Islanders is the critically acclaimed minimalist strategy game about building cities on colourful islands. Now coming to VR.
Explore an infinite number of ever-changing new lands, expand your settlements from sprawling villages to vast cities and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.
In Islanders: VR Edition, you begin with a blank canvas and a small set of minimalist buildings. Your goal is to populate and enrich each island with your creations, unlocking new buildings as you go by achieving a maximum score. Points are earned by carefully placing each building, being mindful of their surroundings like providing clear access to natural resources and making sure entry isn’t blocked.
When you’re ready, you can travel to a new land, exploring Islanders’ stunning new environments along the way, while building bigger, more expansive structures. The more you build, the higher your score will be and the grander city you’ll be able to gaze upon before starting all over again for just one more round.

Has a lot of potential. It’s fun to build islands but it is also not fun if your not building it for tiny people and make animals to run around and make the game like your a god and you have to protect the people on the island from disasters and evil people.
Crappy tutorial. The tutorial is impossible to understand and/or follow and it won’t go away. I haven’t even gotten to the game aspect of it yet because it won’t let me. I have no idea what that last step is telling me to do.
Terrible tutorial. Can't get past it. I'm very proficient in games. But this one is terrible with just symbols for the tutorials on what to do with the controllers at the beginning. I struggled to figure out what the animations meant. The last one where it shows a highlighted button that looks like a sun. I tried everything I knew and can't get that thing to go away. No video reviews out there mention the tutorials and how to get past them. Refunding until this is fixed.
Very disappointed. My grandson could work it as and a techie I found it confusing and pointkess without clear easy to understand instructions very disappointed 🙁
Relaxing City builder. I always loved sim city and civilization and the like... But they could be stressful. This is the zen version of those games, and you feel accomplished by earning better scores without feeling defeated at any point
Don’t work and no refund. After I realize that the game was not working I mediately requested I refund. It has been DAYS and I am still trying to get a refund and nothing. Don’t buy this.
New favorite game! I love this game with my all right now. It’s precise feel and calming atmosphere makes it a must have for VR players. I thought about getting little cities and saw that it can stressful so I downloaded this and have yet to regret it. You guys have done a great job and have a masterpiece on your hands! Thank you so much for this, I have enjoyed it a lot so far!
Not very impressed. I thought this would be a decent version of Little Cities but not very happy with this. Very limited building choices, pretty simplistic, not very intuitive to use. I’ll mess with it some more hoping to find out more but so far I’m glad I didn’t pay full price.
Addictive but relaxing at the same time. Almost perfect game apart from the tutorial at the beginning isn't clear at all and it was only through trial and error that I worked out the controls but once I got used to them it is top notch playability & engrossing to the max.
(Remove - and add a point instead of a * to get a surprise! Got a bunch of cozy/sim/adventure/casual games, go take a look if you're interested!)
Nice and cozy game! Loved the PC version, love the VR one

Islanders. Game listing says MR which I'm really hoping means mixed reality. Havent figured that out yet. Maybe get it for yourself and let me know if you figure it out? Get it 25 per/cent cheaper (just change the comma to a dot and remove spaces):
