Bounce Shot is the family-friendly version of the popular college game!
Players take turns attempting to throw ping pong balls into their opponent’s cups, making them disappear. The first player or team to remove all their opponent’s cups wins.
But there’s a twist…
Bounce shots can remove two cups in one go, but also allow the defending player the chance to swat the ball away.
From the same folks who brought you the critically-acclaimed, Eleven Table Tennis, this game is simple to learn but deceptively challenging to master. Use the motion controllers to adjust the speed and angle of your throw to outthink and bluff your opponent.
And trust us on this one… that delicious chime in your brain when you sink a perfect arcing shot into an opponent’s cup NEVER gets old.
Bounce Shot is a game suitable for all ages and skill levels, even those who are brand-new to VR. Want your grandparents (or your grandchildren) to have their first crack at virtual reality? This is the perfect game to introduce them to the experience.
Bounce Shot features include:
- 3 stunning play environments w/original music - Practice mode for perfecting your play - AI opponents of 5 different skill levels - Private rooms for you and up to 7 friends - 1v1, 2v2 or 1v2 multiplayer matches - More game modes to come soon…
Without the timer?. I love it especially with the tug of war and domination games they've added, but can you add a way to play those versions without the timer or to custom set the timer?
Everyone’s favorite party game. This game is a perfect representation of beer/water pong. It is really cool how they incorporated the bounce shot with being able to defend it. Most pong games don’t have the bounce shot at all. Having the option to play against bots or join public lobbies is neat. Practice your shot against the bots so you’re ready to dominate the competition online. Overall if you like pong, this game is absolutely perfect for you. It is also great practice for when you play IRL.
Low key fun, priced right. Was fun playing pass through with my 8yo in same room. Appreciated that I could throw a more advanced bot on his side to even things out so he had a competitive shot. Thank you for the low price tag, I bought three copies.
Would love to see you guys add hand tracking to this game so the 5yo can play too. Their hands are too small to reliably manipulate trigger. Would also like a better way to share space with pass through, but current setup is just fine manually moving until mine/theirs lines up. Checkout Spatial Ops on SideQuest for a great example of how. Could potentially allow four players to share exact same table or even tournaments up to 8 players / 2 tables in same room.
Excellent! Great fun & recommend! Full disclaimer! I was sent this to test & share my thought's. First of all, it is great fun! It does exactly what it promises & delivers the "Beer Pong" experience with good visuals & very good gameplay. Everything just works, you can play in full VR mode or in passthrough which again works brilliantly. PVP is great fun & where this games shines in my opinion, especially if you are playing online in mixed reality. I would love to see handtracking implemented in the future as this would be amazing to experience without controllers. Fully recommend & very happy I was able to play it.
Fun casual "drink" pong game. This is a fun version of the classic college and party game, but with none of the mess that I'm sure comes with the real thing. Disclaimer: I received the product for free in exchange for feedback and review. No stipulation on the content of the review.
I've never played the RL version of this game for various reasons, but it feels like a good implementation of it. There are a couple different variations of the basic "get the ball in the cup" mode so there's some variety and interest, plus there's a decent Mixed Reality mode where you can see your RL surroundings whilst you play. I did notice there seems to be more aim assist given to bounce shots than non-bounce shots, as I couldn't get a single non-bounce shot in, while most of my bounce shots made it in. Keeping in mind I don't play this in RL at all, that feels like aim assist to me. Which is not a bad thing! It helps keep it fun rather than frustrating.
I will say, though, that there does sometimes seem to be a tendency for the ball to go left when bouncing rather than straight or right. I was able to win against bots regardless, but occasionally felt that the aim assist messed up and pulled the ball left when it should've gone straight.
Overall, this is a fun little casual game for playing, chatting and laughing with friends, or just playing against bots at varying levels of difficulty. It's a got a few VERY minor hiccups, but nothing worth knocking a star off.

Awesome! Every one of my friends have said, “ it’s awesome!”
Better than the real thing. This game is just like the real thing but better because of the mixed reality, you can play online or offline, you can play with bots or real people the choice is yours. This game is sure to keep you on your toes , you will have hours of fun . It has great graphics. You can choose the environment, I like that you can walk in the game , I like that you have a choice of 3 different games , bounce shot , rug of war and domination.so it's basically like your getting 3 games in one .The look and the feel of the lobby make you feel like you are really there . The arcade games take me back . This game is awesome though and though .
simple but fun game. There are three game modes to choose from in the menu. Each game mode can be played against a bot or a real person. The difficulty of the bot can easily be choosen before the game starts. I recommend starting with "easy" until you are familiar with the controls. then you can train yourself until you win against the bots with the highest difficulty. In short: It's a simple, addictive game that can also get you very frustrated when trying to win🤣. Beerpong is like 80% skill and 20% luck in my eyes... And unfortunately the luck isn't always on my side😅
Might be the best casual online VR game. I'll be honest I went into this title thinking I'll have some fun but then quickly get bored. While that was somewhat true when playing offline against bots; this game is SO much better online. The biggest issue right now is that there may not be a whole lot of people to play online against, right now, but hopefully as word-of-mouth spreads this starts to become a non-issue. There's also game modes that would be practically impossible IRL; like Dominion where sinking a ball changes the cup color.
