Great bowling game. This game is overall pretty good. Physics are very good and ball customization is cool. Multiplayer works very well. I also STRONGLY RECOMMEND going to the settings and dragging the graphics slider to max resolution. Trust me, it looks WAY better and hardly impacts performance. I particularly love the feature where you can play your own music on a big screen above the masking unit just like the modern bowling alleys!
Realistic or not (25% off). It's maximum fun for me to throw some balls. Atmosphere and immersion are certainly there. And after two days of playing I feel it in the legs. I found out how to mimic my real life throwing action which leads to a more or less accurate result. You can take off the controller of your non-throwing hand and support your ball+holding stance like in real life. As I'm improving from round to round motivation is high.
Of course the balls have no weight. So exhaustion is limited. I play in the presence of other players but mute everything if the kids start blaring on the lane. 😊

Confused by Negative Reviews. I initially played ForeVR bowling but it seemed a bit toy like. So, I tried Premium Bowling and the difference is night and day. ForeVR seems to guide every ball towards the head pin and pin action seems off. But Premium Bowling pin action seems more realistic. I've not had ANY issues with the game like others have described. Maybe their experiences are several releases ago, I don't know. But I like it.
Great bowling game! One of the best bowling games on the market! So much fun and really feels like you’re in an actual bowling alley especially when you’re next to actual players next to you!

