Take to the skies in VR in this arcade air combat game. Test your skills against real players or the AI. Earn money by playing the game to unlock more powerful and deadly aircraft.
Stopped playing after 5 minutes. I have no issue with motion sickness at all and have played vr for 2 year. Had to stop after 5 minutes of this. Controls bad, view bad. I know is in development but I'm going to ask for a refund
Fantastic. I’ve been playing flight sims for almost 30 yrs now. All the way back to F-15, on a floppy disc on a Tandy computer, and Chuck Yeager on a 386. I’ve been waiting for the day when VR was good enough for enjoyable flying experiences. It is now! I’m really enjoying this game. The textures could be a little nicer, but at this stage, it’s still really good, and I know it’s only gonna get better. Love the flight characteristics, very quick and smooth response. I was instantly immersed in the experience. Even had that butterfly stomach on some of the aerobatics. Great job and Thank You to all the people who developed this one!
GREAT GAME BUT STILL NEED IMPROVEMENT. Great game spend a lot time playing it but maybe little improvement such as can change fighter name, add 1st person view, improve graphic and maybe some campaign or storyline
VR Ace Combat for only 5$, worth to by. For the price of 5$ it's not bad at all, I can definitely recommend it. Specially for someone who loves Ace Combat. It's not perfect, but the gameplay and what it offers isn't too bad.
You have several gamemodes and maps, even difficulty. It also seems to have multiplayer, haven't gotten it to work, probably because of how few people have the game. So I don't know how it plays. Because I have completed the entire game as far as I know, I have unlocked all aircraft. But I haven't bought everyone of them, although I can see all of them and there stats. It's actually a lot, more than I thought. All aircraft as it seems have at least 2 types of missiles. although some like the XOAA (if I remember the right name), doesn't seem to work and I have tested it even on the SAM turrets on the one map that has SAMs and not even that works. Maybe I am doing wrong or it's not finished.
The actual gameplay isn't perfect. You can control the aircraft either by physically move the control like a joystick or by just pulling on the stick, which is nice because another game has it. Although this doesn't work the same and makes it much worse. There are also 2 view modes, 3rd person and 1st person, but the 1st person camera always shows the F-18. Well the AI can be a bit weird sometimes but they aren't too bad, maybe too good sometimes. The fact that the respawn takes like 5 seconds without anything happening, looking at your failure. Makes it kinda pain to die. Or in one match in flying fortress respawning underground dying until our AC-130 flew a bit higher. The game isn't optimized for comfort, but it's okay for me.
So yeah the game can be a bit boken, but it's mostly okay. And for 5$ it's 100% worth it, and I hope the studio will fix and update the game. I don't want them to give up on this game because it has a lot of potential. So yeah if you like Ace Combat you will probably like this and then you should almost definitely by it. Because I don't find much other games offering the same thing, this could be a good alternativ for an Ace Combat VR experience. But I wouldn't spend that much time on it in a day, but because of the price theres no reason to not by the game if you like flying games. So yes I do recommend this game, but theres some work that could still be done. Also why did I make this so long?
sensational ist the right expression. the graphics are kept simple, as if they were kept simple on purpose to test the main thing. and that is indeed more real than any other VR flight simulator. if there is a lack of serious simulation games anyway, the slimmed-down graphics are acceptable. for the price an absolute must and even half finished a highlight on the entire Quest platform.
Not suitable for a lefthanded person. When will you game developers get that 10-15% of the human population is LEFTHANDED! Regardless of the fact that most jet fighters in "real-life" do not accommodate for hand orientation in their cockpits (, which given today's hi tech advancements in modular cockpit design is quite a pitiful shame) and as this platform is a vr game, vr game developers and designers need to create their content to cater to all sorts of potential customers! Whether they be left handed or whatever.
Now, I know that it may seem to be a minor point to you but speaking as a lefthanded guy, I would probably fly these jets better with my right foot for all of the control I get using my right hand. I would hope that you will be upgrading this game in the future to include a cockpit ergonomics package that also features the option to fly jets reconfigured for left handed dominant pilots. If so, this added feature could just make this game one of my all time favorites. I like the game idea so far, but there was a HYUGE DRAWBACK for me because of the right-hand oriented cockpits that made me feel a bit award, and nauseated after only a few flights. If the developers are unwilling to accommodate it's lefthanded customers, I am afraid that I be will not be recommend this game for any of my friends of either hand preference! Sorry.

Air brigade. Awesome simulator, great dogfighting and the closest you’ll get to the real thing!!
A fun $5 Ace Combat inspired game! Me and my brother recently were playing together in the game, and I must say, it’s well worth its price. Sure, the multiplayer hangar’s a bit buggy and the skins aren’t all complete, but the fun the game offers for other people makes it well worth it! I hope this game continues to improve and iron out the bugs, and make the game better for others in the future to play!
Great so far. I just got this game and have only played it for about 30 minutes and I can tell I’ll be sinking many hours into this game. It’s a little confusing at first but I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it. I saw on the previews and videos of other people playing it and I’ve seen them go into first person and I don’t quite understand how to do that yet, any tips??
