Its an OK game. I finished standart version of the game years ago. But I still had fun with VR in 2025. Even if it tried to take my eyes off with Quest 2 headset

Abandoned, don't bother. It's free and you get what you paid for.There's no sound. This issue is very random. Managed to make it work once (after about half an hour of fiddling with it) but had no such luck ever again. My time is more valuable than this.

Sound issues - should have listened! Wish I'd listened to other reviews before downloading... the sound doesn't work. I tried the fixes but couldn't get it to work. And then I couldn't find out how to quit the game. For heaven's sake.

This game is great. There is volume... So i decided to check this game out and see if it indeed has no volume. So yes it had no volume when i first initialized it. However, go into settings for oculus and toggle between headset volume and pc volume. You will now hear it coming from the PC. Then change it back to headset. I give it 4 stars due to the volume, but so far so good. Looking for some games that i won't get dizzy playing while i get used to VR and this is one that i enjoy.

wow just wow. Its a really fun game to play being a hacker trying to save a girl traped in a bad place and the only one there for her is you.
Game has audio, story sucks. République will play audio in the default system audio output. To hear the game audio in your headset (e.g., Oculus Quest), in the Windows 11 system tray, click the audio volume icon, and in "Sound output" select "Headphones (Oculus Virtual Audio Device)". After that, start the game (or restart it if it was already running).
The game is technically nice, with good graphics, sound and voice acting. But the story... there is a lot of build up and, suddenly, since ep. 4, the plot gets lost! Too many contradictions, plot holes and loose ends. And the ending really made me regret to play the game - not for the themes or "choices" it gives the player (I'm OK with them), but again, everything is out of place (even physically!) and it left a bad taste in my mouth.
No Volume. I checked myself and all my systems and other games, apps and the like. There is no volume for this game. I've seen another review mentioning this issue as of recent. Looks like a potentially decent game, but without volume it is really unplayable. Will consider reviewing again if this is fixed.

NO VOLUME AND NO SAVING THE GAME. I tried the volume tricks written by other reviewers here but they didn't work for me. Additionally the save game consoles through the game won't save the game, can't engage them. They appear as an item, glow to indicate you can interact with it, but they do not respond. Only one did and that's my only save game. It didn't even auto save when I got to the dining room or when I got the OMNI 1.0 update. Awful waste of time, simply horrendous. These devs suck!
Decent stealth gameplay. This game is an interesting combination of 3rd person view, stealth, timed puzzles, and story. Definitelly worth checking out because it's a unique experience in VR, I haven't seen other VR games like it. Moss might be similar, but I didn't play that one.
it's not a AAA big budget game, but the visuals are decent, controls are good (it took me a bit to get used to), and the voice acting is excellent.
It was made for flatscreen, but it's translated to VR very well. It can be played either standing or seated because there is no in-game locomotion, you see the world through stationary "security cameras" that you can switch between.
I'd like to have the voice clues also available as text, maybe there is a CC option, but I didn't look for it. The map overview is very terse, but I guess it's part of the puzzle aspect of the gameoplay.
The technical issues others mention might be just confusion. The save game is automatic, when transitioning between areas.
It uses the default system audio, so make sure you set your headset audio as default (in the Windows systen tray, on your desktop) before starting the game.
For volume controls - music, voice, sfx - they are available in-game, once you start playing, on the "cellphone" gears button.
I got it for free because its free now. it certainly would have been worth paying for, but it has more of an Oculus GO Vibe (a thing I consider to be or have been good) than I was expecting. its still a fun thing to have a game where gaze based selection and locomotion are at the forefront. blah blah blah.
smooth and enjoyable. love the use of the cameras and phone system in the game and adding the element of stealth to it was really nice, for a free game i am very impressed with the way it handles and feels, vr intensity 3/5 good for beginners to intermediate gameplay 4/5 very clever and done with detail difficulty 3-4 / 5 can be a bit tricky sometimes but still plausable for most users control mechanics 3/5 could be tweeked a bit with some better point systems sometimes having to move head on weird angles to see the next cameras etc but still doable overall still a 4/5 for me
Good retrofit to VR. They took a game that I don't think was designed for VR and retrofitted it to VR. I think they did a good job and haven't experienced any issues. The game might not be built ground up for VR but I think it's still fun. You basically guide a girl through the levels from the vantage point of security cameras, avoiding security guards and such. It's not too exciting and a little awkward to control at times, so I'd say it's not for everyone.
