Disappointed. I've had this game a long time and it is a great game but we got our first update in a long time today but the patch notes have a note saying "Changelog will be updated soon".
As mentioned by others I feel like we are nothing more than an after thought next to the steam community and this happens way to often.

Extremely Fun Simulator. This game is a very fun simulator for those of you who like trains. Operating the train is so smooth and there are no bugs I have found so far. It does lag a little bit, but nothing too crazy. The controls all fit well and I like how interactable the environment is. I am excited to see how this game will change in the future.
When do we get the updates on VR?. Been playing for years but feel left behind by the Steam community when the VR users haven't seen an update since August of 2021.
Great simulator, but... It would be great if it had a "free ride" mode in addition to the career mode, where you could just drive around to enjoy the scenery and the game. The career mode is sometimes too detailed for me, you get lost here in job descriptions, track maps etc. It's too exhausting for me and I usually can't play for more than an hour before I lose interest. Sometimes I would just want to drive around with the locomotive I like and enjoy the scenery. But the career mode kills my fun.

I was missing something like a Comms Voice interacting with me and telling me what to do... In general the Towns and places feel like dead western Citys.
Another thing is the missing Multiplayer or at least a local Multiplayer so i can show my son how to handle a Train in VR. That would be awesome.
Exactly what I want (Get 25% off). I love this game, it's everything that I have ever wanted from a game. It does have bugs, but that's to be expected from an early access game, it is definitely better than when I originally purchased it though. The devs are very clear about what they are doing and there is a huge overhaul coming in the new year which should sort out many of the issues the game may have. Game is good. It is very fun, But i have a suggestion. Can you add a sandbox mode, were you have infinite money. And all the trains and stuff because i really want to drive a steam train but its going to take me forever to get. Just a suggestion
Great Game but. This is a very good train simulater i give it 4 and not 5 because, I will be happy to see more AI life in the game , (animals, people, car, train....).
DeVos plz read. First let me say I love this game. But the fees are outrageous in game. Why should I be paying for fuel? And sand??? Wtf. No BNSF employees would pay for that stuff. The company pays. Also I'm being derailed all the time when I should not be. I was just coming into machine factory/town from city sw. Going under the speed limit in a straight line and have 4 cars derail on me. Now the fees have made it so I cant progress because o dont have the money to pay the 30k in fees and it won't let me take on new jobs. Add to the fact that I cant start again or do the job over. I may have to uninstall and re install to get a fresh start which I have done 2 times.

Can’t find it on my quest 2. I specifically bought the oculus quest 2 because my 7 year old son is absolutely obsessed with trains and saw a video about this game on YouTube and has been begging me for it ever since. Well, Christmas morning arrived and he was massively disappointed because the game is no where to be found on my quest 2. He was crushed and I am not happy about this. Come to find out, apparently the game is only compatible with a gaming PC and the oculus rift and rift s. Would have been nice to know that before I spent the 600.00 on the quest 2 and the additional 20-25 on the game.
