Contour helps you bring digital art to life. Whether you're an artist or not, you can create superb drawings like a pro: simply upload image files to your Quest using a MAC or PC, resize and place your artwork atop your real world canvas, and start drawing !
It uses the Quest 2 / Quest 3 cameras - aka passthrough - to overlay digital artwork on top of a real life surface to easily create outlines for your art before starting the actual paint job.
As passthrough can be quite blurry - especially on Quest 2 - Contour isn't meant for precise drawing or finishes, and is better suited for sketching and outlining relatively large artwork (e.g. wall painting, signage...) before starting the actual paint job.
To import your own artwork: 1. Create transparent PNG files, 1024 * 1024 (or above), with white outlines, using your preferred image editor. 2. Plug your headset into your computer using USB C and put your PNG files into the `Android/data/com.DDXR.Contour/files` folder. Mac OS users will need a free 3rd party software, such as Android File Transfer or SideQuest. 3. Restart the app, and you should see your files in the artwork menu.
ここまでは順調だ。クエストに写真を追加するために、サイドクエストや開発者モードなどで悩む必要はない。もっと簡単な方法がある。Googleフォトのアカウントを使ってください。GoogleフォトのアカウントにPNGファイルを追加します。次にメタクエストでブラウザを立ち上げ、Googleフォトアカウントにログインします。必要なPNGを見つけてダウンロードします。Contourアプリのメニューからダウンロードフォルダを選択し、写真をダウンロードします。 Drop Boxでも同じように使えると思います。👍

So far so good. Don't bother with Side quest or developer mode etc for adding your photos to the quest. There's an easier way. Just use your Google photos account. Add your PNG files to your Google photos account. Then in meta quest bring up the browser and login to your Google photos account. Find the PNG you want and download it. Then in the Contour app go to the menu and the download folder and voilà there is your photo. I would imagine this would work the same for Drop Box as well. 👍
