Better than stand-alone apps. Great app! You won't get that horrible lag you would in standalone apps. Wish Google could just expand the 3D coverage, though. Euro-America is overrepresented compared to the rest of the world.... Well, I guess that reflects Google's priorities.

Amazing app. It's a great way to explore destinations and places. I use it before going on hikes, og trips to see what I'll meet when going there IRL. Very nice app. You can go visit mountains to check out views etc.

Doesn't work. Big white square goes from controller blocks view. Can't read menus or do anything.Not even messing with it. Delete.

Wunsch von mir:Es wäre toll wenn man Bereiche in denen Street View oder 360Grad Fotos verfügbar sind, auf der Karte irgendwo erkenntlich macht (wie die blauen Punkte und Linien bei Google Maps). Vielleicht kann man dass irgendwie auch so lössen dass es ein pfeil zum nächsten Sphere lenkt, ohne alles zu überladen. Da gibt es bestimmt genug gute Lösungen :)VG
Greatest VR App Ever! I have, by far, spent more time in Google Earth VR on my Meta Quest 2 headset than any other VR app I've ever downloaded or used. I can go back and explore places in my hometown that I never did (or wasn't able to) while I lived there, or I can explore entirely new places across the entire globe where I've always wanted to go and see. I can fly as high as an eagle, as low and close as a drone, or check things out from a street view (where available).While I don't expect the app to ever be updated to a level beyond where it currently is, it would be nice if the ground level LOD were able to be improved to a higher detail dynamically by AI based on available geometry and satellite photography.*** It must be noted that the only way you can use this app is on your PC with either a wireless or corded connection to your Meta Quest headset. The app does not run natively on the headset by itself. ***
The best VR experience there is. This is my favourite go to VR experience, which in my opinion fully justifies the cost of buying the equipment. I am delighted that Google are continuing to develop the 3D Earth model and adding new places regularly. I have tried a few of the clones of Google Earth VR (Earthquest, AnyWR, Wooorld) and although they are OK they are nowhere near as good as this. Keep up the good work Google!!

the universe is on my hands. this is the best i can literally fly around where ever i want and go into street view and I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD ASK FOR MORE WHEN I ALREADY HAD STREET VIEW.
The best - now bring it to quest 3! Best hands down. It makes you feel something different from every other experience. A sense of how small you are and how amazing the planet is. I wish they would continue to develop this and also make it available for quest 3 which is easily capable of running it.
Others have tried to create similar to run native on the quest, but they fall short and don't offer the sense of wonder that this does.
An amazing experience through our planet. This is such a thrilling and dare I say, relaxing experience. The fact that you can fly to the Eiffel Tower, and then directly to the very mouth of Mount Fuji and just sit there, is simply wonderful.
My only wish is that the 3d models were more realistic and well done.
Most useful App for common VR Users. This one makes sense for anyone to install. Learn geographics, get to know your neighbours or explore the wide world. Experience places you may never see yourself, plan your holidays or learn about the cities were news happen...
