Best Game Ever! I picked up this game about a month ago on the 30th on October and I am not disappointed. The physics is great, good locations, good community, and very good tools. The only thing I have to say to improve this already perfect Game is to add more customization. I don't mean a dlc, but adding unlockable helmets and hats at certain benchmarks in your ranked level or certain amounts of wins, maybe some adjustable racket colors. And maybe even a way to get some more locations like a beach or maybe in a futuristic place. Overall a 5/5 and nothing can bring this game down.
Amazing. I bought this game around a month ago and to say i am happy with my purchase is an understatement! This game is extremely realistic and can be played for hours without being bored at all. The game always has load of people online, you will always find a match whether It is 3am or 5pm.
Good fun. It almost feels like real life ping pong. The way the bat hits the table , how the ball bounces.....just everything is on point in this game. It's already on the quest for such a long time but it still is one of the better sports games. Definitely recommended!
One tiny little negative point.....the background music is just really annoyingly repetitive. Is there a way to get more choices in types of tunes or YouTube or Spotify maybe?
Best VR game by a country mile. I’ve only given it 5 stars cos it only goes up to 5 Id give it 100 if I could Quite simply life changing for me and I’m not the only one It’s as real as it could possibly be apart from the avatars The game plays seamlessly and when in ranked play I always get an opponent within half a minute Usually seconds Met some fabulous people on here and played some amazing end to end games I’m finally getting the exorcise I need without leaving the house
ID LOVE TO HAVE MORE LOCATIONS!!! Gotta say this game is a 10 out of 5. But I don’t think it needs to be a true simulation!
I’d love more location, avatar, and paddle options. Think outside the box. Think rocket league skins/environments!
Locations that could be fun: Beach. Dojo. Wild west. Typical bar. Coffee lounge. Forest. Hangar. Arcade. Skate park. Actual park. Alien planet. Space ship. In space. A mini place where you’re the size of a toy. Medieval themed. Medieval tavern. RPG tavern. Purple forest. Mushroom forest. The list goes on and on. Heck you could even charge for “location packs.” See nintendo games. Mario kart tracks, smash levels and whatnot.
Avatars and paddles: Maybe skin unlocks to “show off” your rank. Everyone loves to show off their gear. Look at rocket league, fortnite, wow, street fighter. Maybe some different color options. Head options. Paddle decals. Paddle handles. Could even introduce actual brands if you can make the legal partnership.
Name plates and borders: See rocket league
You have all mechanics so perfected. Now you can focus on aesthetic things. Plus they can be more incentive to play!
I know I’m referencing rocket league a lot. But it just keeps you coming back. I know it’s a lot of man power, but I think that’s the only direction to go now other than debugging and whatnot.
Best tabletennis game ever. The app is so realistic and simplistic so perfect for a table tennis player like me who loves to play the game. The game is just so perfect and simple . The physics of the game is as close to real life but the bat feels a little big light weight compared to real life which can be acceptable. The concept and understanding of my table tennis game improved after playing eleven though real life game is completely different compared to the vr one. It's simplest and most realistic game ever I have played
I love the physics of this game ... I used to play tennis before irl for a short period of time and u know how u can "slice" or brush the ball to make it turn in air and change direction when it hits the table or the ground ? Thats completely accurate in this game and i just love it .
For devs :
When i open the game it always prompts me to enable microphone and i disable it . But once i was online a'd wanted to say a few words so i pressed the button on the left in UI that enables microphone . But after i said my se'tence i turned to the same area to tuen off the mic and the button wasnt there . It would be nice if we could re disable/enable microphone on the fly . Or use a button for push to talk .
BEST VR Game!! ETT was the driver behind my purchase of Q2, and it has been a blast! Very realistic sim, nearly 1 to 1 to real life. Train using ball machine, or ai to prepare you for matches against real players. Do yourself a favour, buy this game and get a SolidSlime adaptor, and it’ll feel like you’re playing the real thing. Now you no longer need to buy a ball machine to train at home!
Old man vs young mans game. I want to start out saying just how much fun this game is. How frustratingly realistic it is and how much it is helping an old man. I am 54, overweight, had a stroke about 10 years ago that tool my left side. I'm only about 30% usage on that side. This game is very good exercise for me. I have been a gamer all my life and only found vr about a month or so ago. My 2 favorite games for exercise and fun is beat sabre and Eleven table tennis.
