TrainerVR is a unique physics-based VR train construction game. In TrainerVR you can create from simple tracks to an elaborate rail network, just like the wooden piece game, but to the infinity and beyond, and drive the trains inside your creations!
Have you ever feel the despair of running out of tracks just when the fun was sparkling? Have you ever dreamed about a huge train network connecting towns, going up and down, intersecting and looping? If you liked building with your own bare hands, you’ll feel the same in our limitless VR world and see your dreams come true.
But this is not only about the destination; it's also about the journey. Enjoy building your structures, growing more complex, while fighting against Newton’s laws.
Once the job is done you can place as many trains as you want and ensure everyone’s safety avoiding crashes acting like a profesional train traffic controller.
Not bad at all but could be better. Would love a toy train in vr that would be similar to laying the Lionel tracks as a kid- yes, I know that is exactly what is presented here but how about…. First of all, more tracks and track types. Not even sure- does this have train sounds? And does it offer a view from the engine as it runs? Would love to see where this goes. One thing I like is the enormous area to work with. Of course, would love to see more realistic Lionel type trains and track but that might be too much to ask…. How cool would it be to have that virtual Lionel layout without spending thousands or taking up a room in the house? I would pay a lot for that
Basically okay, but missing a lot. This is not a bad vr train game. The problem is a lot of the train tracks that come in real life for whatever reason are amiss. There are Y tracks but Z track connections are absent. - those are absolutely must items and using Y tracks to create Z connections is basically throwing off the entire program since it is extremely bad. Al ot of C tracks are way too sharp on the turn and require creating prolonged S patterns. Overall missing a lot of basic critical tracks but it is probably the best toy train Sim in vr out there
Great, but needs more trains. I love this game.As a model railway guy , this was a great experience;but i was disappointed by the lack of diversity with the trains. Try adding a mallard/flying scotsman/Tornado /class66 or 37 as I would love that. Also could you please add a countryside map or city map .
Great game, wish it had a little "more". I played this game on PS VR and loved it. I am playing it on the Oculus Quest 2 and still love it. I wish you could fit more elements on the screen at once. As it is, I was building a pretty elaborate layout when the aliens started taking away my pieces. If not possible to have more pieces, maybe adding some kind of "memory counter" near the top would help with planning. Figuring out the logic for switch tracks and such is something I really enjoy. It's cool sitting back and watching multiple trains run around the track, stopping at cranes or passenger stations based on how you set up the buttons. My only other critique is that it would be great if you could somehow share creations. My brother has the same game and it'd be cool if we could show off what we built without having to take picture or record video. Other than that, please keep up the development. No other train app is quite like this one.
Good games but I got some suggestions. All right now I’m not gonna draw this out but the game is perfect not perfect but you know it’s beautiful and somewhere no here’s the things that I would add or like to be added most likely I would want a little more riding the trains no I’m not saying the trains suck I’m just saying I me a little more train varieties like one with a coal hopper or tender for all you British people a lot of other varieties of Hogwarts train caboose all those. Another map because I mean the desert map after a while The map just kind of gets pretty boring after a while anyway there is a much probably what I would want know what I would want like a foresee map or in the winter map those would be cool What besides all that were made the game kudos to you i’m pretty sure that I use it sorry I I feel like I’m drunk it’s like what 8:25 PM I am basically drunk at this point anyways this is a good game but just a little more trains or something you know it’ll kill him kill niceness you know I’m saying I’m gonna stab auto correct it’s jacking up my entire thing might her speech Open anyways good game bye.
Grandson loves it. Grandson loves this game. Unlike when I played train sets Took ages to build up and more importantly ..does not fill the room and floor and is is easy to clear away..brilliant you can save and store sites you have built…only down side is the ground it is just white ..no grass or any thing…roadways would be great too
Fun little train game. Enjoyed the game so far. Good start. Would like to see more objects and tools. This should include coloring the ground. Please also include additional environments other than the southwest. Would be nice to see an action button for the crane to load unload the rail cars. Also need a caboose. Thanks for a good start. Look forward to an update.
Fun to construct and then ride the train. This is a great app. It's fun to construct a train set then drive through it in first person. A few requests if you don't mind for future updates.
1) Instructions on driving the train would help. What does the lever on the boiler cover do?
2) I can't seem to adjust the speed well enough to keep the train on the tracks. An "Auto-pilot" option would be nice.
3) Can you remap the hand gripping action to the grip button when driving the train? It's counterintuitive since other apps use this button to grip stuff.
Thanks to the developers. I am looking forward to really getting into this app.
Second purchase. It didn't caught my daughter's attention so I refunded, but later on she remembered and wanted to try again. She likes it a lot! I didn't played with the game just helped out when there was some confusion.
Overall the game looks polished, it is stable, on quest 1 if you have a lot on the screen it could get a bit laggy. The scenery being a white plain is a bit empty, some other environments could make it a lot better.
There a lot of props to decorate with, tracks have variety. It's a missed out opportunity to not have roads for the cars IMO.
User interace is easy to use but it cannot be hidden with a button, you have to close it with the UI "x".
Fun sandbox for trains! I've spent a lot more time in this app than I have in many which cost a lot more! Feels a little bit basic but as it isn't in the proper app store yet, I will be forgiving! lol! Hopefully the developers will add to the game, some additional scenery and ability to change colours on the trains would be nice as would a longer duration on the cloud that appears over trains when they collide - I frequently hear the explosion but can't turn around fast enough to see where the collision happened! Very frustrating when you have a big layout! :) Still, very enjoyable as it is!
Love to play this with my son. My son is massively into trains, and I’ve had this title off Steam for some time now. Building his favorite wooden tracks, and letting him tell me what he wants next. This game is amazingly fun, and super easy to pick up and play. However I would love to see hand tracking, so I could actually put the headset on my son, and let him try. Controls are still to big for him. 5 stars for a amazing sandbox game.
Amazing! A must buy if you have children. My son absolutely loves playing this. I felt some nostalgia playing it myself lol. The action button is a really cool feature. Hopefully there will be more pieces for the action button to come. This should really be in the official store.
