I would like to say that I thoroughly enjoy playing your game. However, I do believe that there are a few features that could take the game to the next level and make it perfect.
Firstly, I would love to see some normal environments added to the game. While the creepy environments are certainly unique, it would be great to have some more traditional settings as well.
Additionally, I think the game would greatly benefit from a classic mode multiplayer option. This would add a new level of excitement and competition to the game.
It would also be amazing if you could add known songs to the game. While the current music is great, playing along to some of our favorite tunes would make the experience even more enjoyable.
Lastly, I think it would be fantastic if you could make the game a bit less creepy. While I understand that the spooky atmosphere is part of the game's charm, it can be a bit overwhelming at times.
On a final note, I would like to suggest that you create drumstick controllers for the game. This would be an incredible addition and would truly immerse players in the experience.
Highly recommend! If you are into music games this is a must have. The graphics are nice and the music isn't too bad plus there's different game modes and a guitar hero style game mode as well. If you want it for 25% off, screenshot my review and copy and paste the link into your browser and take out the spaces and fix the (dot)com! Happy Questing y'all!
Best game on the Quest! Now that I'm on the leaderboard for every song it's probably time I write a review.
So what makes it the best choice?
1. The Drums UI The drums float at you and you hit them when they're close enough. It's super easy to pickup and I went from having zero experience on drums to rocking out on Extreme in no time. It's just such an intuitive system and I think there's huge potential for it to be used for actual drum training sometime in the future.
2. Song Choice As of now, the songs are from smaller bands across different genres. There's no Metallica or Van Halen or anything super popular. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I prefer it that way. These smaller bands are getting exposure and I feel like the developers did a lot of research to find songs that would be a good fit.
I was surprised to find a couple songs from my own playlists on here like Not Human by Young Medicine, and got a few more songs to listen to regularly. There's a Smash Drums playlist on Spotify too, it's a great place to check out the songs to see if you like them, I recommend it.
3. Several Game Modes There are 3 main game modes, and a bunch of styles within those. Arcade has the Drums flying at you, and it's my favorite.
Classic mode is like Rockband or Guitar hero with a note highway. Definitely harder for newbies.
Stationary tries to emulate a real drum kit and gives you a few kits to choose from. It's kind of a hybrid of Classic and Arcade.
Oh and there's multiplayer too, where you can play cooperatively or competitively. Plenty to do.
Small nitpicks 5 stars is very hard to get, I think it requires 0 mistakes. I'd love if Stationary drums behaved same as Arcade, it's tough for me since it's different. If I could change the colors of Strong and Light drums separately it'd be amazing so I don't misread them in the song! Classic seems a bit too tough, replenishing life might fix it instead of like 5 mistakes to die.
Love it, go play it now! And devs, keep up the great work!
Buy game, practice game, love game. Arcade mode is amazing. Once you get the hang of how to play it's EASILY one of the BEST music games I've ever played. Having to hit some drums harder then others feels amazing, especially when you're nailing every note. The difficulty can be a bit frustrating as you play your first songs but as you get better so does the experience. Youll be sweating your butt off, arms sore but still want to play. It really is great. The 1 compliant I have is calibration. I don't know exactly what causes it but sometimes no matter what I do the game thinks I'm missing notes when im really not. Maybe a way to calibrate would help with this.

Amazing game, very well made. I would just like the possibility to use my own song or please, developers, add more famous songs! I killed the BFV or other classic, but we really need more..
Stellar Game. I have had this about 2 weeks. It tried it first on my girls headset which led me to actually get one of my own. This game is absolutely great. The songs, though not well known, are fun to play along with and definitely help those artists get some more attention. I can't complain about anything really. Just like anyone else who wants to see big title tracks, I feel the same. However I understand that working with record labels can be a pain in this but, so I'll just wait til some DLC comes out.
If I could suggest any music for DLC, definitely bring in some modern deathcire/death metal/metalcore and pop punk
Great game (but we anxiously await more). Excellent game, especially with the addition of the drum track that more resembles what we had in the Rock Band game.
I know we've been told that more well known artists are coming, but lately it's been pretty silent. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the songs we have been given (for free), but I'm ready to spend some money on bands we know and love.
I know that other rhythm game is much more popular, thus they probably have more pull, but they just landed one of the biggest Rock bands of all time. While I don't expect you guys to land bands of that caliber, it leaves us wondering when we will see something.
Excellent drum simulator. We need more songs, blues, jazz...there are really good show themes like the theme from True Blood...it would be great if you added more variety like that...it's been a while since I bought this app, and there has hardly been any new music...I much prefer this app to Beat Saber, but come on, they have so many more options of songs, they just came out with Queen...think about it...you are so much better!!.....Thanks!
Best rhythm game. Excellant game. Perfect for all budding rockstars without the need for an expensive drum kit. My only suggestion would be more famous songs from the likes of Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Metallica etc. I know it is probably a copy right cost issue.
Love this, music is great. There are a complaints that this game doesn't have mainstream artists, but I'm stoked to play and hear most of the tracks! I've even added some to my personal playlists on YouTube Music. You gotta open yourself up to new music. As the gameplay goes, it's super fun! I play songs over and over. The customizations are awesome--e.g. no fail mode, barbarian mode (no strength meter). So you can customize your experience. And you don't need to be a drummer to enjoy it. There are 4 difficulties per song and two different play modes. The only thing I'm unsure about is the point system. Many of the drum skin customizations are tens of thousands of points and I'm only earning like 6 points per track even when I do decent. Not a huge deal though. I recommend this game 100%!!!!
