Tea For God is a VR adventure that uses impossible spaces with procedural generation to allow players infinite movement within their own place. Customizable gameplay can be anything between a relaxing long walk, an intense arcade shooter (checkpoint based) and a roguelite shooter-explorer.
In the distant future, humankind has been united, ruled by God Emperor. Endowed with advanced technology we reached stars, colonised new worlds, went onto endless crusades against myriads of civilisations.
Personal tragedies tend to be meaningless against the time. But once in a while, one person may start a fire that can change the fate of the whole universe. A man who lost his family, who holds God Emperor accountable for their death, seeking answers and vengeance, embarks onto his last journey to the place no human has ever left alive, where God Emperor is believed to reside.
This is the demo version of the full game being developed.
This is a game for beginner VR users. With Playspace Immersion, and Unique AI, this game is a 11/10. The game may be 20 minutes long, but that doesn’t matter because the gameplay is still a lot of fun. Tip for beginners: you can take off the gun on your wrists by grabbing them with your opposite hand.
Literally so fun. The game itself is an oddity that strikes a gamers interest well mine at least but it was so fun to play and the bigger play space you give yourself the better it become and the more you feel like you are actually there and experiencing everything and a hardcore mode would be absolutely amazing one life and then you start over I don’t care what the price is when this game is fully developed I will buy it I love the open world but secluded feel to it and when you go through some doors and you see the outside you just take a second and appreciate the true scale of things and how far we have come in technology and you can just kill the enemies and just admire the artwork albeit simple but brilliantly beautiful gameplay and watching the ships travel overhead and goofing around when I had my fist play through it took me a few days to realize the game was telling me where to go and I was just wondering around aimlessly goofing off and buying upgrades and just having fun and when I found the shields of different sizes it was amazing I loved the gun mechanics and how different ones can shoot more in a round and I think the game as a whole is really well built as is but I don’t have an idea about when the full release date is but I can’t wait for it this game is really well built good job devs I really appreciate the time and effort that went into this game 100000000000000000000000/10 would recommend
Perfect, and I’m not even sugar coating. Rating: off the charts /10
Review: I believe this is still one of and if not THE BEST free game on the quest 2. I have replayed this so many times that I’ve genuinely lost count. This game feels so great to play both seriously and while goofing off, what more could you ask for? The irl movement goes fluently with the procedurally generated level. The amount of things I find out despite playing so often is not much but definitely not zero. This is one of the only games that I can confidently say that the moment it fully releases, I will buy it no matter the price. Ideas: I think the devs should add a rogue like mode where you could beat the game or loop around to the first level again but becomes harder each time you loop. That would cause me to implode with pure joy because of how perfect this game is. All that would do is cause me to replay the game even more that I already would.
Conclusion: If you’re thinking about getting it, get it. If you don’t want it, that’s fine. Don’t let me or anyone else for that matter dictate what you do and don’t play. Play what you want. But this game won’t disappoint you.
Tips: You can hit enemies with guns If you look at the top of a door, it will tell you what way to go to find a certain thing, be the main objective or some health Most, if not all little guys are able to be picked up and will have a button you can press to convert them to your side Don’t hit the turrets on the celling with your gun, it does no damage to them You can store all but the dog of the previously mentioned little guys
Amazing otherworldly experience. This game is truly amazing, and extremely well executed. I can't wait to see the full game, and the interesting story. The game play is very fun and immersive. Every time I play, my heart gets pumping looking around the corner. The gameplay somehow doesn't feel boring or repetitive, every time feeling like a new amazing experience. At first I thought wasn't sure how I felt about the pixilated graphics, but I quickly came to like it, as it still manages to be very immersive, making you feel like you are on another planet. The only thing that I didn't like, was one of the puzzles, the instructions were confusing, and I resorted to pressing random buttons, and that didn't feel rewarding at all (It was the one where you had to fill all of the fuel tanks to the right level.) Overall I really enjoyed this game and can't wait for the full version to be released.
Amazing. Downloaded this game ages ago and never really played it until Today wow what a great VR game become my new favourite and can’t wait for the full version now. Hurry up developers I WANT MORE!!! 🙏🏻

