Improves on the classics, somehow! I'm new to VR, so I insta-bought this when I saw it, Samba De Amigo with the maracas was a crazy good time back in the day. The wii version wasn't near as good, I have regretted selling my dreamcast maracas for years. But the regret has subsided now I can okay this VR version... The controls are so accurate and intuitive, my kids could play and dominate on their first attempt. Being in the game is just wild, its a sensory overload!
If I have a compliant it's gotta be the music, my kids love the selection but there aren't many from the original, and not a huge amount of Latin songs in general.
Actually good, not just VR Good. VR games tend to coast on the VR experience being impressive to cover for risible games design but Samba de Amigo is an exception. It's an exception by not being a VR game but take what you can get. The iconography for the tracks is well designed and actually parsable, the songs actually map to the beat. The song selection is not what it could be and it's a tragedy it lacks many of the arcade original tracks but the songs do at least fit the gameplay well. It's probably the most approachable enjoyable rhythm game in VR. If you think you can stomach the song list at all you should give it a go.
This game is a masterpiece. This game is overall an amazing game and I absolutely loved EVERYTHING about this game down to the smallest details 10/10 I recommend this to music lovers that like a rythym game

Other rhythm games may be too difficult for beginners, but this game has a moderate difficulty level that allows you to easily enjoy it without worrying about scores or judgment. As is a Sega game, it is pleasing to the eye with a variety of characters and artwork that cannot be found in other games. New DLC is continuously released and the price is very reasonable compared to other rhythm games.
At first, I was worried that the game might be too simple, but it supports mixed reality and various modes, so there are a variety of ways to enjoy it, such as 20-player battle mode, streaming amigo, and multiverse mode, so I expect to be able to enjoy it even more in the future.

Fantastic Game!! Recently bought this game and I love it. It’s so much fun. Makes me want to dance and inspires movement that I enjoy. I struggle with the poses at times but I keep trying. I love this game so much that I played through all the songs on my first play. I have bought all the add-ons. Now, give us more songs or allow users to add custom songs.
