Lots of fun! This is a great family game! Super easy to use. Even my four year old got the hang of it. Do expect to take almost as long as real life bowling, if you’re bowling with a large group. We had 8 people bowling one game and it took about an hour. So be prepared for that. We were also able to cast it to the tv so everyone could watch. It was a lot of fun!
Realistic bowling game. Very fun game to play. Was tossing up between this one and ForeVR bowl, the reviews for premium bowling were more positive in terms of its realistic nature and im glad I went with this one as its very realistic. Picking up the ball can be a bit dodgy at times but overall a very fun game to play in the comfort of your own home. You won't be disappointed buying this game.
NEED AN ALLEY FOR ADULTS ONLY...NO KIDS. This is a great game for ALL AGES. It is REALLY ANNOYING WHEN IMMATURE KIDS are bowling. THEY stand in front of your lane and quit during a game when they are losing, THIS IS SO ANNOYING 😡. WHERE IN THE WORLD DO PEOPLE OVERHAND BOWL😡? PLEASE UPDATE THE GAME WITH AN ALLEY FOR ADULTS ONLY. UPDATE THE OVERHAND BOWLING IT REALLY HAVE TAKEN THE FUN OUT OF BOWLING SIMULATION.
Best of the Best. Great bowling game! Realistic physics, smooth graphics and gameplay as well. What’s hilarious is that whatever you bowl in real life translates into how you’ll bowl in the game and to me that’s a great thing. I like this because when you get better in game by trying new styles of gameplay you’ll feel like your actually getting better at bowling in general! Super fun, super realistic win win.
this game is amazing and addictive. well when I got this game I only brought it because a mate said it you be fun to play with him but after i played the game with him i went on single player lane and notice you can get youtube music to show up as a browser and play you own music so after ii found that i have been playing every night when im of work so I would recommend
Perfect Physics but Overall Buggy. Over the last year I keep coming back to this game hoping for a cleaned up experience, but the game is reallly lacking good UX. Aside from the menus being confusing, multiplayer is really rough. They have fixed a lot of the animation syncing issues over the last year so things do look nicer than before -- but my group spent OVER 30 minutes yesterday just trying to get a multiplayer game started. It was frustrating. Either invites don't show up and we have to restart headsets to get them showing up properly, or people are stuck in a challenges so they can't receive an invite (despite only attempting to join the shared multiplayer game). Sometimes during a multiplayer game the invites pop up on the screen constantly every 60 seconds or so despite having already accepted it and being in the middle of the game. There are good things about the game namely the physics. The physics of this game feel PERFECT, but the game doesn't have a lot of customization (with bowling balls, etc.) and the multiplayer experience is still buggy and frustrating to launch, so its hard to recommend this game unless you are wanting to just play single player.
Excellent. If you can figure out how to hold a weight for real feel, this game is excellent bowling sim. Took me a few times to fix my boundary after punching chair but once you do it’s very close to my same hook. Amazing and fun. Glad I got the deal. Add a few beers, bowling ally fries and pizza and it’s a night😁🍻🍟🍕
Best VR Bowling Game. Just buy it! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ I am a bowler in real life. This game is of the most accurate physics, with great joy either playing alone or online.
Ball physics imitate those in real life, hook angles are very precise, and haptic feedbacks are pretty realistic. Even the oil on the lanes will be taken up after a few throws, this is a wow and amazing detail from the developers! Everything is real!
I sweat the same amount after this game when compared to actual game in the physical bowling alley.
If you have bowling experiences, this game is for you. Don't forget to customize your balls according to your preferences if you are into serious bowling.
This is definitely a game worth your cash. I can't tell you how much I love it!
PS: don't buy ForeVR Bowling if you are a playing for a good bowling practice. That game doesn't even allow wrist movements to hook a ball!
Suggestions for devs: some players, especially younger ones, are rather annoying, disturbing others during the games. E.g. walking in front of you and start dancing, blocking your views from the pins. It will be nice if you can help set a user-block function simply when I point to the disturbing user, or at least an option to send a reminder not to disturb others.
Also, more real life balls like Motiv, Storm, Hammer and others can be brought into the game so realistic is brought to another level!
Other than these, really excellent job in creating and maintaining this game. 500 stars for you! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Amazing, Fun, addictive game play! This game rocks! I had bought another bowling games but had issues with it loading so took a chance with this game. I say took a chance because at the time of purchase the reviews for this game were lower than the other bowling game. After purchase though I can’t at all understand why! This game is amazingly addictive. I love it the only thing I would add is the ability to spin the ball for a more professional throw but it’s such a minor concern that it doesn’t affect its rating. Listen if your looking for a fun bowling game that’s mostly realistic and addictive to play then buy this game! You won’t regret it!
