This game is a fun puzzler, but certainly has its flaws. I played through it with one player just fine, but having a second player certainly would have helped in places. The story is okay, but the best part was the unique gameplay which shines in VR. Give it a try, especially with the 25% off code. Enjoy!
Best VR Co-op game. As of right now this is quit literally the only co-op puzzle game. There is nothing like this game and I only wish there was more!! This was so much fun to play through with a friend. It is a unique vr experience that by design requires communication and corporation which is what makes it such a great coop game.
Wish there was more! I absolutely LOVED playing this game with my friend, me in VR and him on PC and we kept coming back until we 100% completed it ^-^ I just wish this game was more well known and praised so more games like it would be created!
Had so much fun in Coop both in Quests. Weird bug though, hosting a game on Quest 3 corrupts or something game saves, hosting games on the Quest 2 had no problems.
Not tried quest coop yet. This feature implies both players can simply play using meta quest devices no extra PC or anything required. I'm really excited for this update. This makes the games a lot more accessible. Looking forward to playing with the family, great timing. Thanks guys!
Multiplayer has stopped working. Keep getting cannot join room code error on multiplayer no matter whether I host or join. This won't let me play multiplayer at all. No matter what I've done. Same with my friend. We've uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Tried different Internet networks and nothing works. Please help!
Horrible, multiplayer is dead. Bought the game and used to play with my kid but now multiplayer with macos client no longer works. when trying to reinstall the new installer .dmg from official site carlyandthereaperman not working.
Allow music volume to be adjusted. Please could you allow the music to be switched off and also to be adjusted in volume. It would also be good if the joystick could be used to move forwards/backwards as the reaperman (I can only ise it to rotate the view). The current way of moving around as the reaperman gives me some motion sickness.

Lost Platforming Gem. Carly and the Reaperman is a game like Moss, Mixture and Ven. Its a platformer where you control a character (Carly) like a classic platformer, but also interact with her in a God like former (Reaperman).
The game has amazing camera controls and supports room scaling. You will never have a bad camera angle in this game, and you can explore and move around the worlds freely. The game is a lot of fun and reminds me of Mario, but you solve puzzles and help the character in a God like way get through the platforming levels. The controls are easy to master and you will be controlling Carly and interacting with the world like a pro. The game has over 50 levels of platforming fun to complete and a story to following along.
If you enjoyed games like Moss, you have to try this gem out.
I can’t hear voice over music hardly. Devs!! Please give the option to turn down and/or off the music. I can barely hear the other player’s voice over the game music & sound effects. It’s really annoying!! Otherwise super fun!
Why do I have to buy this twice. I bought this on oculus and unlike any other game I’ve ever bought they want me to buy it again to download it to my pc to play it on the oculus ???
Ehhhh…. I mean it’s a unique puzzle game, but wow it gets boring fast. Multiplayer? Okay I guess, pretty broken for the most part plus the microphones are literal garbage. However I like the story, very mysterious as to who this character is and why this reaper dude is helping her free the souls of lost children. Gives me indie game vibes.
I’m just happy the pc version is free but honestly solo is just booooooring. Okay with a friend but the game is way too long, it’s nice but it gets very repetitive with the puzzles.

Co-op Platforming Fun! [25% OFF]. A very enjoyable game. Easy crossplay co-op allows my daughter to control Carly on the PC while I assist as the friendly VR skeleton overhead. The platforming is challenging but still enjoyable.

Fun but not perfect. This is one of the few puzzle games that can be played coop with another person.
For that reason alone, there are not many other games in vr that can replace this game.
However, I do wish there were more gameplay options so that we could have more to do besides the campaign. If they ever give more replayability options, this game would get 5 stars.
