I’m a big fan!! I started to play The Room since it came out in Apple Store years ago. I have played all The Room games and I was so happy to see it’s available in VR version. It’s the first game I purchased after I bought Quest 2 without any hesitation. Holy moly. Never disappoint! Thank you for making such great games. I hope they are cooking a new games for us to play soon.
Amazing!!!!! I’m new to VR but love games where you have to solve problems as you go on your adventure. I think this game has spoiled it for me as I don’t think I’ll ever find a game that matches it. It’s so beautifully done and the sounds/ music/ whispers add so much to the atmosphere. It definitely has some creepy times, but no surprise scares. I don’t know what else to say besides “ go get it, you won’t regret it! “.
ワクワクする！VRはクリスマスに買ったばかりで、かなり初心者なんだ。I Expect You To Dieのゲームを見つけて、それが大好きになった。その後、パズルゲームにハマり、もっと何かやりたくなった。このゲームを勧められたので、やってみようと思ったんだ。ちょっと不気味で、首の毛が逆立つようなこともある。グラフィックは素晴らしいし、パズルは時に挑戦的だ。必要なら画面上にヒントが表示されるのもいい。唯一の不満は、もっと長くやってほしかったこと。次作が出るのが待ち遠しい。

Exciting! I'm pretty new to VR, as I just got it for Christmas. I found the I Expect You To Die games, and loved those. After that, I was hooked on the puzzle games and wanted something more. This game was recommended to me, so I figured I'd give it a go... and man does it suck you in. It gives you a bit of eeriness and make the hair on your neck stand up at times. The graphics are great, and the puzzles are challenging at times. I do like that there are on-screen hints to help you through if needed. My only complaint is I wish the game was longer. Can't wait for another one to come out.
Superb. This was my first completed game with my new VR. Wow! My wife and I love escape rooms and this truly scratched the itch and at a fraction of the cost. I feel the puzzles balanced difficulty without becoming frustratingly complex for no reason. My wife and I used the game as a date night with one of use mirroring the action on an iPad and switching roles. Just get it. You will be pleased.
Best adventure game in VR. It has been a great experience a deep history with very good graphics and well made puzzles. I know that there are several “flat screen” Room games, I hope they bring them to VR too, since I would buy any otrherRoom game that they bring to VR.
My Absolute Favorite VR Game. Oh WOW, where to start!? This was the first game I played on VR when I got it for Christmas- and oh my goodness I am SO glad that I did.
On a personal note, I love horror. Like, a LOT. And Lovecraftian horror? Buddddyyyy I am in hog heaven. My favorite type of horror is the strange and unknown, psychological and emotional. I got in expecting a turn of the century crime who-dunnit, and it made a hard turn to Lovecraft country very quickly and early on. Much to my happy surprise, it kept getting stranger and darker with each new room - culminating in an ending that left me begging for another installment.
I've never played escape rooms, so the format was a first for me. I quickly realized I absolutely love it. The puzzles weren't terribly difficult, but it kept me guessing and with every new surprise and lens it kept the gameplay fresh and interesting. The lens upgrades are really fascinating- and I especially love the dynamic of shrinking down and portaling into small spaces. The way that dynamic is portrayed with you floating in a red crystalline path is just....::chef's kiss::
One thing it's not is scary, and that's ok - there were a lot of moments that I felt my heart beating and definitely hesitated before going in (The Witches Hut had a lot of those Nuh UHHH moments for me lol). But there are no jumpscares and the fear is purely atmospheric, which honestly is refreshing because I feel like they could have cheapened out with a lot of hokey scares. Glad they didn't, I think it strikes the perfect tone.
Honestly, this may be my first VR game but it's still my favorite. I've played quite a few more games since I've gotten it and this is still the one I rank at the top.
My ONLY complaint is that it wasn't longer - I wanted to stay in this macabre tale and uncover more mysteries and was so sad that it ended as quickly as it did. If you're on the fence or just looking for something new to play, get this one ASAP! It's an experience you won't soon forget.
Like a book you just can't put down! Loved The Room VR! Amazing settings and beautifully realized, the story progresses in an absorbing way and the puzzles are a mix of challenging and intuitive but all make sense and are a lot of fun to do without getting repetitive. The set is immersive, so much so that I wish it was possible to simply walk between teleport locations if you had the option to create huge boundaries. Even so, the attention to detail is great and it was a very satisfying game to complete, I just wish it was longer! Now I have to wait for the next The Room game to come out :-)
This game is the best! This game is absolutely amazing!!! I played many VR games, and this one by far is my favorite. However, now that I have completed the game, I have been waiting for over a year to see if they would come out with a second version of this and nothing so far. Please come out with more versions!! I kid you not, this game is addicting and you won't be let down.
AMAZING! I'm like 2 days new to oculus and just finished this game and kinda wish I didnt start with it being so new to using VR because it was SO GOOD that I feel like any others I try im going to be disappointed! PLEASE MAKE MORE LIKE THIS ONE! or if there is more then I need to know about them! If I could rate 10 stars I would! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
