My favorite game so far and a must play. I was looking for a game for my Quest 3 that I would enjoy. I have bought many lately and some were good, but none that gave me the experience like Halo, Doom 2, Dead Space, or Star Craft gave me the first time I played it. Well, I think this is the one. So far, I like everything about it. It is an awesome experience playing this in VR. The graphics, although not as good as Red Matter 2, still, it is "very good" and enjoyable. This Game is a Must Play. I love space marine style FPS games and this is all that. What is so disturbing is that it was so hard to find. It does not show up in the Meta Quest store unless you know the name and type it in to search. Also, reviewers who post on "you tube" passed this by or missed it somehow. This game needs to be experience. So, Developers, you need to get this game more face time, or advertisement so people won't have such a hard time finding it. Kudos to the developers of this game, well done. Another note, I also love that this is not a short game like the Vader episodes. It has depth and love the level up system for your character and equipment. Also, I have not experienced any bugs or discomfort issues in the 10+ hours I played it so far.

The BEST VR GAME STUCK on App Lab. Geezuz devs, I dont understand even slightly how or why Quest isnt pushing this title and instead leaving it Hidden away on App Lab as an obscure treasure to be found. Perhaps it needs to remain on App lab so the few lucky ones who stumble onto this absolute gem and buy it can feel like they hit the app lab lotto!! Seriously to whoever is reading this. This game is like doom 3 on a space ship w heavy RPG elements, mixed with dead space and with a competent narrative story and a lengthy full single player campaign. I'm pretty critical of games especially VR titles, it's a medium I love, it's my passion, I even have a dedicated PSVR YouTube Chan (PSVR Asylum) and I'm pretty critical when it comes to Reviews. I absolutely love this game..why 4 stars? It's really just appearance, I'm not totally loving your character models, they look a bit janky, but perhaps that's part of its charm in the likeness of Vox Machinae style somewhat. I'm trying to find some negatives so it doesnt appear in shilling for this title but the truth is this game is HEAVILY underappreciated and just not given it's due credit. If you like RPGs - BUY IT. If you like space / scifi story single player games - BUY IT. If you like Doom 3 type of creepy shooters - BUY IT. If you appreciate a comprehensive total package that basically nails what they are going for on all fronts with no part of its elements feeling short changed - BUY IT If rough earlier days of VR NPC character design is a turn off - Still BUY IT but expect some slightly goofy disproportional characters. Devs, your game is truly impressive, what you've managed to do as a whole many AAA studios struggle with excelling as a total offering in VR gaming. You'll see 1 or 2 elements done exceptionally while the rest of the game falls short or feels flat. Not here tho, seriously a graphics overhaul w more realistic character designs is the only thing I can think of that holds this title back from becoming one of the greatest VR games of all time up there with TWD Saints & Sinners ranks. Good job, you should feel proud I hope to see more updates, additions, new weapons, and a graphics overhaul/ character redesigns but even if you did NOTHING ELSE from where it sits now, I am enjoying it nonetheless

Horrribke game. I hate games that are confusing from the start for no reason
And here it is! My absolute favorite game on the Quest! How come? While I have a lot of games coming right after it, and I'm generally more into games that offer co-op as I prefer to play with my buddies, Dead Effect 2 is the perfect single player experience for me. The game doesn't focus on the story, even if there is one, but rather on a wide range of weapons, many levels and a lot of shooting. Skill trees for the character and the weapons are manageable and do not complicate. The weapons feel powerful and every shot packs a punch. In addition to zombies and various monsters, you will also encounter human opponents again and again in the game, which means that the game offers a wide variety. Graphically, it's absolutely fine and can particularly convince with the effects. There are a lot of customization options and each mission can be played over and over again to improve your final rating. What still stands out next to the action are the small puzzles. These are sometimes a bit too easy, but they offer a change. A few more details should be mentioned that make the game a real immersive experience, so the NPCs doesn't let themselfs be groped and resists the attempts. I'm totally hooked on the title and I've had over four hours of play now and I still can't see the end! Thanks for this game!

Amazing. This game is honestly amazing 1 small problem with the shot guns it is impossible to ads with because your hand goes halfway through it with certain guns and the laser sight power up didn't work for my character
Amazing. I was looking for a full length game on the quest and this is it the gameplay is a mix of doom/dead space with so much to do character/weapon customisation abilities to upgrade and the immersive gameplay is just top notch and the one thing I personally love is that it has loads of oculus scoreboard achievements to earn which I feel is lacking in so many other games, bottom line this game is a five star rating and is worth the price, I would recommend this game instantly and a must buy for any quest owner. I hope that a dead effect 3 vr will release someday or maybe more updates/content for this one (with more achievements lol)
Fun game till it got buggy on me. Just got this game and was loving it, then I hit a bug with the orbital enemy, can't respawn and have to start the difficult mission all over again with hordes of zombies feels like a super hard level no easy setting so medium is extremely difficult, plus orbital enemy takes a long time to even weaken and then suddenly u die and can't respawn. Wtheck bummer started over 4 times no luck, so sad it is as good and now became unplayable to progress
Got it on Android, PC, and now Quest. This is a fun zambie shooter game. Play through either story levels or randomized scenarios, earn money, buy new guns, upgrades, and equipment. It's a very simple setup, but a lot of fun. Dr. Bielik's SUPER thick accent always amuses me. Interaction with weapons feels a bit generic, and should be an option, but more realistic gun reloading and handling would be a fun option. It's not a AAA title, but it's always an enjoyable zimzam shooter, that I pick up on whatever platform I see it on.
