The gameplay style of shooting to a beat was not met with this game. Pistol Whip is a rhythm game that uses beats and guns correctly. This is a quick cash grab for the devs. And considering that i have not seen a single update for this game with such little content to start out with. I've had this game sometime around the spring of 2023. With not a single update, and even if there was one, there wasnt anything important with it
Never buy this game its a complete waste of money Beat saber, Audica, Synth Riders, and Pistol whip, Ragnarock are good rhythm games, try those, not this garbage
Ugh. First game I bought... and instant regret... am I even happy I bought the quest 3? Really hoping my next selection isn't a game that makes me wish I'd have used the money for toilet paper instead.
bad game. the game is meant to be a rhythm game, i get that. but there’s no reason for the slow fate of fire. i want to return this game so badly because of how much it refuses a faster paced play-through, even if you dual wield. stupid rate of fire, subpar songs go and make some fire or suck my balls.

terribly optimized and pointless. the game runs at 36 fps ( checked with OVR metrics ). the graphics are very simple and the arenas are small so there is no excuse for the atrocious performance the movement of the enemies and bullets is choppy which is unacceptable in a rhythm Game.
also only Your guns must be flred to the beat. the movements and attacks of the enemies aren't synched to the music as You would expect from rhythm based games such as necrodancer or bullets per minute.

Great fun! Great music! It's always going to be tough to follow in the footsteps of Pistol Whip, but Gun Jam VR is a superb alternative if you're looking for more of the same.
The enemies and guns are varied enough for this to feel different to Pistol Whip.
Not quite as polished as Pistol Whip, however it's very well presented, the guns feel great, and the music is very good.
I love the weapons. Please provide a mode where you don't have to shoot to the beat and up the fire rate on the guns, as well as enabling the option to fire them at the same time.
Very fun. This game is very fun and fantastic I love how u shoot to the beat and ur moving around trying not to get shot in real life and the stages gets hard as u progress I really had a good time playing this can y’all have a update to have more guns and more stages and have a update to move the song beat thing up so we can see when to shoot on point other than that I love it it’s a workout and shout out to the devs for making this game thanks guys 😀😀😀

Not bad but also not addictive... Main cons: It is a rythm game where you have to shhot to the beat. But the beat you have to shoot to is always the same regardless of what music plays ATM. Also the difficulty is rather challenging to unfair because of the limitations in dodging. And since the games progression system is linear., there is no way to see all the content without beating the levels in linear progression. The choice of music is masculin HipHopish. Pros: The rest of the game is quite good. Aspecialy the graphics are very nice made. The gunplay and gun styles are very well designed.
Absolute Blast. This game is exactly what I had hoped for since I first saw it in the Coming Soon section. The music is fantastic and works well. I like that you're able to hold 2 different guns at the same time for clearing out groups vs a single enemy. It looks and plays similarly to MotherGunship Forge, but with a focus on the music instead of the weapon creation. Also, the ability to use your surroundings to kill enemies gave me some old school Bulletstorm vibes. I'm having an absolute blast with this one and can't wait to play more!
Not Bad but Could be Better. I played the demo to the PC version a while back. It was cool. I was excited to see this game come to VR. So, I grabbed it. In hindsight the game isn't bad. But I found myself getting bored quickly by just standing still and shooting at the targets. Games like Pistol Whip, Against and even Beat Blaster are fun because you are constantly moving and the enemies are coming towards you. I think if Gun Jam added that component it would be a little less boring to me. But there's time and hope. The game just came out so I'm interested seeing where it goes to provide a bit more of a challenge.
Wow wow wow. Everything I wanted Pistol Whip to be but I never knew to ask. Very well optimized for me: 1. You shoot things and they explode, great fun :) The explosion graphics literally have the word "boom" in them sometimes, yay :) 2. It's a workout, somehow. I finish levels here sweating, and my leg muscles are tight the next day, but it doesn't feel "hard" while playing, it feels like shooting things (and sometimes I have to duck away from enemies, but it.. feels secondary? probably not, I guess)
It's also really interesting that the game isn't "opinionated" about what kind of workout I do. I can walk from side to side, or squat, or something else. It's up to me and I kind of like it
The thing I'm not sure about is replayability. I finished the game, and repeating the same levels again seems less fun, but I am trying to get higher scores on them (not that I'm so sure how the scores are calculated?). But still, I'm not board, and this game is new, and everything else is great, so still 5 stars from me

Straight up fun. This is really fun to play! The difficulty builds in a smooth way and the gameplay is addictive..I can see myself getting really stuck into it.
Please add smoot loco and non arena lvls. The game is great, but is lacking smooth locomotion and non arena levels. Please provide both changes post release and it will be a 10/10 game.
