Really nice... and perfectable ! A really nice and yet really perfectable arcade style shooter. It could be easily much better with few tweaks. I bought it for 4.99 and at this price, you can go eyes closed ;)
what in the actual f... Nice visuals but the whole experience is completely watered down with the teleportation nonsense, this type of gameplay irritates, all the potential of locomotion and the dev decided standing in one place is far more entertaining. I assumed arcade action meant fast paced not silly standing in one place simulator 2019 or whatever
TL;DR: decent game, but standard early access game that doesn't look like it's going anywhere?
While the game game seems quite nice so far, remember that it's an early access game (which is mentioned here, but not on steam?) Came out in 2017, last update from what I can see in my update history, is 4 months ago. Last reviews with comments are nearly a year old at this point...
Don't expect the game to be finished any time soon, and that's assuming that it'll happen. You can get about 45 minutes out of the initial game though (disregarding the training stuff, and not doing the same missions over and over, but on higher difficulties)
Great shooting game! I read the reviews, so I decided to buy. This is such a great game. I enjoyed till now and I think I will enjoy hole the game. Great work developers, thanks!
Arcade Shooter. As of 2017 sept. It's an arcade on-rails shooter, in the likes of what you expect to find at an Arcade hall.
The gun controlls feels somewhat lightweight, with little haptic feedback and a lower rate of fire than what you would imediately wish it to be. You also get very little indication of where you get hit from, so you can end up in a situation where you try to find the enemy that is shooting you. Is very easy and quick to pick up and the imediate controls feels intuitive and responsive. It has a foundation for an upgrade system and a working highscore list, so it's expected that you treat it like a proper arcade game, with repeated playthroughs in short bursts. For what it is, I'll give it a thumbs up. Might not be a priority game, but a good addition to any library. Edit: Best played in standing mode. It has recenter.
