SynthVR is the synth nerd’s sci-fi fantasy: A modular synthesizer environment built from the ground up for virtual reality.
Based on the Eurorack standard and reimagined for VR, SynthVR offers an exciting and accessible path into the world of modular synth music. It comes packed with studio-quality synth modules including oscillators, sequencers, effects, logic and more.
Incredible App for Synth. The team has done some outstanding work in this app and it is still in app lab. If you are into synth then this is a must have. It blows the Korg app away. Keep up the good work team and hopefully you will post some new tutorials soon! I only have two questions, how do delete something I added to the rack and where do I get patch codes ? Thanks! I’m sure at the rate this is going will be 5 stars when done!

Modular Heaven. My quest Two was gathering dust,, until I found SynthVR,. I've always been into synthesizers and owned a few (SC Pro-1, Moog) . I saw Videos and Pics of Modular Systems but never had a chance to use one. NOw I have my own. 4 stars only because there is so much more potential , and I'll reserve the 5th star for future upgrades (hopefully)

My new VR modular studio... This is properly awesome. A dream modular synth.
Full 3-D spatial audio!
No glitches so far despite some fairly challenging spatial audio experiments.
Though still slightl
This will be integrated with my 'conventional' studio...a TOP addition.
I am excited to see where vr goes with music and visual art and design but this is a very solid and most impressive to me so far. The spatial audio speaker placement adds a very interesting element too. Looking forward to learning more with this app.
A modular visual builder like jitter in max would just be the icing on the cake with something like this.
Highly recommend and has allowed me to test the world of modular synths without breaking the bank.
Starting is the only intimidation. I have zero experience with synths. The premade tutorial modules got me going for so long that I ran out of battery in my quest 2. I was just going to test it out for a minute.

A must have for creative minds! This is has me smiling. It's amazing, and I'm gonna get lost in creating new sounds.
Great! I bought it again here... After using it for a while on Steam VR. There aren't many amazing sound apps in VR yet, you should try this one! https://youtu.be/bRAZ9DD_jM4 "First Look - It seems great! "Modular Synths" are an expensive musical adventure in the real world, but here in VR you get a full set of them (with more to be added in future I assume?) for a reasonable price. You have to follow the rules of electricity, but you aren't bound by the laws of gravity, the modules can float in the middle of cyberspace if you like."
Synth Nerds Delight. While this app is not for everyone… for those that have an understanding of modular sound synthesis… this is absolutely a dream come true.
Owning an actual modular synth rack is not only expensive, but takes up considerable room. Being able to “have one” that’s nearly infinitely customizable is simply legendary to nerds like me. If you want to shape your sound you won’t have to buy another $3k piece of gear, and cables to hook it up. No more “I need to buy another rack so I can fit more gear in here.” You won’t be buying any more room-heating, electricity guzzling, space-occupying racks of gear after this. Ok, some people might.
The only improvement I would like to see is to allow free movement, and smooth turning. It’s a little bit of work to get positioned just right. While it’s not as easy to play sitting, you can.
This app does have a steep learning curve so do not get frustrated if it takes you a while before you can even hear any sound on your own creations. Crafting sounds with a real modular synth can take some time as well… don’t be discouraged, and keep learning! Before diving in you can try out a lot of peoples creations and fiddle with knobs to experiment on something that’s already hooked up. When you are ready, you can dive in and create any sound you can dream of!
VR-optimized modular synths. This is a modular synthesizer that can be run in VR. (It worked fine!) A modular synth is a musical instrument that you play by connecting oscillators, filters, and other components with code to create the sound you want. With SynthVR, you don't have to worry about where to put your rack. You don't have to spend money to add more synth modules. You can connect as many patches as you want, freely place the speakers in the space, and compose, perform, and record in 3D sound.
This synthesizer is freedom.
The patch sharing function makes it easy to download and play patches created by others and add your own arrangements. Preset drums and a sequencer are included from the start, so you can just start making some nice rhythms.
I have no idea what I'm doing. ...but it's fun anyways.
I am not a music artist, but this app is designed in a way that I can still understand enough to make some interesting sounds. It's intuitive, beginner-friendly, and fun. Also, the developer is very responsive and transparent about updates and features.
Good for learning Modular Synthesis. I've only had this for about an hour but this is my first real experience with modular synthesis over my digital synth and this app is really user friendly and fun to use. The menu is very simple and has a small description for every module making it easy to learn and understand.
It looked cool, but it doesn't work. um.I bought this game thinking it would be amazing. But it doesn't seem to work at all. It's pretty idiotic. And I'm a musician,
