played pickleball before, so I cannot say whether it's realistic or not, but it feels like it. If you have played eleven table tennis, you will know what I mean.
Fun gamemodes to train and learn. I did not know the rules before, but I believe this is perfect to learn them. I have even learned a few terms. It's also perfect to learn some techniques .
The biggest problem would be the movement. I feel like there is a lack of necessity to move, and also it is too slow. It may be fixed in the future, but even without, it's pretty fun.
A Promising Start. I had a fun time messing around with the modes that they've made so far. This game will really come alive once AI opponents and multiplayer are implemented. If they put the same care that they put into Eleven Table Tennis, then this will be a top game.
