Best game on VR but can you handle it?. This is by far my favorite VR game. Once you get the hang of it just keeps getting better and more addictive. I have been racing for almost 2 years now and love it now more than ever. When I'm racing I feel like I'm going so fast that my eyes literally water down my face from the intensity of the speed. Multiplayer against other top racers is just incredible. I posted some of the battles I've had on my YouTube channel if you want to check it out.
Racers complain about not enough multiplayer action. I get it, but if you just go in the lobby don't see someone and immediately leave you're never going to get a race. Go to the lobby and if no one's there go on alert and hit the leaderboards up and try to get a top 25 time, or race some single player to warm up. When someone's in the lobby you can go race them.
Don't be a quitter. A lot of new racers wihen they race against me and lose once or twice and they then give up. If they just followed me they would be decent after one round through the 11 courses. While you are on alert waiting for a race go to the leaderboard and race foundation loop control until you can get around without flying off the course every 5 seconds. Every item is a boost so it's a lot of fun and keeping track of your times you will see what works and what doesn't.
This is an extreme game for extreme people so if you can't get past the motion sickness you should probably find something a little bit more your speed.
FAST AF。
FAST AF. Great game. I've played most of the racing games on quest and this one is the best 👌 im surprised its not more popular. Maybe its to fast for most people but for a vr veteran like myself. It was perfect. That feeling like your flying 200mph is so so good. I play vr for amazing experiences and this one is 10/10 definitely worth $10
Thrilling Turbo Bike Racing with Powerup. This futuristic motorbike racing game with turbo and attack powerups, is set in Tron like eye candy environments that twist and turn and loop on itself. It's fast and thrilling, the graphics and motion are smooth, but it could be motion sickness inducing for some. I played this game with a flight stick and it took it to another level. It made the bike's control even easier, but it also just felt great having a physical tactile control in your hand.
Very good. Excellent controls, tons of replayability, especially for a VR game, fun mechanics and insane speeds. Had me queasy the first time I played it, but I got used to it. I absolutely love looking out at the track as it twists and loops before you even start the race, a first look at the challenge ahead. Then, once you get going you easily get up to 500 miles an hour and it feels that fast too. The off-road slowing down mechanic feels very well balanced, being able to get more off road time with the hex rings. All the different types of challenges are fun and unique. The races, speed trials, and hex ring challenges all have different things to offer. When racing, you can use tons of different items, I love that the ice virus is inspired by tron of course. Everything about this game comes together to make the ultimate vr racing experience, and while it is more immersive to use tilt, I prefer stick controls, as those make it easier to control. Thank you to the devs for working on and creating my favorite VR game, which is the main reason I even still use my headset.
Motion Sickness. Much reduced graphics. Low fps. You will get a major motion sickness because of the low fps. It can get pretty difficult to control cause the images don't look 100% smooth. I don't blame the game, but the bad gpu of Quest 2.
Better than expected. This is a fun game to play.i was not expecting much for $10 but after getting used to the controls its super fun. I keep finding myself trying to beat my Lap times and most er these tracks
Floor holes ruin it. They have a " battery " and u can float over the holes ..... It drains instantly and the holes are literally everywhere ..... The rings nice touch but ....no. No I enjoyed the speed I felt. The immersion was great but the fridding holes dude w t f no one in our house wants to play becouse the dmd holes
Gameplay is 5 stars, but... Great game overall, probably my favourite VR game at the moment as I am a competitive racing game player. However there are a few small things I think the game is missing.
It definitely needs a restart button on the pause menu. When I am going for leaderboard records, I have to exit the track then go back in, having a simple restart button would make it so much easier. Also the barriers in the "void" areas are hard to see on some tracks, like even impossible on a few tracks and I can't boost around them because I can't see them.
The final thing i would say is to have a replay option after my run would be amazing, so I can film my runs after I finish them. I don't mean for online, just for leaderboards.
Overall I think it's a great game and if any of these things are added I'll immediately change my rating to 5 stars.
Difficult to learn. I still haven’t been able to complete the first track. It’s not user friendly. At least not for a beginner. I don’t think it feels like a natural bike. I’ve changed the control setting to see if it will help and this does very little. Also the helmet option doesn’t make any sense to me. I guess it has something to do with motion sickness but it does nothing for me. It is possible that I just haven’t had enough experience with this type of racing games but I feel like it shouldn’t be as frustrating to learn as it is. I wanted to race some friends but I wouldn’t want them to purchase it and have the same issues. Especially since I recommend to them.
Intense! Honestly couldn't play for more than 10 mins at a time. My head would start spinning even with the helmet on to minimize view. A little hard. Kids didnt like too much. Got a headache afterwards. Requesting Refund. Good concept if you dont get dizzy easily. Reminds me of Tron!
No solid online player base. Awesome game, I agree with what has been written in previous reviews but why doesn't anyone mention the lack of online player base? Basically, online multiplayer is limited to playing with friends. What a shame.
Hidden Gem! One of my top 5! I have my favorites in Room Scale, Standing and Sitting. This is my #2 in sitting experiences (behind Wander). Beautiful design. Great game play. Nice adrenaline rush! Try this with one handed control.
Devs, I only have one suggestion. The SFX sound great, but they could sound a little more Bad A-- with some tweaking. They could feel a little more "fast" and "powerful".
Nice. Bought it a while back tried it as it was but couldn't get the turning right and deleted it. But decided to try it again and went into settings and was able to change control to either my right or left analogue stick and it became playable for me like that. It does have a nice sense of speed about it and I enjoyed it. Just a case of getting to know the tracks better to improve. It has pick ups that do various things so not just racing. Some rounds are how many rings can you get in 3 laps. I picked it up on sale, but would say it is a tidy game for the full price.
good but needs... I like it! Didn't make me nauseous and some other games have. A good variety of challenges and tracks. I know if you and your friends log on to multiplayer at the same time you can see them but I'd really like to see the ability to make a private multiplayer lobby with just your own group, this would have made the 5 stars for me
Super fast and smooth! Very simple but effective game to demonstrate speed and immersion. Runs super fast and smooth and is pretty addictive. This might not suit you if you are prone to motion sickness though. My only complaint is that the bikes have a bit of a lame sound. Otherwise, the music and the rest of the sound effects are great. For the price, this is great value and worth a try.