Premium Bowling. I’m slowly getting the hang of this game. Years ago I used to bowl at a real bowling alley. This reminds me of those times. Good memories. During the pandemic games like this get us moving. we need these kind of games. Thank you for creating these. This is Awesome! This is so much fun. It takes me back too when I was 19 years old when I used too bowl in a real bowling alley. Because of a shoulder injury I can’t do that anymore. This is safer. Last Saturday I bowled most of the day. Oculus has changed the boundary settings. When it comes to creating you room scale settings, if you can’t create a 6ft by 6ft or bigger it won’t let us create a room scale setting that suits the space we do have. This interferes with the games we spent so $ on. This is not fare! What can be done about this issue? I love my bowling game. And not being able to draw keep the space I create so that I can start bowling is not right. Not everyone has 6 x 6‘ to play in. Oculus screwed this up in their last update. If I get outside the stationary boundary my ball disappears. This is not cool. I hope you can help with this issue. Oculus is now in control of our room scale boundary. This is so wrong. Thx. I noticed that now we can use YouTube Music. It does make the performance unstable though. I needed to let you know so that this issue can be worked on. Thank you. Awesome update. Now we can use our own music from YouTube Music. 👏👏👏🌹👍🏼👍🏼 One problem though. We can’t record video while using YouTube Music. Update: I’ve been having so much fun bowling, my battery died twice today. Is our avatar going to get the rest of our body? I’ve noticed that all through the oculus our avatars are cut off at the waist line. Why is that? WOW! I love the new Retro Alley. It’s Awesome!
Real as can be. I use this application as part of my daily workout. I'm telling you this is the most real bowling game I have ever played. I don't even have to go to the bowling alley ever again because I get the same effect playing with my VR buddies. Other than not feeling the heaviness of the ball I am able to do hooks and curves and spins and everything else a person can do at the bowling alley. I can even feel like I'm playing as a professional with the championship setting.
It's crazy that they allow me to even listen to my favorite music while I'm bowling. And then you even have a crowd watching you and cheering you on. I just love this game. I even rated over the forever bowling game that I bought first.
Love it!!! In. My husband and I both have Oculus and we love finding games that we can play in multi player!! This game is soooooo fun!!! And just like real bowling sometimes you are on sometimes you are off!! I bowled league for years and this is a great game and so close the the real thing!!!
Not sure why others do not like this game, I think it is a 5 star!!!! we have had hours of fun!! Highly recommended this game if you love to play multiplayer games!!!
Great bowling game. This game is overall pretty good. Physics are very good and ball customization is cool. However, there used to be a graphics setting to make the resolution higher and I can’t find that setting anymore. Game is still good but wish I can up the resolution for better visuals.
UPDATE: The developers actually listened! Now a 5 star game :)
The update killed this game. I have been playing this game for about 7 months and the game was amazing!!! Until this last update, everyone I talk to now dislikes this game, they tried to make it to updated and playful for other people! The game LAGS all the time now, the speed and rotation off your own hand is inaccurate! They need to undo the last update! And I’m not the only one at all that thinks this!!
Very accurate VR Bowling experience. I was skeptical about bowling in VR. I didn’t think it would feel real. I was wrong. This game feels as close as you can get to being on a lane. After bowling on this game I was able to keep my rhythm and throwing motion in tact to the tune of a 219 real life bowling game my last time at a real bowling alley.
If you are a fan of bowling and go often for fun you will like this game.
Crockett03. This was a great game until you chose to start discriminating against the the disabled! I am a disabled veteran who has to bowl over handed in stead of underhanded! The folks who bowl underhanded feel those of us who have to have to bowl over handed have a advantage! I believe that you need to leave it like it was! The underhanded players can chose not to play with overhanded players if they think they are at a disadvantage instead of punishing those with disabilities! I love to bowl and wish I could go to a real bowling alley and play but I can’t due to the injuries I received in the line of duty when I was in the Navy!
Great Game! I bowled 5 pin competitive for years when I was a kid, always loved bowling and played ten pin to have a few beers... anyways this game is the real deal! I was so fricken sore after playing this game!!! Lol!! So much fun! Love the multiple player interactions! Feels like your really at the alley!
The best bowling app out there, period. I’m not much on reviews, but when an app is perfect, I tend to wanna share. This app is the best bowling app I’ve ever used. It looks nice, it plays nice, and I can customize it and play by myself or with others and it’s just a great distraction. My thanks to the developers for making something right.
A bowling dream! Quite possibly my favourite game on the Quest 2. Great physics and pure fun. I love trying to beat my series score whilst listening to some tunes on YouTube. Mind you the music provided always fits each Lane nicely. You can create your own ball, and play different styles due to the oils etc. I dream of hitting a 300 one day. So far my best is 215. The variety of lanes bring a nice change of scenery and are well detailed. Big thank you to the developers for such a joyous game. My dad, who is 75 loves it and it’s wonderful to be able to play a game together.
Custom ball design!!! I agree with all the others talk about how realistic the bowling mechanics in this game are. It’s a lot of fun whether you just play solo to practice rolls and tweak the ball settings optimize your game and it’s a lot of fun to play against strangers. I did have one hater who walked his avatar into my line of sight when at the bowling line (can we fix that please) to mess with my rolling. Outside of that one occurrence it’s been perfect civility between bowlers. I’m more excited to play with and against my friends than strangers, but none of them have the game yet.
What I find weird is I don’t see anyone talking about how you can custom make the images for bowling balls! You can import your own Jpg’s to the Quest2 and then from the ball editor you can make your own personalized bowling balls. To me this has made the game a must have…although I never see anyone else utilizing that feature. It’s sad that it’s my favorite and I never see anyones else’s ideas of what the coolest bowling ball would be.
My second wish outside of the limiting avatars onto the lanes while their opponents are up, I wish we could delete the pre-fab balls the game comes with. I have enough of my own and they just clog up my personal selection.
Overall a great game and in my opinion a must have for the price and fun.