I jumped into someone's lobby and suddenly I was in MY living room (mixed reality) with a table and several people's avatars in there with me. It was such a surreal experience but I quickly found myself genuinely having fun. My first match was a little awkward since I wasn't really sure what to do, not realizing I had to also "join" the match. This is where one of the minor annoying parts of online play comes in. You can be in the lobby and play in the match since you have to then "join" the game. What this means in practice is that there could be 3 people in the "room" but then be playing on your side with a teammate against a bot while the 3rd person observes because they didn't join in time. I'm guessing this is so you can have a room with lots of people but then can take turns playing. Either way I hope they make this part better/streamlined over time. It was still fun conversing with strangers and playing games though.
I found that throwing to finicky and could never really find my "groove." I could nail bounce shots consistently but those are easily blocked when playing against people, while the bots never really block those. This could just be a me issue though.
Excellent game for friends! This classic party game is great in VR! No mess to clean up after 😉
The physics can be tricky to master, but that’s part of the fun! The new game modes adds a good bit of variety to the classic game. Usually when I am on there’s not many people, so I hope there’s more players joining soon!
Tug of War is absolutely amazing!
One thing I would add would be house rules that we can customize (trick shots, roll backs, etc.) Maybe even more environments?! Built in music player/browser for YT would also be icing on the cake!
Party time. Welcome to the party! This game brings you back to the old days playing cup pong in hs and college. The controls are easy to figure out and you get the hang of the throwing mechanics pretty quick. Needs a few quality of life improvements like with movement. I love the arcade games just wish they kept score. You will have a blast with friends or randoms you meet in game.
Simple yet satisfying. I didn't expect much from this game, but I found it very fun and addicting. I spent hours playing without realizing cause I was focused on getting more accurate. I even started to increase the difficulty, and it just got better.
I liked the different locations, hope to see more.
The physics for tossing the ball are very accurate, had no trouble getting the hang of it. Deflecting the ball worked really well, used it a bunch.
The only thing I was missing was my friends, but that will come in time.
Brillliant Game. This game is amazing! Would be great if there was a juke box or, a tv to log into your YouTube to play your play lists or something.
Really great physics! And feed so natural throwing the ball to the cups. I feel the “Legendary” bot could do with being a much harder opponent as currently I personally don’t see the difference between all the bots and they are very easy to beat.
Overall it’s a pretty impressive game! But then it would be as it’s made by the devs of eleven table tennis 🔥
Absolutely love this game! And I’ll be playing it a lot for sure, seems there is a big hype for a big update! Can’t wait to see what’s coming 😎
Multiplayer is an absolute blast! And can have some great social time with your friends! Also you have a side game air hockey you can play.
Relaxing social game. It is easy to meet anyone and just chill with chats. The main attraction would be the beer pong with 3 different game modes and up to 4 players. The ai is pretty good with 5 different levels of difficulty. There are 4 different worlds to explore, one of which is mixed reality and each of them has some gimmick to it. It is a relatively small amount of content but the main joy comes from playing against and talking with other people.
From Eleven table tennis Devs. So mechanics are great as you would expect from the Eleven table tennis devs. Surroundings and atmosphere are very similar to any Forevr games. Very fun if you are playing with others but can get very boring if playing against AI. Some additional mini games in the arcade would go along way.
Lots of fun with just one minor issue. This is a really fun game to play and hangout with strangers. I appreciate the bots as well if there’s no one online and they come in various levels to practice! The only thing I don’t like is the jarring sound when you cross a boundary and the ending loud celebration music even when the sound settings are changed. But that’s a me problem and more of a wish rather than an actual “problem.”
Fun Game with Friends. It's an instant hit to settle dispute among friends or just to get your competitive juices going. Love the ability to slap the ball away without accidentally tipping over the entire table. I know i'll have many more games to come with my friends.
Solid Foundation With Room To Grow. Fun little title especially when enjoyed with a group of friends! A bit more meat on these bones will take things to the next level =)
Cons: - Winning audio cue is really choppy. - Play button on table sometimes takes several attempts to activate. - Distracting noises while using teleport movment.
Recommendations: - Option for snap turn with walking movement on. - Height adjustment for those of us sitting and or needing added accessibility. - Could benefit from progressions system which could include new balls/cups/throw effects/maps - In game browser for Youtube playlists to listen with friends.
Pros: - Crunchy swat sounds when deflecting bounced balls. - Cozy enviroments including a rooftop bar. - Mixed Reality feature to allow for play nearly anywhere. - 3 rule variations to test your skills with.
Kick Back and Bounce. Bounce Shot has its hooks in me…this is the perfect game to jump into any time to unwind and have fun. There is something so satisfying about the gameplay loop, and I feel like the devs really nailed both the physics and feel of shooting a “pong ball”.
After playing Eleven VR’s ping pong game, I thought I was going to have to worry about tennis elbow, now I’m wondering if I’ll end up with bounce shot elbow…ok now back to the table!
