Loved it. Easy platformer with really nice graphics. Easy for the story mode but if you want to complete the RED COIN SEARCH and all speed runs, it is a challenge.
Didn't have any issues with camera move. In my opinion, Lucky is better than VEN as a Quest platformer
Very nice and kind game. It's a perfect kid's game that can be played by adults. It's like a sonic game, but in 3D. Simples mechanic but difficult levels. I really liked!
Language. It’s a good little game but when we started accidentally somehow choose Chinese and now we stuck with it would be helpful to see how to change that as I didn’t have any success of fining information about that
A matter of taste and expectations. I generally prefer giving 5 stars and writing nice reviews in general, and have thought about whether to be nice about “Lucky” and his developers, who will have put some hard work and care into the game.
Alas, what appeared as a fun and well produced platformer at first (the Quest 2 doesn’t have a lot of those, unfortunately) turned into a repetitive, uninventive and frustrating game for me after a while.
“Lucky” isn’t the absolutely incomparable, polished, creative, wondrous “Astro Bot”, nor likely could be in terms of investment and budget. However, small loving details would’ve helped; instead, the levels are all very samey without surprised or novelties. They feel lacklustre very quick.
Worst of all - other reviewers have also mentioned this - is the (to me) kinda unlikely “naughty” boy character of Lucky the fox. He talks and vocalises constantly, in a way reminiscent of the sort of boy that’s Dennis the Menace or Kevin from Home Alone. It’s so repetitive and annoying and at some point you just don’t want to hear these constant reactions anymore with every jump, look, hesitation etc. I will assume the developers meant well, but divisive character portrayals that are voice acted a bit too cheeky or cocky can get on your nerves if thats a character trait you dislike.
Nothing else is worth mentioning either; some challenges and jumps are needlessly difficult, others are far too easy. There is no real profession in the game in many levels.
This feels like a very polished INDIE platformer by comparison. Perhaps one should expect more. Kids with low expectations will probably love the game and it’s environments for lack of better option. It’s been a fail for me and a waste of money, but if you’re not particularly fussed and just want to jump around and onto enemies in a colourful environment, then give it a try.
Worn out Temple. I liked this game at first. Then came worn out temple level..long jump in the 1st part of this world is almost impossible..when a developer makes moves like this they are asking for a won't buy again review.
Wonderful!). Very enjoyable and fun vr platformer! Great immersive environments with one of the sharpest and well polished graphics on Quest 2! Awesome gameplay with nice kindly atmosphere and amazing sounds, makes this game also perfect choice for kids as well!)
The Best Platform game with 25% OFF. Loved every minute of this charming Mario like adventure. Has the cutest graphics currently on Quest. Don’t get if you don’t like platforming games. 100% get if you love them and want the closest thing to Mario. It was either out of this or Vex but I don’t like the look of Vex.
What you see is what you get. But the flat 2D trailer does it no justice. Platforming in VR is so good compared to console.
You won’t regret the purchase trust me. Here’s 25% OFF to help you make the right decision.
Surprised it's not more popular. This game is straight up like Mario in VR. TONS of fun and honestly should be one of the first VR games ppl should experience. highly recommend
Fun game 25% off. I love platformers. This one was a little easy especially first 5 levels. Highly recommended for newbies or less experienced, would be challenging for younger ones. Still enjoyable for me. Here's 25% off if interested
Love this game. I purchased this game as already have on the switch and it does not disappoint graphics are fantastic. If I could ask for one suggestion? please add at comfort option to help with motion sickness felt rather sick after playing for half hour.
Highly recommend this game, You won't be disappointed 😊
Could be a great game but... I got pulled in by all the positive reviews of this game. And, as I love platformer games, I figured this would be just my cup of tea.
While the game is what it promises to be, it's also got a bunch of annoying details. Like, the main character is like an 8-year-old kid with overly emphasized oofs and whees and always almost tumbling over -kinda hyper. I'm usually more or less fine with stuff like this even if I don't particularly like kids, but Lucky just gets on my nerves. As do the way too childish design of the enemies.
However, I'm more disappointed by the fixed camera angle. There's no way to turn your view to have a better look, you can only keep pressing the Oculus button and try to work it out. The view also comes up way too close, so at many points of the game I had to directly look down to actually see things, and this made my neck achy.
Would've returned this but, apparently, I can't as I got this game as a part of a bundle and despite already owning the other game Oculus prevents me from getting a refund.
Easily Top 3 on Oculus =D. This is an AMAZING way to play platforming games - I wish more games like this existed. Game itself is full of content to entertain for hours - suuuuper fun to physically look around you for secrets and hidden coins =D
I've watched multiple videos and read countless lists of "best games on Oculus" but no mention of this (which I find almost unacceptable - because this is easily top 3 for me)
If you're reading reviews to decide whether to buy this... take my advice and just do it. Well worth the purchase - you won't be sorry :)
Wrong language. My so has purchased this game but put it in French by mistake, and we can not figure out how to change it to English.. so unfortunately he has lost interest in this.
