Created in Unreal Engine, and continuing our filmmaking in virtual reality, ABE VR is based on ABE the multi-award winning short film, and planned feature film, written and directed by Rob McLellan.
No longer do you have to just watch the film, you now get to experience it as a character. Specifically, ABE’s chosen victim.

Works on Quest 3, Robot w/feelings story. Ran it through Oculus Air Link and it works. It's not a game, it's like INVASION or HENRY, you just watch. You are stripped to a operation bed and a robot with feelings, confused feelings, steps in as the surgeon for the evening. The ending is quiet gruesome so maybe quit out when it picks up the saw. It's honestly to short even to give time to the underpinnings from philosophy it barely even touches on.
kinda sucked. it sucked ngl, its a chilling atmosphere which is cool and all but it just ended up being disapointing and not that scary after like 10 seconds, a robot does a stupid long paragraph about how nobody loves him then kills you, thats all, never playing it again
This reminds me to,. "Last Boy on Earth" in this Movie ABE has a Scene i think but who cares :) ... this is not a Game its a "Robo tortures you-Simulation", its Trash and in no way entertaining, 1 Star is for Graphics and the Try and the 2nd was way over the best before date and i had to put it somewhere...
Chilling. Fits the niche genre I love most - existential problems concerning the creation of AI. It was rather short, and while that was a bit disappointing, sometimes you don't need much to get the point across.
Only real bit of criticism is that being attached to a character with a body that looks nothing like my own broke the immersion for me - I'm not really the victim because of this, so I think it was a little less horrific than it could've been, and I have no info on who this person is for the most part so there isn't an emotional attachment to them either. I know this was made in 2016 so there's probably not going to be an update, but if there were, I'd honestly probably recommend removing the viewer's body.
It's free, short, horrific, made me think, and in the end glad I gave it a go.

Use description box. Great quality but is like a watch a video in VR
its a story thats not even worth while. i got it thinking it was a puzzle/escape room kinda thing. nope. just a robot telling me no one loves him, then he kills me. not even a good story. not worth you time.
So-so. It’s actually a film less than 5-min long... all you can do is look around and listen to Abe talk. An interesting character, looks very cool. But there’s nothing else to this... it’s cool, sure — but when you have seen it once you’re done.

Crash. cant even play it always crashes. can anyone help me solve this problem
I like the Atmosphere. To all who say "whats the point of this game?". Ehm it says "film" in the genre section... i really like how the feeling changes from scared to confused, then i was sad and at the end a bit disgusted. I like the bot, im sorry for him he just wants to help. Good job (but the end scene is pretty bad looking i think)
Cool. This is a above average VR 'movie' experience. You get to be a girl in it, with black shoes on, then a robot comes in and gets all dramatic. Then the robot slices into you with sharp tools! Spoiled it, sucker! It's short, but it's quite good, although it doesn't really take advantage of VR that much. There isn't much to look at other than the monologue-giving robot (and your avatars shoulders), but he certainly looks cool. For whatever reason, It took alot of tricks to capture screenshots of this game (don't know what)back when I was a VR novice. Now I know what to do!
Great for those new to VR. I recommend checking this out. Yes, it's short. However if you're new to VR, I find this to be a great "experience" to start with. It's a classic and you can't beat the price.