Great game for the bowling enthusiast! I just got this game as it was 25% off and I have to say it is very nice. The fact you can use your meta avatar is good. I love the fact you can make your username whatever you wish and you can pull up YouTube or YouTube music! You can play single player, multiplayer or online and you can even play single player in online mode with other real people bowling beside you! This game is well worth the money and I highly recommend it! Also for 25% off, use my link to buy and you'll get that 25% price break! Premium Bowling. This is one of my first VR games what about the Oculus 6 months ago I have played it almost daily since then. Realistic physics that respond to spins on the ball and how it slides on the lane. If there is one thing that I would change would be some of the commentator responses you can be at Midway to later in the game any commentator will respond with open with the strike when clearly the strike was six or seven friends into the game it's very rare that I hear that in the first two or three frames. Activated taking it a step further and putting a 12 lb weight on my wrist to simulate the weight of the ball I am very pleased with this purchase and have recommended it to others.
Make sure to get rid of the space after .com for the link to work, enjoy
If you like bowling this is the best bowling game out there! Lots of different lane sceneries and the graphics are great! I enjoy bowling so this game is fun for me!
Really fun bowling game. I got this because I enjoyed Walkabout Minigolf a lot, and I wanted another casual sports game. I decided bowling was probably the best choice. So I compared the bowling games on Quest 2, and this one seemed like the best choice, as it's the most realistic and it's very affordable. I started playing shortly after and it's been a lot of fun. The graphics are fine, it runs pretty stable, the physics seem relatively accurate (although I can't believe I'm actually as good as I've been doing so far), the atmosphere in the bowling range area's is fun. The avatars look a bit weird floating above their chairs with half their body's missing, but I believe these are made by Meta, not the developer behind Premium Bowling. Whatever the case might be, I got used to them quickly, and the bowling area's are a fun place to spend some time.
Though bowling does not offer the variety as you can expect in a Mini/Midget Golf game, it's a fun sport to play, certainly in VR, and I think this is a great game to play it in. I would happily recommend it, whether you're a bowling fan or just looking for a game where you can enjoy yourself for medium length sessions every now and again.
Fun and pretty realistic. Sometimes games of skill (e.g. ping-pong, golf, etc.) are a gamble because you never know if the action is going to be accurate or not. This game is pretty accurate and the sounds and pin action are pretty realistic. I hope they come out with more venues to choose from since it's fun to change up the scene. You can spend the $20 on this and have fun bowling a thousand frames for the same price as a few games and shoe rental at a dirty alley...lol I have a lot of fun with this game and would totally recommend it.
Favorite non-action type VR game. I love this game. My wife and I have spent many many hours competing against each other. She plays in the kitchen and I play in an adjoining room. So much fun. I wish the developers would restore the avatars bottom half of their bodies to increase realism.
Very enjoyable, room for improvement. The act of bowling itself in the app is great, borderline perfect, actually. Very enjoyable. The bowling alleyways themselves, I guess I shouldn't complain, but it would be nice if there were more dark themed alleys. There's really only one. The youtube integration is very welcomed but sometimes the act of having a video playing causes the entire game to have low frames rates on my Quest Pro. Would be nice if a local video player was made available as an option. Personally, I could easily drop some mp4 files onto my headset and bowl away for 2 hours with ease. All in all, it's a brilliant game. A little mode development on dark themes and a means to play my own videos and audio would be perfection.
4.7-star game: solid bowling and online. 25% DISCOUNT: See jackquest.wordpress.com for a 25% discount on this and many other titles. Remember you can always return any title for a full refund before playing 2 hours or owning 2 weeks (limited to a few times a month). Hope this helps!
REVIEW
The lower reviews are mostly old or about "legs" which seems unfair. The tech isn't there to make it non-janky for bowling.
I have played Premium and ForeVR. Premium is a less cartoony experience with much better physics; I can put spin I expect on the ball, the pins explode like they should. The graphics are nice but (by default) stuttery on the Quest2; I recommend reducing the render scale, unchecking reflections, setting 72 FPS, and removing the crowd to smooth it out (still looks great this way!). The online setup is well done, too: pick an alley, and bowl / chat with others at the alley. Very nice community so far.
Fundamentally, I feel like all bowling games should have ball inertia physics while the user is holding it, both rotational and linear. See, e.g., how an axe feels in Walking Dead. When the user moves their hand, this applies a force to what they're holding, and the object needs to accelerate to get there. In bowling, this would naturally further stabilize the release direction (while encouraging a big backswing to get the momentum up). Right now it's like holding a hologram, and prone to jitters.
Other suggestions:
1. FOVeating and other tricks / geometry reductions to increase frame rate while maintaining things like shiny alleys. The default settings were honestly gnasty / stuttery, which might turn some people away.
2. I couldn't talk to a group next to me because they were having a match. If the person in the match set it so they could talk to me, their partner couldn't hear them.
Grab Your Balls, Strike Out, Save 25%. Let me start this off with the fact that I love Bowling. I take my two boys every single Monday night to the bowling alley by our house and we all have the greatest time. I figured maybe an app on the VR would allow the kids and I to enjoy more bowling time more often on the cheap. This game delivers.
No, it’s not like REAL bowling but it’s pretty close. You get to choose your lanes, choose your ball, and decide how or if you want to curve the ball. It’s pretty legit. You can also launch Apple Music in the game and play your favorite music during the game as well! It also allows you to join leagues, tournaments and hang with your friends at the alley.

Sooo much fun plus 25% off to! I had this game for over a week now and it never gets boring. First, you play random with another person or with your friends if they also have the game and or teams. Also, you can play music while you play like any song from YouTube Music. All in all I highly recommend it.
Very realistic. I love this game’s physics and mechanics so much. It’s actually feels like I’m really bowling. The other game forever bowl is fun also but feels unfinished and not balanced enough but It has a lot of potential because of the graphics and gameplay and hand ball release physics outweighs Premium bowling by a mile but is not near as fun and the pin action on forever is kinda cartoony but hands down premium bowl has the best quality in all aspects but one.
Great Game...Always fun! Love this game and it never gets boring. You can play solo, multi play or invite friends. Controls are simple and easy. Different lanes to choose from and you can play your fav music. Great way to relax and just have some fun..

Lots of fun! This is a great family game! Super easy to use. Even my four year old got the hang of it. Do expect to take almost as long as real life bowling, if you’re bowling with a large group. We had 8 people bowling one game and it took about an hour. So be prepared for that. We were also able to cast it to the tv so everyone could watch. It was a lot of fun!
