Better than Tabor but still hates solos. It clearly better than Tabor in basically every way no contest. Sadly that causes all the tryhards to flock who only play on full teams and hunt the entire lobby down every game. If you plan to always have a full team congrats its an amazing game and you will almost always have a massive advantage over everyone you fight.If you plan to play solo don't bother you will hate every moment of playing. These games just need team based matchmaking and they would be so much better.

Super Laggy Adjustments NEEDED. Every 5 seconds I have a bug where it glitches the screen and makes it becomes jittery, I know this isn't a performance issue on my end. This game is filled with bugs that haven't been fixed yet, and it would be such a better game if they actually fixed it!

Quality Shooter. One of the most polished (not saying perfect) VR shooters to come out in a while. Tons of depth in gameplay in Exfil Zone and good fun in BR. Player count is a bit lack luster at the moment of this review but I'm sure the wipe will change this. Overall pretty fun and sufficient content, It's definitely worth the $20 asking price.

Anti-Cheat crashing game appears fixed. Update as of August 2025: After a series of updates to the game I went back in and checked to see if the problem was fixed. It appears the issue with the bugged anti-cheat crashing my stock game has been solved. I was able to start the game and enter Exfil and Battle Royal without issue. I did get a fatal crash when I closed the game for the first time, but after the second load and close that error didn't appear again. It appears the developers have fixed the bug. I look forward to getting back to some PCVR gaming and streaming on this great game. Thank you for fixing the issue.When this released I championed it. I am still a massive fan of the game. However, after some update it will not play nice with anti-cheat. It thinks the stock game is bugged and won't even let me start either on steam or meta. I understand that this isn't a game issue, but as long as this has been going on the developers should have had some headway in trying to fix a problem that doesn't allow the game to be played by a portion of their player-base. I shouldn't need to remove kernel security on the computer to be able to play it. I want to go back to playing a 5 star game again. Please address this so I can play this game again. Anti-cheat sucks going after game with 0 adjustments but again, developers have go to provide a proper work around or get this fixed.
There needs to be change. this game suffers from a massive problem with its damage system, where enemy players can survive unrealistic amounts of damage, especially from the ammo system this game offers where anything that isn't the best makes you do nothing to a player in high tier armor, while this would be acceptable if it wasn't going for the appeal of Tarkov players and or any other extraction shooter of realistic design. As it is apparent with multiple hours on this game that there is a huge unbalanced in damage and armor, a bullet is a bullet at close range you aren't stopping it even in high grade body armor, where as in this a ronin can stop almost a full 30 rounds of 7.62 x 39 SP with barely damage done to a player standing less then 5 meters from them. second major issue i see with this game, is everything is worth nothing, yes there are the occasional items such as golden elephant which give abit of money.But these items or other items should be worth more as the purpose of this genre of games is to loot, only second to the combat itself.Where typically positioning is the key to win a battle rather then just tanking entire magazines with barely any consequence. this game need to change and i hope it will for the better for every player.
Cheating is outrageous. Have had the game for only a day playing exfil. have had my equipment stolen twice by invisible people who fly around the map. please fix the cheating issue
A VR game you can play for hours. Literally such a good game.The gameplay loop is so addicting making you want to keep playing.There's missions enough for so many hours of playtime, even as a skilled player with high raid extract %.On top of that, the core mechanics of the contractors game, makes this shooter so fun to play. Packing mags and handling guns feels great, and aiming feels amazing too.LOVE IT.
After wipe game is bricked. After the wipe the game has become unplayable. At first just super stuttery and motion sickness inducing. Now the game wont even launch and just sends me to the anti cheat page. Not sure why, all I have ever tried to do was get the stupid game to play. Not sure how I can get a refund as I've spent so much time trying to get it to work and almost no actual time playing...Edit: It took me about a week to get it to actually play, uninstalled and reinstalled game, and virtual desktop multiple times. I wish I could say what worked to fix it, but it was just randomly fixed after multiple reinstalls. Now this is the only game I want to play.

Worlds above any other VR shooter. - I've been playing since the first Alpha, that was an invite from the discord to an experimental build. I cant put this game down. it led me to upgrade my wireless setup, my battery options and my physical setup. Its addicting, its exciting, its a wild ride.- The gameplay loop is very satisfying. Looting, finding items you require to upgrade your hideout, or just to make money. I've never played a VR game that gives the same rush, the highs and the lows I'd experienced in Escape From Tarkov until I played this. I would give higher than 5 stars if I could. - Even performance is really good for the game still being in an early access state. the devs are constantly adding new content, even without wipes we were given tons of new QoL features and items. the maps are well thought out, and have very few "open areas" that feel unfinished/ underdeveloped. - They really seem to respect your time as well. Progression is well thought out. 10/10 game
