Doesn’t show up after download. Downloaded to my q3 headset and tried it for the first time. Then app completely disappeared. Tried checking App Store and it says I already purchased the app. Tried to launch via my phone app but to no avail and it froze my headset.
Should be able to take 3d photos/videos. Utilizing the stereo camera on the headset, it is possible to take 3D photos and videos. It is even possible to capture the environment as 360 assets and share online to be used as the home environment or virtual theater apps. They will become new kinds of media someday, and Meta can be the first one to make it happen.
Love it. This is the best, i can talk to my friend in canada.one problem tho i cant be in a call and play a game at the same time because the person in the call cant hear me
It’s a 2D app in VR. You’d think Zark Muckerberg would want the apps that billionized him in the first place to be real destination experiences in his new VR hobby. But nope. Facebook, like Instagram, phoned it in on this one. It’s basically a 2D web browser running Facebook web interface like a kiosk. Boo. If Facebook won’t even try to make a decent VR app on their own VR platform, why should anyone else?

Excellent social platform that is free! I've enjoyed Facebook in 2D for years. I'm enjoying an even more in VR with one exception and which I will update my review up on being able to use. Streaming I wish to stream my Experiences from my Meta quest 2 directly to my Facebook live. Other than that not much can be said facebook meta is the best.

Works ok but needs something. Works ok but needs the ability to live stream what you are doing on the meta quest headset. Such as being able to live stream games you are playing and what not, like gearvr supported. If I played a game I could share it live . Meta doesn’t allow it any more
Please pay attention to Thailand. Please. I want to have Thai language I want to be able to video chat with friends without removing the VR. I have group video chats with friends every day. It makes me feel not lonely even though I'm far away. Thank you.
Depends on your age group. If you’re an older individual that enjoys scrolling on FaceBook I guess you will enjoy this. However, if you’re a part of the more popular age group then you won’t have a need for this app. Personally, I’m just waiting for them to add live-streaming so I can stream to social media.

Mediocre.. but functional. I don't usually use the Meta Quest facebook app often as the mobile experience is far superior, although the layout is clean and I have yet to run into any "issues" as such, the odd times I do opt to use it I often find the experience is lacking and leaves a lot to be desired which can often be frustrating.
For example, I recently recorded some gameplay in VR and wondered to myself if I could share this with a friend and maybe add to my story, which you expect would be a seamless event.
But again I was quite dumbfounded that for whatever reason video media can't be uploaded direct from the device to Facebook, instead having to opt for the long-winded process of having to sync media to the Quest app and then share from there?
A very apple-esque way of doing things..
It would also be great for the UI to follow your system preferences for dark mode, as the visual aesthetics can be quite jarring.
For now mobile would be my preferred choice, but it would be great to see some improvements on the Quest application in the future with these features implemented.
