Nailed it. Absolutely awesome game, love the power elements in this gives off a great vibe of Street Fighter. The graphics in this could do with a tweak to make them slightly sharper, but quest games Optimizer takes care of that for now. The single player story mode is awesome, with some great little side quests. Love the artwork in the game it’s like a comic book coming to life! Great job well done devs! Bravo 👏
Short sessions work best. Awesome game, but I can’t play it for hours in one go — it gets a bit repetitive after a while. That said, for 20–30 minute bursts, it’s a blast. I’ll definitely keep it installed and come back to it when I want quick, satisfying fun.
Cool game with options. There is a story mode and a multi-player fight mode. Its stand up only and uses your real height so hopefully this will prevent being bombarded by annoying 5 year olds like most games. I just started and am excited to play a great game while getting a good workout.
For Sure Exceeded My Expectations.!! I seriously have no complaints about this game. Everything from the Characters + Combat System and even the Story are all very well thought out and entertaining… I would recommend adding this to your library.
Slap until you drop. This is an early impression review as only been out a few hours.Love games with a story and it’s rare to get a story with a fighting game.Has a great feel to it, slapping is very satisfying, tutorial was easy to follow, I already hate my opponents and want revenge on the slap syndicate, I’m coming for you all.Well done to Curious Games, it’s definitely has a lot of potential and a lot of fun.A must buy.
Looks Better Than I Expected. I’ve put a lot of hours into Thrill of the Fight. Compared to this one, Slap Fighter doesn’t try to be realistic, but visually it’s more impressive than I expected. The arenas actually feel different from one another, with a strong atmosphere and good use of lighting. The effects when you use powers are flashy but still clear enough that you can follow what’s going on, which isn’t always the case in VR brawlers. Characters are stylized, not hyper-realistic, but they fit the over-the-top tone of the game. It’s not the most technically advanced VR title out there, but it definitely captures the “spectacle” side of fighting games.
A little slap-stick fun. Slap Fighter is pure fun and has a story you can follow and progress with or drop straight in and slap your friends. The physics are great, the graphics a cartoony but it suits the game play. I have only dropped in enough to complete the tutorial which was a workout in itself. I think where this will excel is slapping strangers and even better when slapping your friends. Quick to pick up, endlessly entertaining, and guaranteed to make you laugh remember Slap responsibly, oh and watch your play area!!
