LOVE FOREVR GAMES! I love all the ForeVR games and this one doesnt disappoint! Its is a lot like real bowling but way more fun! You can listen to music on the jukebox and play in a few different locations. You can even play some of the arcade games in the arcade. One of the really neat features is the "pass and play" where up to 4 people can play on 1 headset by passing it. All of the ForeVR games are extremely well done and they are a ton of fun to play with friends and family online. ForeVR Games are so much fun.
Me and My Grandmas favorite game! Almost every Monday, me and my Grandma get on our VR and do some bowling! We have so much fun laughing playing and exploring! This is a game I recommend if you’d like to play with your family maybe living far away! Me and my Grandmas favorite thing to do however, is explore! We have checked out almost every map and are really hoping to get a new map! But better yet, a new map being able to explore EVERYWHERE! Where you can explore lots of places! Overall though, 5+ stars! Amazing game!
Close to the bowling game you want, but. Update 10/23/23: I'm still a bit disappointed in the throwing options. Two of the options make it feel like you have bumpers up and can never throw a gutter ball, the classic option is better but I wish the was a way to calibrate your own throw type. I use my middle finger in the thumb hole in real life. Thus I have to hold the controller really weird to not throw way off course with my natural throw.
If you are looking for a great bowling game look no further. There are 100s of unlockables to keep you invested in playing games and having fun. The controls feel great, and the graphics are solid. As a multiplayer game it is hard to beat, you can just hang out and bowl with your friends. Additionally, it's pretty cool that you can just walk into their other game ForeVR Darts from the main hub if you own it (which you should). They constantly update the game and listen to feedback.
Used to like it…. I really enjoyed playing this with friends and family when they came over. However, now pass and play only allows for 2 players which is a real bummer. That was one of the key reasons I got this game to begin with. I hope they consider adding it back to more people !
Pretty solid and fun. Lots of variety and stuff, the game plays well enough, it looks pretty good too, but it just didn't hook me beyond a few goes. I don't think that's a fault of the game so much as it just isn't particularly to my taste, but that's where I'm at. Maybe it was just a little to convoluted at times to just feel like it was easy to pick up and play, which I'm all about. If you get into it though, I think you could spend many hours with it.
Visit inceptional to get quarter off this and many other VR games.
Forevr bowl. You took away pass and play which is what buyers paid for so so based on that i would call it fraud - you should be ashamed of yourself and so should meta for allowing you to do it - YOU broke the product so YOU should refund the hard earned money spent
Cartoon physics, unreliable spin. I own Premium and ForeVR bowl. Premium has more realistic ball and pin physics; I can put spin I expect on the ball in a reasonable way, the pins explode and rattle around like they should. ForeVR feels more like a toy or cartoon; I can't get spin on the ball reliably (unless I heft it 10' down the lane), the ball zips down the lane very quickly, and the pins damp out really quickly.
In my opinion, both games need ball inertia while the user is holding it, both rotational and linear. This means when the user moves their hand, they send a force to the ball to bring it to the new orientation, and the ball needs to accelerate to get there. We have infinite strength right now, so it's not surprising it's twitchy. This would naturally stabilize the release direction (since you have the whole back-swing defining a forward momentum) so the natural twitch on button release doesn't cause it to fly in the wrong direction. Rotational inertia while holding would cause the ball to take time to spin up and hold the spin whether it hits the floor or is released first.
Used to be a great game but…. I really like this game played it a lot with a cousin lotta fun just to play and listen to YouTube music videos only promise the balls don’t load anymore I don’t know what’s going on but about half the balls are blank every time I log back in if they would fix whatever is wrong with it I’d start playing again.
This game is fun and can be really entertaining. My children really like the different bowling balls we can collect and the different themes for the bowling alleys (we would love to see more). It COULD be a great family game, but as mentioned in a previous review, the 2 player limit on pass and play really let's it down. Please consider increasing this, trying to play this as a family of 4 is disappointing.
New update ruined this game. Why would you take away pass n play for more than 2 players?! It's like you guys sat around the meeting table and asked yourselves "how could be upset 90%+ of the people that bought this game?" Well, mission accomplished, guess my family and i switch back to Premium Bowling, while the play is worse, at least we can all play together🤷♂️
