No fun. Why on earth would I want to play a crummy game on a great platform? Why would I want to play that crummy game for hours? Why would I want to interrupt that game every 7 seconds to clumsily shoot a spit wad at a low poly old crone? Why would I want to repeat that forever?
Short but sweet jaunt of nostalgia. Welcome to the future of the past! Retro Gameboy style gaming, explored through futuristic (relative to the game's time period) Virtual Reality!I've gotta say I very greatly enjoyed this game, despite it's short play time.Pros: A blast from the past with retro style gaming really takes me back to my childhood in the mid to late 90's, with all my hand-me-down NES and Gameboy stuff, and it's very easy to lose yourself in the Gear Kid to the point you forget about the in-game "real world" along with the actual real world. The game has a great overall atmosphere, and good 3D visuals to suppliment the great pixel art of the 2D game.Cons: The play time is fairly short, with my playthrough taking only roughly 3 hours, and once you've finished, the game doesn't provide a very large amount of replay value. Running back through the levels to collect hidden carts to unlock Gear Kid skins gives it a bit more content, but not much.In the end I was left very pleased with the content I did experience, but sadly with how short the entire experience is, and the amount of time the project was in development, I'm left more than slightly underwhelmed.I still recommend this game as a must play for anyone looking for a retro nostalgic jaunt into the days of yore, just be aware of the short play time before purchasing.Overall: Greatly enjoyable, far too short.
Super Mario on acid. This is the full fledge game vr game that weve been missing.Great story sweet visuals great gameplay. Each level is about an hour and there are four level. And each level is unique. This is super mario on acid. Get it.
A must have for imaginative retro gamers. This game is amazing and 100% worth the price. Every level in this game looks so beautiful and the games are simple but challenging. I found it very immersive. Something about playing the game whilst hiding it under your desk and distracting the teacher in school is so simple but an absolute blast. I completed the game in around 2 Hours which I was not disapointed by because i never got bored, Im certainly going to revisit some of the levels. Worth every pennie!

素晴らしいゲームであることは間違いない。でもね。 これをクエストに移植してほしい。

Amazing game, no question. But.. I wish they'd port this to the Quest.
The most original VR game ever made! This game has everything I never knew I needed. A perfect blend of nostalgia, fun gameplay, and innovative usage of VR. Whether you are an 80's kid looking to relive your childhood or a new VR gamer looking for a fun game... this is the game for you. A wonderful way to mix dimensions (literally) in a fun, but not too easy package. It took me several attempts to beat the last couple of stages. However, the victory felt very well earned and I had a blast.

Still as good today as it was 2 years ago and it looks even better on the Oculus Rift S.
My original thoughts: A lot better than I was expecting! This game has a nice variety in the levels and enemies and the throwing mechanics are SPOT ON!
