VR The Diner Duo is a local multiplayer game for the Oculus Rift where you need to communicate to manage a diner together. The game is fully playable in both singleplayer and multiplayer.
Features:
- Asymmetrical multiplayer - Full single- and multiplayer mode - 30 Levels of increasing difficulty - Unlockable hats and other cosmetic customization - Endless mode with local highscore - Fully adjustable kitchen for all sizes and heights
About:
The chef plays in VR and cooks the food while the waiter is played on the same computer the VR-headset is connected to. The waiter takes orders from customers, serves them drinks and keeps the customers happy while they're waiting for their food. The waiter is played with a keyboard and mouse or a gamepad.
Your goal as a chef is to cook the food your customers want, in a limited amount of time. You snooze - you lose!
Good Co-Op Game! Wish there was more. I really enjoyed playing this game despite the low-res graphics quality. It was charming and fun, and great for cooperative play. It's challenging, and has a good variety of levels and customization, but I wish there were more food options and maybe a way to customize the diner. Altogether, I had a lot of fun!
Another excellent VR animated short. The story is perfect for a 'short'. The artwork is beautiful and the amimation so very smooth. Certainly worth watching.
Somewhat Dissappointed. Although there was nothing "wrong" with this short story, I found myself dissappointed because of my high expectations after watching "ALLUMETTE" which is also a Penrose Studios Production, and was excellent (IMO)
Very Short....Yet Perfect! Darn, I always find good "Demos" after family and friends have left. If you have a GTX 1060, I recommend you super sample to 1.3 as it's nice and sharp. Any higher and you'll drop frames. I also recommend for that anyone who "plays" this to crouch down a bit and reset their view. Doing so will provide a more comfortable experience as you won't have to look upward at the subject. Also, a decent amount of space (5x5ft/1.5mx1.5m) is prefered if you'd like to get a full 360° experience.
