Critically underrated. Cosmic XR is a hidden gem in the VR/MR world. I am surprised it is not on top of the charts. It’s like having a magical, interactive planetarium in your home. The mixed reality integration is impressive, letting celestial bodies float around your real space in a way that feels both educational and awe-inspiring. For the price, it’s an incredible value. At the very least, try the trial.
Absolutely mesmerizing and interactive. Interactive and mesmerizingly fun! This app is on the right track. It does need more content add-ons in the future. 4 stars, the solar system section was not being displayed properly on my Oculus 3. Hand gestures are sensitive and still a bit finicky.Developer team fixed solar system rendering. Updated to 5 stars.
I'm now her favorite uncle! Got this for my space loving niece and it has become her favorite game to play in VR. I wish we could do some sort of multiplayer experience but perhaps in a future update. For now I follow along with her casting to my phone and we still have a great time exploring the planets and stars. Outstanding presentation in MR and it helps her mom when she tries it as most VR only experiences are uncomfortable for her. I look forward to future updates and content.
Just Wow 🤩. I’m in Awe, this looks absolutely amazing in mixed reality, it brings back happy memories of going on a field trip to the planetarium 30+ yrs ago but with this it’s literally at your fingertips 🤯 there are other apps on here that I have tried and they don’t even come close to this, imo anyways but I would love to see higher resolutions on the planets, when you expand them all the way they get super blurry but don’t get me wrong it still looks good, just not as crisp as default size
Great Job. Looking forward to more. For the first version, this is amazing. 4 stars for that. I love the cosmic scale. I always recommend that any developers look to the Cosmic Watch app as the gold standard for understanding the celestial mechanics of our own solar system. This app has great potential for that. I would love to see more features within our solar system. For example choosing a heliocentric or a geocentric view of planetary movement where the geocentric view can be from the ecliptic or topocentric. The latter brilliantly shows how the Earth's tilt and axial wobble impact our earthly experience of the planets and stars. I also think the ability to speed and slow time while tracing orbital paths is essential so you can observe the incredible geometry that emerges.
Cosmic XR. Wow..honestly just wow! So beautifully created, factually very informative and the visuals are mind blowing. I could sit for hours just enjoying being amongst the stars, planets and other galaxies. Can’t wait for more updates and new items.
