Children of Fafnir is a wholesome puzzle platformer where you must rescue a bunch of tiny dragons. Solve simple but satisfying puzzles by manipulating physics objects and controlling tiny dragons over a collection of fractured floating islands. Enjoy nice scenery, solve puzzles, save adorable dragons and experience a mysterious ending.
This is an early access demo version containing 7 levels, representing the first area of the game and accounting for roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour of gameplay.
The game is under active development and feedback is very welcome!
nice little physics puzzle platformer. really enjoyed this demo. hope it comes back in mixed reality. grip button for jumping not the most intuitive choice though 😅
Fresh as.... This is one of the most original and fresh VR games I have ever played.. Cannot wait for more of this game and ,ore from the developers. I am available for any Beta Testing or promotion!
Very cute and intuitive puzzler! Good fun and stokes the imagination! I still tell people about making some crazy bridge using like 20 ladders and a bunch of logs as counterweights lol.
At times, unfortunately it can feel a little forgettable and tedious. It was definitely short and didn’t explain concepts well. I must’ve spent 20 minutes being confused before I found out the dragons can fly in the last level.
What’s cool about this game though is that may have just been my approach because this game is so open ended.
If the developers start to add some more levels and play around with more physics based ideas like see saws and stuff, this game would take off. More interactive levels utilizing wind or geysers and different locations as you progress would go a long way.
I have before and shall continue to recommend this game. I hope the developers do something great with it!
Very cute little platformer. This demo has about 8 levels (I think) and they’re all so cute. You’re essentially directing little dragons around through obstacles, and platforms, to get to a magical puddle. Obstacles include large canyons you have to get across, caves, and train tracks.
Great game, but last 2 worlds glitch out. This is such a great little game... However, having a technical problem that means we can't finish it. Just two worlds left to do but no matter how many times we try, it always glitches us out, it just happens for no apparent reason, at no certain stage of levels, at start or half way through and it happens. Have tried everything, selecting sitting, standing, different guardian modes. Have checked possible connection/device issues... Nothing has worked and it is so frustrating (i have honestly, had to remind myself that it's an expensive bit of kit I'm using, in order to stop myself from smashing our quest to bits 😣😭) if anyone has had same issue and knows how to fix it, please share your wisdom 🙏🤣.
The reason it is so frustrating though, is because, it really is a great little game. Its different from anything else I've seen. It gets your brain working and for kids it is brilliant for problem solving skills. I'd happily pay for this game or ones like it. I'd give 5 stars if it wasn't for technical issue we are having.
similar playability to angry birds! Being a free applab demo/game, this feels like an actual oculus quest game as it is ab fab! The world is very cute, very cute weird little animal thingys. This game is fun for older people such as me and my kids love it too. It is like 3D lemmings. Amazing playability , def recommend for everyone to download
Free amazing platformer demo. I have 2 more puzzles left of about 7. This is a super fun and entertaining demo. This is relatively short, maybe taking like 40 mins to complete, but that's great for a demo! In this you have to help dragons get to water so they can grow their wings. You can move them, make them jump, run and you can move the objects in the world. Definitely get it! It is free so obviously worth a shot!
Cute puzzler keep adding to it! Sometimes I try games/apps and there isn't much to them even paid ones. Platform games/apps also tend to not be interactive like this and they lose my attention. This one has you actively moving parts and balancing objects to solve several puzzles where mini dragons need to get to their spots to fly in each small land. The last one is pretty cool too. A few of the puzzles took a bit, but after a few tries I was able to do them all. The only suggestion I have is the ability to adjust the height of the small lands. I couldn't see the highest pool spots and the top button on the last one was almost missed too. Otherwise, I have not seen something like this demo yet and that is really saying something. Keep up the great work with this project. It is definitely worth a try for those who haven't and will be an excellent addition to the oculus game/app platform.
Beautiful puzzles and delightful. First, thank you developers for this beautiful puzzle, I enjoyed it. More please. The Animation is joy to play and to watch. It is joyful and happy game. Great job. Please continue to add more , everyone will have a good time from it. Thank you
Really nice demo. Would definitely buy. If you add 100 levels, expand on the mechanics and maybe add better fitting voices this would be a no-brainer buy for me. Glad I gave it a go, wishing I had more levels to play though now though.
