Space Invaders in VR. I love playing Space Invaders on my Atari 2600 as well as in the Arcade. This game is still new and under development and still has a long way to go before it is worthy of the Oculus Store.
1) The large pinkish platform should just be a small 5 foot round platform floating in space.
2) You should be able to move that round platform right/left using your joystick.
3) There is no time (not one second) between rounds. There needs to be a few seconds of downtime between rounds to reset yourself.
4) Put the hands (possibly arms) in a white spacesuit like you are a spaceman in space.
5) Need volume control for the music and FX
6) Need a leader board to know your previous scores and what you need to beat. Possibly a national or world leader board.
7) The score/ health and other information is in yellow block lettering the entire time you play and this is distracting. All we need is our score, score to beat (high score), and health in one straight line across the top and not behind the space aliens.
8) There is really nothing in VR except the little yellow balls that come towards you. Maybe if the asteroids around you moved by, got close then it would be more of a VR experience. Make the little yellow balls look more like a bomb. Different shape or something?
9) This game has potential. As a person pushing 60, we loved this game back in the 80s and want to play it in VR.
10) Need power-ups or free lives as you reach higher scores. Maybe be able to get bigger better guns? Possibly a shield for protection for a few seconds or something. WE NEED A REASON TO PLAY ON FURTHER AND CONTINUE TO PLAY.