This game doesn't really help my left arm at all (which is where beat sabre comes into play) but this game takes me back to when I was much younger and played as a kid. My last real table tennis game was probably 15 years ago and I remember being more tired from chasing the dang ball around the floor then actually playing. Now in vr, its all play and no chasing the stupid ball. It can not hyped enough. This alone speeds up the games like crazy. You can get soooo much more play time in, in short sessions that its unreal.
Overall, I really like this game. Its a bit of a learning curve when it comes to the paddle configuration. That can make such a difference in your game that I think one of the great improvements this game could make is to have more default paddle configuration options already to choose from because Its not really well explained on how those settings can really change the feel of your racket.
This game should be a must buy for everyone in my opinion. It will really get you moving.
This is worth the $299 for a Quest 2. My mind was blown how realistic this feels compared to the real thing. I played competitively many years ago, and was taught some methods of top spin and how to defensive 'chop' the ball. You can do this. And it feels so good.
Include the fact that online multiplayer is seamless and has yet to give any issues.
I feel like my entire purchase of a Quest 2 is validated due to this game.
Best VR game ! There is no other game that makes more use of the current VR systems in terms of motion tracking and overall game immersion. The physics are spot on, it's tons of fun and I personally use it as a daily workout. The Multi-player mode works great, you get matched up with other players with the skill level of your choice. Very competitive at the top with many players coming from IRL table tennis.
Love Eleven VR. Physics aren't perfect, but still quite excellent. I play practically every day for about an hour as part of my exercise program. It has played a big role in my weight loss. It helps keep my 68 year old body moving. Very satisfying to be able to hang with the younger folks competitively. Highly recommended!
If you like table tennis, get it now. If you like table tennis, just get it. Don't think twice. The preceding (positive) reviews citing the game's accuracy are accurate - it's so close to the real thing. I make the same mistakes in the game that I would in real life. The only limitation is the weight of the paddle in your hand. Just stop scrolling and get it.
Best game on Quest 2,with some flaws. I have put roughly 300 hours into this game. It's truly amazing. However, as a semi-pro table tennis player in real life, there are some glaring flaws with the game if you're playing at an intermediate/higher level : + Paddle has sweet spot everywhere : in real-life, hitting the ball clean is harder because sweet spot is much smaller - in Eleven it's easier to do consistent strokes/serves, anything really because the ball seems to just go where you want to go. In real life it's much much harder to do this. This could lead to bad technique for real-life players + Ball is unrealistically spinny : Spins are generated much easier than in real-life (around 1.5 times more), both due to paddle settings able to be set at 99 Spin and due to bad physics. + Serves are exploited : In real-life, fast top-spin serves are dangerous moves that must be pulled out as a surprise because they can easily be looped. In Eleven, the sweet spot racket + not perfect physics allow fast top-spin serve to reach unrealistic speed and topspin. Could be very very annoying to play multiplayer against a player who's just exploiting this. Spinny serves are also much easier to do - again due to sweet spot and paddle settings issues I mention. This lead to many weak players serving weird motions that are impossible in real-life, or generating unrealistic sidespin. + Physics sometimes iffy : Ball meant to be smashes go down much faster - making the smash a hard part in the game, short touches float longer. Overall - it's still the BEST sports simulator/game on the Quest 2, but it's certainly not flawless. I hope the devs can fix these issues to make it as close as possible to reality if possible. I wish them all the best
Love this game. I love this game so much. Never gets boring and I can play it for hours without realizing ha. Love the mini games and the training you can do. Love that you can play against other people online. Lots of fun. I had convinced many people to get an oculus just for this game they had so much fun. Would highly recommend this game.
My wish one day is to have something like golf+ where you can pick music or playlists. Having Netflix would be sweet too. There is a TV already in background so would be perfect there. Or just the ability to play other music would be awesome.
Great game! I have struggled to find good games other than beat saber on quest 2 that I’ve really enjoyed. Downloaded this one because of the great reviews and it was on sale and it didn’t disappoint. This is the first review I’ve written but it’s one of the best I’ve seen so far. Very realistic and so fun to play. If you ever played ping pong (or wanted to learn) this is a must have. Would have been happy to pay full price for this one.
