A great tool for organizing thoughts. I use nods just about daily for categorizing goals, organizing thoughts, and planning direction in my professional, personal, and small business endeavors.
It’s the missing tool that I never really knew I needed. Traditional mind-mapping was always so constraining to me - stuck in the frame of how you started on the paper, static, and constricting.
Nora solves all that by allowing you to manipulate your thoughts in 3D space.
Best there is. It's definitely lacking some features. But it's the best that there is for 3D mind mapping. I have had it for years, but only with Quest3 started to really use it. Give it a try and make sure to try to add some images into it. Can be really good to mindmap videos, you can watch a video within the app and take screenshots as the video progresses.
The Minority Report exp I'm waiting for. The title says it all, plus more. I've been mind mapping for 15 years and it's hard to describe the immersion of diving into a mind map in a virtual 3D space with another person. I was online with a friend thousands of miles away yet it was as if we were in the same room. Amazing! The controls are very initiative and after a well designed onboarding tutorial, you'll quickly get the hang of it. Oh and that voice dictation is CLUTCH! If you're on the fence - give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.
Fantastic App. The mechanics are great! I find this app useful both for creative outlining (screenplays, prose fiction, video game quests) and also for creating a visual timeline of project milestones. Very excited to see how this software develops going forward. A+
Amazing for productivity and creativity. Voice control is becoming outstanding in this product, you are somehow even more concentrated and in control of your attention while in VR, having that in mind, Noda app has everything to create those maps of great thought, ideas and how to make them reality of Your life, creators of this app maintains flexible communication and constantly are improving this app. Meditative music, interesting and inspiring Worlds around while working there, availability of huge variety of colors, shapes, moving among the objects, and lot's more, I am very happy and grateful that I found this product in existence!
Excellent use of mixed reality. Using NODA in both VR and mixed reality mode (particularly with pass-thru outlining on) is an excellent way to immerse yourself in a mindmap topic. Well done to the team for the continuous improvement. This is an excellent use case for mixed reality and I look forward to seeing how the platform improves with collaboration support, video production and deeper integration with other brainstorming tools.

Noda is okay: it needs more features. Noda in Mixed Reality has so much promise, but some feature updates would be nice.
1. We would like the ability to import & export mindmaps with 2D mindmap tools.
2. We would like the ability to fix the direction of all text labels in space so that they do not rotate with the users head as that causes motion sickness.
3. The option to have 3 sided (like a triangle) labels would allow labels to be read from any direction without rotation.
Please examine how Meta Quest app "Soft Space" uses a grid to fix the nodes in space, how the grid can be easily rotated, and how pictures & text can be slotted or merged into a node. Also examine how "Soft Space" makes use of generative AI, to auto generate mind maps from topics, to answer questions, and run searches on the web.
4. I want to be able to merge pictures & text into a single node.
Examine all the features of iThoughtsHD a 2D mind mapping application for additional feature ideas. Compared to iThoughtsHD this app is bare bones in terms of the number of features available for mindmapping.
I would have given it 3 stars, but because the Mixed Reality version is so mind blowing it gets 4 stars.
Excellent for spatial thinking. Guys, great job! Turned on the pass through and anchor, then go room to room tagging equipment with notes, links. So easy to tag a kanban link to a space.
Blown away! This app is sooo good! It really feels futuristic to organize your thoughts in VR. The most helpful thing is, that you can organize stuff undistracted :) I hope the hand tracking implementation will be improved so that I don’t need to use controllers at all - that’s the only nitpick :)
I'm obsessed. I had no idea how much of a positive impact using 3D spatial organizing could help me with working through complex ideas that I'm trying to express in long briefs I write for my job. I can see so much clearer where things do and don't connect, what's still missing, where inconsistencies in my organization are, etc. and i can throw random ideas over to the "side" in the same "room" rather than having 5 different google docs open (which i then forget about and create more docs the next time i work on the same piece of writing). Plus, I stay engaged more somehow. I keep being able to take a step back and look at everything, which is literally impossible to do in a two dimensional word doc that just scrolls up and down. Plus getting to use voice to text for any portion at any time helps me organize all my thoughts that pop up rather than just having an hour of random thoughts with no organization. THANK YOU to the person who developed this. I'm not a developer so I guess I don't notice the things that could be improved. So far I'm just really grateful this tool exists.

One request for the developer - please make the hand-tracking a fully viable option (and maybe add a tutorial) - it would be trully a next level experience with hand tracking, if it could do all that controllers can do! :)
omg what a scam. So i got a new headset and now i need to start building all over again, why well no idea and the helpdesk is as silent as the moon. And the commercials about logging in on your account on a laptop/desktop are fake, no option what so ever. Terrible!!! dont ever buy this ***** app! its just a scam. Please make more 1 star reviews to alert more people