I dunno. Used to be fun. This game was fun when I could play casually on the weekends and try to boost my score up from 2 stars to 3 stars. But the scoring is ridiculous now since they changed it. Unless you are really willing to put a lot of time in, this game has become not good. It’s not for the casual player.
That includes actual drummers. I play drums. The scoring in this game is asinine. Once you hit a certain level anymore there’s no point unless you literally want to play like every day and go into practice mode. Otherwise you’ll lose interest quick.
It used to be more for casual gamers, now you really have to dedicate yourself to ridiculous levels. I dunno. Even on multiplayer, it matches you against people who are phenomenal at the game. Most people don’t have that time. I get it’s a niche market but… they made it more “niche.” Don’t recommend unless you have a lot of time on your hands.
Hard to explain but you’ll understand if you download it.
Best vr game for real feel drumming. This game has been executed very well and the great parts far outweigh the few parts that id prefer to be different.. despite personal preference theres no denying this game is a higher quality game and astonishingly its a independent developer game that continues to be updated.. the lack if pop music immediately becomes irrelevant once u play the game.. trust me when i say that drumming is drumming no matter what the popularity of the song is.. i wish this dev had a full team n a huge bank account so we could all see how far VR druming can go

素晴らしい!!Def needs a couple QOL features. これはとても楽しいかわいいゲームです。不気味な雰囲気が大好きで、あの男が "nooooo""stop "と言うたびに
Awesome!!Def needs a couple QOL features. This is such a fun cute game. Love the creepy atmosphere and whenever that dude goes “noooo” “stop”
A couple of things to modify as a classic mode player who’s used to playing rock band:
-ability to change speed of notes. The notes need a bit more breathing room with how many notes are flying down in the more advanced difficulties
-the health percentage seems counter intuitive as opposed to a performance bar that rises and falls. When I’m at 8% health I’m discouraged to even keep finishing out the song since I can’t save myself. Takes the joy out of vibing with a song.
-ui and multiplier needs to be on the side of the track. Not the top.
Yall have done an amazing job overall with so many adjustment options as is. Very well made stable game that feels right. Keep jamming guys! Can’t wait what you have planned for the future of it.
Generic Playlists. I played this game one time because there are no songs in the entire playlist that I’ve ever heard. Not one. Never heard of any of the artists in this game. There’s no Led Zeppelin, no Metallica, no AC/DC, nothing. Sorry, but if you don’t put some Foo Fighters or something on here, I’ll prolly delete it from my library and never play it again.
Don’t let the lack of top 40 dissuade U. At first I was put off by the fact there were no well known artists featured, but I’m open minded and I gave it a chance. It did not disappoint. A lot of the songs are catchy and very fun to play. It has a lot of mode options to make the game as user friendly as possible. This game is epic and I’m obsessed with it. It looks like they add new songs periodically and hopefully if enough customers request the option for custom songs they’ll eventually add that feature. Or maybe even a classic rock DLC.
My favorite game. This game is awesome! I've never played the drums so it was kinda tough at first but it was fun tough! Like one more time! I know I can do it tough. I started on easy and I thought extreme would be impossible but I play on extreme in multi-player now, which is really fun! It's a great upper arm workout. The songs are great, I've added a few to my real-life Playlist. I smash some drums everyday and I highly recommend it.
My favorite game and new workout! I was playing Smash Drums tonight and had a peculiar feeling that I only ever remember getting while playing music (I play trumpet). I feel like it's the closest experience I have ever had to feeling like I had a soul. I remember playing in symphonic band and actually losing myself in the music. Like my entire brain just got quiet because that part of me that loved music took over and I almost felt like I was the most zen I have ever been. I literally wasn't me and yet, more me than I have ever been. Playing music with others who can feel that too has been one of the greastest pleasures of my life. This game makes me feel that again and I am so grateful for it.
A smashing hit. A really fun game to play when I want to play amazing songs on drums. The songs in this are amazing. From fast paced rock to slow paced relaxing songs, each one has a unique play through that will never stop being fun. At first it was a challenge for me to play, now I’m slowly starting to get better at it. With the new mode called classic, it changes a lot and is a fun challenge! Although there aren’t much to do when customizing drums, I bet there will be more in the near future and will look million times better. Online mode is also fun to play when you want to put your skills to the test against other or with players. If you’re looking for a fun drumming game to jam to songs, this is for you and its still getting new songs and updates that I’m Excited for. 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rock on!
Love this game. This game gives me all the feels of Rockband but the virtual kit is so much more amazing compared to the old plastic set. I even found a few songs here that I had never heard that are now in my everyday rotation. I like a lot of the reviews I have read would love to have DLC of some killer bands. For me I would love a 70s and 80s rock and metal pack as well as 90s rock and even New metal. I feel all of those classics would do nothing but enhance an already awesome game. And of course if Guitar,Bass and vocals make there way here it would not hurt my feelings. Great game!! Thank you developers for giving us folks that loved the Guitar hero/Rockband games something awesome to jam on!!
