Bad course design. This game has the best physics, best art, but the course design is terrible. Especially the cloudy one where you cant even see where you're supposed to throw. Get the other disc golf game instead even the the physics in that one aren't quite as good, the courses in that game are actually fun to play. The best thing about this game is the driving range which is pretty fun but you can play that in the demo. Full game feels like a RIP off.

Only thing I would like more is easier to throw short and long distance with like a power meter or something because throws are a little inaccurate but overall great game
Ps. Also add custom maps so everyone can create and play everybody's created courses and free or paid dlc if you would like
Amazing mechanics and huge potential. The devs of this game have done an amazing job on the mechanics of throwing a disc in VR. It’s not easy, but does allow for shot shaping. I’ve gotten a lot better with practice, and successfully executing a shot is very rewarding. You can tell the devs have a true passion for disc golf from the attention to details.
This game does need more courses and discs imho. I would happily pay for more! I love supporting amazing devs who you can tell really care about and enjoy disc golf.
Beware - Dev no longer updating. Yes I too like this game but per the games discord the Dev has indefinitely stopped working on this which is unfortunate. If you want to pay for a game that won't be updated that's up to you, it's fun but no bug will get worked out every again.
It's a good game. Playability will be limited so choose wisely. 2 stars for great gameplay.

Word Dev is a d-bagg. Whoever runs the discord is a sensitive d-bagg I hate I bought this game don't do it. He kept kicking me out cause I said the multiplayer is trash and still is. Also there is no goal to reach in this game it gets boring quick but all the people who said that guy is a d-bagg are spot on
Great game, add in game sound adjustment. This game is a blast. Could you please add in game volume adjustment for the sounds in the background and music? It is very hard to hear my party because the game volume is so loud.

UPDATED: Developer harassment. The developer of this game, Alexander Van Halen, PM'd me via Discord using a fake alias and verbally harrased me after leaving this review. He has supposedly done this to other discord members of a competitor's disc golf game. Incredibly unprofessional and absurd behavior. Please avoid this app and do not support this so-called developer.

True Review! The steam games that claim to be disc golf games are not even close to the level that disc benders is at. its honestly the best VR disc golf you can get. if you play disc golf please back this game and give it the notice it deserves.
Great presentation and features. I really am glad I've supported the development of this game. I own multiple VR disc golf games and enjoy them all for different reasons. Disc Benders has some really great presentation and ideas. It does need some physics work IMHO, but the dev has been very responsive to feedback, including implementing some of my suggestions.
Excellent VR Disc Golf Experience!! As an avid disc golfer IRL I am a very hopeful but harsh critic of this game. That being said I’ve been playing it for a while now and I love it. The developer cares deeply about bringing us the most realistic disc physics and it shows in both flight paths and ground play. It’s incredibly rewarding and also heart breaking just like the real thing. Single player is awesome but multiplayer is a blast too so remember to join the discord channel to look for games. I am a Q2 user btw.
Fun game. Overall I am really enjoying this game. I think it has a lot of potential. One thing I would like to see improved in this game is the throwing mechanics. I feel like it is difficult to get a good flight out of a disc and I wish there where more disc options.
Getting better! Before the update, I really wasn’t a fan of this game because you had to throw way too hard for the disc to go anywhere, which led me to throwing my controller, ripping the wrist strap out of it, and sending it into my wall. It also seemed impossible to actually be consistent, which was very frustrating because I wasn’t getting any better after hours of play.
After the update, however, it’s my new favorite game. You don’t have to throw so hard, and it’s much easier to hit lines now. It’s still not as easy as it is in real life though because you do have to think about releasing the trigger, while in real life, the disc rips out of your hand, and you don’t have to think about actually releasing the disc.
My only real suggestion is to make the putting a little more realistic. I putt nose down in real life and in the game. In real life, the disc gets to the highest point, and then dives down. In the game, it doesn’t really dive. It just flies in a perfect arch like a ball would. Also, I can’t figure out how to throw a forehand for the life of me!
There is definitely room for improvement, but that’s absolutely fine, It’s still in development. Like I said, this is already my favorite VR game, and it’s going to continue to get better because the developers are still involved in the game unlike the DGV devs who we haven’t heard from in months!
My arm hurts lol. This is a really good Golf game but there are some things I like to point out as an actual DIsc Golf player. Let's star with the good.
Graphics are fresh and fun. Cartoon looking but not child like.
Gameplay feels realistic and addictive.
Courses are designed in a relaxing environments. Sounds are good. I love how the disc look pop out at you.
Best disc golf game there is and one of the top vr experiences as far as immersion. Addictive!
Things that can be worked on.
The fact you need two controllers is not what I went with. Real players shoot with nothing in thier other hand. So when I shoot I don't havev the other controller in my hand so it feels alot more natural.
Tap in's
When you get near the basket in makes you tap in as I found my self not liking this method. I would like to have control when to tap it in.
Course are fun but I like to see more short but challenging holes. Some of these holes take a lot of shots and that's fine but the appeal of mini golf is the shortness and challenging approach of it. Would like to see more of that in here.
Shooting.
Shooting can feel very fun and frustrating. It's tricky as in real life but I feel real life is easier due to you actually let go of the disc as to the game you pull a trigger so it just needs to have a bit more momentum and have more natural feeling of release. Still feels fun throwing.
Over all. Very simply awesome but needs some updates. I totally support the game at 15.00$
Fantastic VR Disc Golf experience. Even if you're not a disc golfer in the real world, this game is well worth bringing some friends into the VR world. Great immersion and pretty realistic. The developer is doing a great job and seems to be adding great content frequently.
Great disc golf game. I have played this game since the initial sidequest upload. I still think it's the best disc golf option in VR (least for quest). The progress made on the game since launch has been awesome. I believe the price is a little high for the current status of the game with the current bugs/issues though minor. I have gotten more than the price out of play time so far. Looking forward to additional maps, more features, etc.