First VR game I've ever played. Instant vr legs, no quicker way to get your bearings in vr than tea for god. Wander through a seemingly infinite labyrinth on your journey to kill a god.
I had an amazing time and I look forward to the day this gets full release.
Truly amazing experience. This game made me understand how the future of video gaming is on VR. The way it uses the space to actually make you walk while encountering and fighting enemies, it's really an involving experience. I look forward to the full version. Is there a release date already?
So good. Drop your guardian sensitivity to zero and prepare to get immersed. Took me awhile to remember I can just "walk there" and really makes the room feel big (wish I had a gymnasium, though!).
Really great mix of modern and old aesthetics in graphics and sound. Cool scenario and I like the minimal exposition. "What do the symbols mean? Oh, these Spider it's can be held?"
Great gameplay; good mix of action and strategy. Interesting assortment of weapons and fun to weigh the options when you find a new one.
Lots of potential! The aesthetic, the feeling, the atmosphere, the eeriness. Everything about this game screams character, and then fact that they did so much with so little is extremely impressive! To take the game to the next level, it definitely needs a lot more variety, using the bridge lifts more and exploring more heights using the clever generating system can be taken further for sure.
The game just needs more variety but otherwise hats off to the piece of art the developers have made with this one 🤟
The full game needs to be finished asap. This game is amazing. I don’t write reviews often. The concept is fantastic. Admittedly the enemies feel repetitive after a while and the guns too, but with the explorative concept and surprises around every corner, the game keeps you on your toes and full of adrenaline.
I love this game but it has some issues. So the game itself is a masterpiece but I just found myself not wanting to play it. Maybe I’m a sensitive crybaby but I felt scared when playing. There was no music to let the game feel relaxing. The sound effects feel like an old horror game in the 2000s and the feeling that someone out of no where can come and kill you is scary to me. Of course if your okay with this then you can play to questions asked it’s an amazing game. But for me it’s not my type but I can’t wait for the future of this.
One of the most unique games on Quest. This game is super fun, it has tension when you know there could be something hiding around the corner or calm while your in peaceful mode just wandering through the maze. The way to reduce motion sickness by physically walking is ingenious how you pull it off. The first time I played this when it was still on SideQuest I didn’t realize that it was non-euclidian until I thought ‘Hey wait, how am I in a completely different part of the maze in my playspace the size of a king’s mattress?’ Then proceeded to realize ‘Oh, it’s non-euclidian!’. I love the concept of this game and I hope you make it to the main store!
So awesome! This is the coolest thing ever. It feels like you're actually walking around a huge building and it breaks my brain . And you can use the little spider robots like bombs! And the other spiders as assassins! The one problem I have is that the game doesn't explain things very well. Just keep in mind that you can drink the shields to restore health. I also want to say to the devs that there should be more of a tutorial.
This is Awesome. I have never played a game like this. For a demo, this is fantastic, I only had one glitch and that was from me fooling around. The roomscale movement mechanic is phenomenal 👌

Amazing game. This is just amazing. The setting. The art style. The story. The game play. And oh my god, the movement. The fact that you move in real life is probably the reason why this is the best free game. And despite being a demo, this is pretty long. I find myself replaying this more than 5 times a day, because it’s randomly generated. The full version is supposed to come out late 2022, and I am so dang hyped. I’ve never written a review this long for anything, but this game deserves it.
Greatest concept for VR EVER! This is now one of my favorite games for a few of reasons,
1. Concept is awesome! You actually get to walk around and feel like your there and it’s an amazing feeling!
2. Although it hurts my fingers, holding guns and shields in your hands makes the game 10x better in my opinion. It makes me feel powerful!
3. Gameplay is really well made. The fact that I can walk around in “impossible” procedurally generated spaces makes it feel so cool. Plus, the fact that there are multiple guns and cool robot enemies makes it even cooler.
4. The fact that there is a story (even though it’s a bit unclear) makes it better. If it didn’t have a story mode it still would have been awesome, but wouldn’t last long.
There are a few things that should be changed or fixed though too.
1. Calibrating play space is a bit of a hassle. My guardian zone will get messed up and I can’t tell where I am and sometimes it will say to stand in a position that isn’t even possible because it’s in my wall or something.
2. The “tutorial” is not clear on a lot of things. It kind of just teaches you health, energy, and that EXM’s exist, then your on your own. I didn’t know that the circles were where I was supposed to be going until about an hour in. Same with the ability to punch.
3. Punching is a bit buggy. If I punch, sometimes it will just push the robot instead of killing it. It works sometimes, but not all the time.
4. Not a big deal but I just think it would be cool to actually be able to push robots off edges easier. It would make it a lot more fun.
Even with the problems this game is a must have for experienced VR players and one of my favorite games to play. No doubt when the full game comes out, whether it’s $2 or $20, I am totally buying it. And this is all coming from a 14 year old who has nothing better to do but play and judge games, so you know it’s good. I also rarely post reviews.
このゲームは、独自の世界です。 ミステリアスでエキサイティング。 私の大好きなゲームです。 そういえば、ROBOTS WITH BLASTERSがあるんでしたっけ?

DIP YOUR TOES INTO THE FOUNTAIN. Come one, come all. If you’re like me, endlessly searching for that next best immersive VR experience and usually coming away disappointed, THIS GAME IS FOR YOU!
The developer uses the largely unused ‘Impossible Spaces’ engine. This means you walk around in the map endlessly (with your own legs), never having to use your joy stick to move. Every time you turn a corner the map opens up to a new location, which is flawlessly done and couldn’t be any more realistic. This makes the game hyper realistic and you really feel like you are there within the world, so much more than you do in games where you have to move around with your controller.
The atmosphere is great, I feel sort of like Han Solo in Star Wars wandering around a futuristic anomaly of a city. The story is fantastic, it gives an emotional pull but there is always mystery in the air…(the cloudy distance of the tall city contributes to this as well). The flying alien-like craft are awesome as well, I just want to discover what’s behind that mysterious sound coming from the spaceships.
You are wondering the whole time who this ‘god’ is… Is it a robot, alien, human? My only complaint is that this is just the demo, I can’t wait for the full version!
This game is a world of its own. Mysterious and exciting. My favorite game. Oh did I mention there’s ROBOTS WITH BLASTERS?
Simply phenomenal. I downloaded this game because I heard it was good, but I didn't think it'd be THIS good. The art style is fantastic, the movement of the game is awesome, and there's just a pinch of uneasiness on top of the whole thing. If you have the chance to play this game, PLAY IT. You will not be disappointed. Even in its current unfinished state, it's worth every second. I cannot wait for when it's done. It's safe to say I've found one of my favorite VR titles of all time.
