A dystopian future. An authoritarian regime. A tale of violence, intrigue, and hope. Swing from towering skyscrapers and battle deadly enemies as you fight to free your city from the evil that consumes it. With a kinetic swinging system, intense gunplay, an immersive story campaign, and dozens of side quests, Resist is the VR experience you’ve been waiting for.
Will you bow to the forces of oppression? Or will you have the strength to Resist?
Love it, and fix for hand tracking... Just finished the intro, good job guys! And for the reviewer that said they need to restart to get hands back, I'm familiar with the issue from other games. You just need to go to the PC, and click in the game window or on the screen to return focus to the game, then you should be good! Happened to me and that fixed it :) And to the dev, nice work so far, any chance this gets multiplayer in the future? That would be so hard but so amazing!
Very cool game but pc version is buggy. I really like the game - if you wanna feel like spiderman (or spiderwoman in the case of resist) and swing from skyscraper to skycraper, this is the ultimate experience. The graphics of the pc version are much crisper and the effects are over all better as in the quest version. I would give this game a 5 star rating, if there wasn't this annoying bug. Erverytime you take a break and lay down the hmd, the position of the hands is frozen when you want to continue. The only thing that helps is to turn off the game and restart it. When this is fixed, i will adjust the rating to well deserved 5 stars.
PC version is unplayable for me. I was looking forward to playing this on PC because of the upgraded graphics, but sadly it is completely unplayable on my system due to a ridiculously low fps. (I can run any other VR game at a perfectly playable fps). Strange how this loads into Steam VR rather than using Oculus itself... wonder if that's the problem, or maybe my graphics card is not supported? (AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT)
glitchy. i tried playing the intro and the skyscraper gun doesnt stay in hands and the next part i cant progress beceause i get stuck in mid air or the grapples stay active and wont let loose of buildings
Spiderman VR. I hate calling it that, but Spiderman VR is probably the best way to describe this game for someone questioning whether or not it's a worthwhile purchase. And it is. It's on the shorter side, with the main campaign having taken me ~8 hours. But that's mainly due to the final mission, where you need to complete 50% of all side objectives. The campaign is good. I would say it's one of the more original stories for a VR game. Not that a lot of VR games have a dedicated story. 10/10, made me a little motion sick at times, but it's one of those games I wish I could erase my memory of and play again.
