**WELCOME TO PADEL VR EARLY ACCESS!** - PadelVR is a realistic padel simulation game, allowing you to practice and enjoy this wonderful sport anytime, anywhere. - What is padel? Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports worldwide, combining elements from several racket sports.
EARLY ACCESS: We're still in development, so some features are missing, and our dedicated physics engine is still being improved. Despite this, we are proud of our realistic performance, even though some aspects need refinement.
NOTE: We've created a specific PADEL RACKET ADAPTER for the Quest controller, making the experience 100% more realistic!
- Early access means you're paying a reduced price for the game. All updates during development will be included. We appreciate your feedback to make this the perfect padel game.
- WHAT'S MISSING? The match option isn't available yet. We expect to have the AI match option ready by the end of September. The multiplayer mode will be available before the final release. The physics engine still needs some tweaking.
- WHAT'S INCLUDED? Amazing indoor and outdoor stadiums, warm-up mode, and a fantastic set of challenges that let you work on: Dropshots, bandejas, volleys, rulo reja, smashes, serves, serve returns, double wall defense, lobs, chiquitas, and combinations of shots.
Excellent tool for players and trainers. I will start this review by saying that I firmly believe it is impossible to fully re-create a sport on a virtual environment, that being said, Padel VR a wonderful project and it comes as close as it can get to the real thing.
The physics are amazingly real, and while the lack of feedback from hitting the ball is missing, all other aspects of the technique are present, as a padel coach with a high affinity for technology, I can confidently say that there are several aspects that can be improved in your game by using Padel Vr, including but not limited to: - Timing of impact - Point of impact - Use of your non-dominant hand as reference - Player position - Applying effects by using a slicing motion, etc
great physics and playability. I'm learning padel and this app is really a game changer, now i can have a pratice everyday and already see results.
In my case i play in a large garage which let's me use the full lenght of the court greatly improving the playability.
Had some initial dificulty in aligning my play space with the game but after disabling the boundary in Quest2 and realizing that i could use the joystic/green circle to "move" the court around me it became super easy to garantee i didn't hit a physical wall (did happen once...) . A tip i found by chance, one can push the court walls while in the game to tweak the positionning.
Many congrats for the dev team, super solid for a Beta!
couple of suggestions: - add a "Corner" practice option because it's a zone difficult to master. - allow an option to combine multiple practice modes like Bandeja + Volley - allow racket shape and foam hardness config modes to change the sweet spot location and bounciness level - add some instructions in the game on how to define the court area vs user physical play area - add other sounds to choose for the ball hitting the racket
Padel at home. Playing padel at home is now possible. This version is very consistent and let you to practise all the shots. The experience even improves with the physical racket to insert the control, and gives you a sensation of realism difficult to believe. The mini games that you can buy at a very reduced price can provide you tones of fun. Five stars!!!
Great game, but needs some more features. If you are looking to improve your game this could really help you a lot. The physics are overall pretty good but sometimes the power you generate is a bit off and the spin on the backwal isn't always correct either (especially topspin). The training balls are great for learning volleys and shots from the back, but there is a section missing where the trainer plays lobs, so that's a huge part of the game still left out. However the game is great and has so much potential, can't wait for the full release!
First Impression: Super feeling, but…. Very good calculation of physics, but one problem: If the ball come from the back wall with angle then teleportation not run. I have to move sidestep and often my controller crash with room side wall. It is to dangerous to play it within 250 cm x 250 cm. One solution could be a smaler playfield. Other solution could be only play it outdoor. But nobody would buy it for playing in snow or rain.
THX for the demo. I hope it helps for a succesful development.
