And not just any sport, but a sport that I love. It's even better than real table tennis because you don't need a table and other equipment, you don't need a partner, and you don't even need enough space for a table. In my room, there is only 2.10 by 2.30 meters of free space and that's enough. It's not just a game, it's a real miracle. This is the future that has already arrived. Awesome game BUT....but nothing! Perfect. Latest and final update. Ignore any aspect of the negativity below because it’s now a perfect ping pong game and I can’t see how it can get better honestly. I love you mr. Mrs. developer. You rule so hard. You’re the reason this VR community is so amazing and boundless. My issue was with the online community, which hassled me. This developer immediately reached out and pointed out options to ease my frustration. I knew this all before but wasn’t satisfied.
The game was updated a few days after my initial review and I can’t help but think that when the work to update was being done, I was somewhere there in their thoughts, because it’s now perfect.
Don’t even read my review just get this game it’s perfect a million times over.

Now below is my initial review which I’ll keep to show you what improvement was being done soon after. I’m not taking full responsibility here mind you.
I’d get this game if you know you have friends to play with. It’s so real it’s ridiculous. I fell on the floor trying to balance myself off of a virtual ping pong table 😂 That’s awesome!
BUT....
If you don’t have any friends to initially play with, like myself....
Curb the online players please!
It’s rife with “pro” toolbags just looking to up their online points status.
The most unsportsmanlike thing you can do.
How do they even enjoy themselves???
I certainly always look for a challenge, but I’m not glutton for punishment. I’d like to learn, not get destroyed.
I’m telling you. Players can see your scores, and despite that all the “pros” just constantly proposition me, a dude with like two wins out of 20 games....
Let’s get fair match ups please. I won’t be back until then.
Game is very impressive though. If you have friends to play with, you should get it.
It’s a job well done really. Deserves 5 stars if it wasn’t for the multiplayer section.
I understand freedom is important, but maybe there can be a better system for this. Cause this game truly is fantastic.
You can do spins and all sorts of true to life techniques on there. Super impressive and I kindly thank the developer for this.
UPDATE: The developer is right, and it’s irresponsible of me to not have mentioned this. You totally have the freedom to choose if you want to play a ranked match or not.
So here’s my issue. It’s the players! Not the developer.
I found many who did not want to play unranked, and eventually I just decided I’ll wait for my friends to play. Two of them just got this so I’m excited.
ALSO!
You can totally practice with multiple options with a robot and or an AI and it’s VERY helpful for learning how to do all sorts of different swings and how to work on posture and technique.
I also met nice people on there too.
It should probably get 5 stars, but the community somewhat irks me still.

Best simulation in VR. Perfect game. If you like table tennis at all or are interested in learning, do this one. It's true value is in playing with friends for me. Feels like they're in the room with me. Fantastic. And yes, your real life skills transfer. And yes you can improve your real life skills with this.

AI is defphobic imao. I play defensive style so my chops n blocks are usually the most effective for me. Playing with bots the only right strategy is combination of force and topspin. My play style bases on tricky shots with unconvenient spin and unexpected combinations. But playing with bots dont even try these, I may attempt the craziest rally of chops from under the table but the only result is that responses will be mostly no spin easy return. In order to actually score you need to go with topspin and there is no way round. Bots seem to be quite unbalanced afterall. Multplayer is an option as long as your connection is stable. Playing online with a lag is a pure pain. Also notice worthy is that performing some higher level serves is hard due to poor feedback from ball touch (just sound and visuals limited by fov). To sum up, game is eorth buying and complaints comes from hours devoted on playing so 4/5 stars are well deserved.
you like table tennis, you will love it. I have a real table tennis on my garage, but keep playing this game because I can always find someone to play against (my wife and kid are not good enough 😂) and its the closest experience to play irl
Play almost 30 minutes every day, and then a shower. I take it seriously 😅
I want to mention to the DEVS that my microphone is not working in the game: tried everything, checked oculus settings, app settings and nothing seems to make it work. Any suggestions???

I played it so I could actually compete at my annual dude fantasy football weekend. And to my surprise, it absolutely translate to reality in bettering my game.
Great for short bursts of gameplay or long sessions.

Amazing. I bought a cv1 to try this game out. I then immediately upgraded to meta quest 2. Simply put, this game is sublime. Is it exactly like real life... ALMOST! It is getting me into shape and actually is improving my decision making, nerves and strategic thinking in real life table tennis. My strokes are actually improving as well! I am a decent club player, used to train daily and enter competitions in Taiwan. Now I live in a place without as many high level players. This game hits the spot x 1000000. Get it if you're at all intrigued, it is WORTH IT!
The best game just gets better. This game was the best even before the UI improvements, but now it has become even better and polished. If you like table tennis IRL, this is the game for you. It is even better than real life, since you don't have to pick up the balls from the ground. And you can play online with other players, and it is the most polite and friendly online gameplay I have ever experienced. Please be careful though. The table is not real and you can't use it for support while smashing!

Game that realized my childhood wish. I've always loved table tennis, but didn't often get the chance to play it. And when I did, it was not nearly enough. Thanks to this brilliant game, I can play it whenever I want without needing a real life opponent or any equipment. It's too good to be true, but it is true. Thank you VR and thank you For Fun Labs For giving me something I've always wished to have. A few suggestions if you care: - Please make it so clicking A/X hides the menu on the left in free practice mode. - An option to turn down opponent avatar's brightness would be nice, some people wear stuff that are so bright that it makes the ball hard to see even with different color balls. - I'm sure a lot of people requested pass-through already, but I'd like a way to place furnitures in the environments so that we can set our boundaries that way.

Can't stop playing. By far the best sports game on Oculus quest 2. It is very competitive and nice to talk to other players it is fun and the exercise is awesome. I'm drenched with sweat and having a blast. I'd pay 60$ for this game. Great job on this game guys.
Update the game has slowed down and become crap due to having avatars 3rd time they have done this 3rd time it has slowed the game down. Developers y'all got to do better. Everyone I have talked to says this new version is trash. Why do y'all insist on changing the game for worse???

Review: I had my dad over and he tried VR for the first time. Back in the days, my dad was a professional table tennis player. So I bought this game and let him try it. He was flashed and I was too. It is the best sports VR game on the quest. The gameplay, physics and AI-Enemys are so on point.

Brilliant Physics (25 % off). This game is undoubtedly the best VR table tennis game. Everything from the physics and the amazing multiplayer mode is well developed. My only suggestion would be reducing lag; I have good WiFi and play a multitude of other VR games without issues but this game occasionally lags.
