Relaxing board game. I really like all the different ways that VR is developing into. First chess than Poker and now Tsuro VR! I also really like the environment, it gives me that relaxing chill vibe. Great and quick game. The AI is also not too hard or too easy.
Great port of a fun, quick boardgame. Tsuro is based on a boardgame that came out a few years ago. Each player controls a stone. You move your stone by laying down tiles that create paths. Sometimes your tile can affect other players who are forced to move. When a player's stone is led off the side of the board, they are eliminated. The last stone (or stones) left wins the game.
The presentation here is really fun. You're in a japanese garden. There are little touches like bees that fly from flower to flower as well as birds.
Movement is via teleportation, similar to Robo Recall where you can choose which way you want to face before moving.
There are game modes and special features you can unlock as you accumulate games, reach specific goals (like play an X player game). There is also online play, but nobody was on when I tried.
The great thing about this game is that you can finish a game within 15 minutes. The more players, the faster the game goes, but the more interaction you see between the players pieces on the board.
I highly recommend this. It's polished, games go quick and the price is right.
Love this game. Very relaxing and challaging at the same time. AI are good at there level and having multi AI against you is interesting. Only reason its not 5 star is moving around can be awkward , love to see this game have free movement and maybe change of locations . It has such relaxing calm enviroment and would be amazing to have a variety of them. The awards is nice touch and happy with this purchase.
I would love this in VRCHAT or other social app, not AI part but options to play real people would be easier then waiting around or events be held for fun not competition.
A Hidden Gem. Tsuro is very much an underrated game in my opinion. It's not the fast-action point & shoot or horror jump scare type that seems to get all the attention, but it's very relaxing and actually makes you think!
If you like board games or would just love to chill in a very relaxing environment, check it out! It's worth it.. :)
