Please make a Quest 3 graphics update. UPDATE: It seems there was a strange issue with the trial version. Once i booted up the game a second time the resolution was much improved and its now looking really great.
I was introduced to this game by a friend on PSVR2 and instantly fell in love with it. Since the steam version never got released so far i jumped on the quest version and insta buyed it. But to my surprise the visuals are fastly inferior to the PSVR2 version. Its still a great game (thats why i gave 5 stars anyhow) but since the PSVR2 version already sports vastly improved visuals porting them over (at least to some extend) to quest 3 seems like a no brainer. At least increase the resolution and raise the refresh rate to 120hz to accommodate the additional power of the quest 3. Thank you!
The devs listen. A year in, I still can't beat the first level BUT the devs added invincibility mode! (Haven't tried it yet but I will soon) along with level select. All in all its still a fun game I retract my previous disappointment and say this is now a must play!

Final update: For the first time I am hooked on this game! invincible mode plus level select is SO GOOD! I got to see the 2nd level and the boss of that level is INSANE!! I am sorry the devs have to hear every complaint the people have but I have to think it helped here because this game is now perfection. Thank you so much for this game.
Oldschool fans, this one is for you! This game is absolutely awesome and offers you an experience like no other on Quest. It's the 80s anime Akira without the license. It is played while sitting, which is a big plus because after a long and tiring day you might want to take it easy. It is dedicatedly supported by the developers, the soundtrack is fantastic and is simply a dream come true for any cyberpunk fan or just for people who grown up in the 80s/90s with all the amazing arcade games from yesteryear in general. And despite various difficulty balancings, it's still reasonably challenging. Games are meant for everyone, not just the "true hardcore gamer" crowd.
Amazing game. The game is fun as a beginner trying to figure out the mechanics, story, options, etc…..but then it becomes MORE FUN when you have mastered the gameplay. There’s tons of little hidden things you can do (customize your bike!) to earn achievements and make it more challenging on your next play through. It’s like Akira x F-Zero, in the best sort of way. Can’t wait for updates and more levels!

Amazing Title. Plays very differently from many other games and is unique in that you're having a blast shooting things while you're on a high speed chase on a motorcycle! This is a must buy. The guns are great, the visuals fantastic, the bosses are unique and fun, and the stages feel diverse and, above all, fun.
I own on PSVR2 and Quest 3.
The user who posted a 0 star review, erroneously saying the game is too easy "now" missed the simple fact that the developers actually ADDED features (a level select and optional checkpoints) that no one has to use. The difficulty is just as great as it ever was and the devs have added things for free.

I love this game and I wanted to speak up and say why.
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. This is a motorcycle combat game with an anime vibe that is ridiculously addictive. The action is very fast-paced with arcade style boss battles at the end of every level. The bosses are challenging enough to where you won't breeze past them, but not so hard that you will be rage quitting left and right. This is the type of game that hardcore and casual players could both enjoy equally. The controls are simple to get used to, and there is a very low learning curve. I'm rarely the type of person to give a game 5 stars, but with how much fun I have with this title and how little I paid, Runner truly deserves 5. I can't even complain about the game being "too short" because there is such high replay value.
Look, I don't know who you are or what you like, but I'm almost positive that you will have fun with this one. I also promise you that I don't work for them, lol.
Fantastic Game. Runner is an action shooter game where you drive a motorcycle while destroying baddies. You don't have full course control (ie. can't drive backwards) but that's good as it let's the game share focus with combat. You can still speed up to 300 mph or brake to 60 mph and drive circles around enemies. You have 2 guns, a bike cannon, grenades, missiles, and a Laser sword. The guns and cannon also have unique upgrades that are pickups in level. There's also a time-slow meter than you can fill through driving close to (but not hitting) civilian vehicles. There's a decent enough story and some very good voice acting that's done between missions. And some cool extra info for every mission in the console. You can unlock new bikes with different stats and perks. Also, there are position and difficulty settings in the menu. I love this game.
Anime Motorcyle Shooter - Nuff said! I have had this game for a while and love it! It makes me feel like I’m in the Akira movie, swooping by cars and blasing enemies away like I’m Kaneda on steroids.
It’s a great arcady game that provides you with a quick fix of action while trying to beat your previous scores or just to get the coolest kills. So give it a try and let it marinate a while to get used to it. Once you do you will realize what a true gem of a game this is!
Fantastic. This game can be overwhelming at first dealing with the controls and enemies, but once you get used to the control scheme, its great fun. Ive completed the game five times already, and its been fun every single time. The 80s anime aesthetic is awesome as well as the music. Can't recommend enough.
Great devs. Had some issues initially after getting my new quest 3, these were quickly resolved by the devs. Fun game, I like the visuals and theme It would be great if there is more skill required for handling the motorcycle (shifting, wheelies, turbo, other weapons)
Need more games like this on Quest. As someone who read the Akira manga in the 80’s this game is literally a dream come true!
My fave way to play is to set view while crouched down and then stand up to play. Then it’s like you’re standing up on the bike and really enhances the feeling of speed! Just need to reach a bit further down for the guns but all good.
Kudos to the developers for being so receptive and responsive to player feedback since release and striving to make the game as comfortable / accessible as possible while also remaining a challenge.
Full disclosure- although I think I’m pretty good at this game I still haven’t defeated the final boss yet so def need to work on my sword skills!
